"Why stop?" A smile came upon the mans face. "It was really good!" Kyo added, approaching the two.

Oh, here we go again.
Ike simply peered at the man from his perch atop the opposite railing, an unreadable expression plastered on his face.
"Err...hi," Rabid half-smiled, taking the compliment as one for her son, "They call me Rabid."

"The names Kyo, It's nice to meet you Rabid," Kyo lifted himself up on to the railing and smiled, "And this would be?" Kyo nodded to the creature clad in white fur.

"My name's Malachi," Ike gave a rather forced smile that came out looking a bit manic.
"My son. What brings you to the HQ, Kyo?"

This one doesn't seem so bad...
"Well...welcome, regardless of why you're here," Rabid laughed slightly.
"We live here...up on the second floor in the middle."
"So..." Rabid peered about them at the foliage and kicked her feet, "You live in Gaia, Kyo?"

Hm. 'You can say'? How odd.
"Interesting? That's a nice way to put it. There's 6 of us shoved in one room with a dog, a kyn, a butterfly, and three fish," she laughed again, "I'm surprised that you haven't seen anyone else wandering around. The grounds are usually fairly active. Maybe everyone's sleeping in today. Or at work."
Bah. Work. She had no social life because of her friends and their damn work.

"Well...it's an HQ. There's more than just us," Rabid nodded, "Many more."
"I was born on October first, two-thousand five," Ike grinned proudly, "We've lived here since then."

"Since October, very cool," Kyo smiled, giving Malachi a thumbs up, "October is an awesome month!" Kyo added, nodding and glanced over at Rabid.
"Hmm..." Was all that he could mutter.

"It was an odd October, I'll give you that," Rabid absentmidedly rubbed the finger that had been the cause of Ike's creation, "So...do you plan on ado--?"
Ike had picked up his violin and once again began playing. This song was one he had written himself, a bit simplistic and smacking of angst.

"What was that?" Kyo shot up his glance up to Rabid in confusion, waiting for her to finish what she was about to say. Kyo then moved his gaze over to the violin playing Malachi.
"He's very talented at the violin, where did he learn to play it so well?"

"Planning to adopt, I meant," Rabid answered rather quickly, avoiding the second question. She glanced to her son to make sure that he hadn't heard.
Ike had, in fact, heard nothing. He continued playing, blissfully ignorant of the rather disturbing question.
