It took time for the flash of light to clear from her vision. The white faded to off color rainbows and finally darkened enough that she could make out the chaos going on around them. Shae faeries everywhere, the queen in the lake swinging a rope like a whip at the surrounding attackers... Ida ducked and dropped to her stomach as it snapped above her, an oof breaking from her as she landed hard.
This was... nuts. Enemies fighting side by side against some threat that had just suddenly appeared. Where had this monster come from? What made her suddenly decide to attack this war torn city? Someone had not done their research very well or had discounted all of the powered fighters that called this city home.
When the rope had passed her, Ida rolled to her feet and stood up, glancing around to take stock of her surroundings before she renewed her attack on the dark queen, her fists and feet once more her weapons of choice.
Leto had taken a moment to retie on her furs, which proved to be a grave mistake as the Queen lashed out at the crowd. The monochrome rope whipped across Leto's bare abdomen, causing a burn across her skin. She winced and clenched her teeth, forcing herself not to cry out.
The Senshi of Camouflage was getting her a** handed to her and with every hit her anger flared more and more. She was immediately resentful of the fact that none of her attacks were ranged and that she didn't have a weapon like the Negaverse did.
If that dumb Queen would just move from the water's surface to the land, then she would actually have a chance.
Damocles actually ended up letting go of Tantalus in recoil when the whip him him. "Mother ********." He growled. The blonde was quickly growing tired of this. He found, to his surprise a small tree-branch at his feet. Grabbing it, he splintered the edge to a point before throwing it like a spear or a javelin at the queen's shoulder. "You should leave. Or at the very least fall back." He muttered to Tantalus.

Desmond hissed when 'Grace' reached for him. Not because he was annoyed with some strangers contact, but because his eyes still stung. The violet haired boy yelped again when the colorless thing hit him as well. Some artistic part of his brain found this ironic and that this would be funnier if the monochrome rainbow had actually been in color. "...Do you know why artist's suffer for their work?" He asked, coughing as the wind had been knocked from him. He could handle this. He'd been through worse. ....Ish. "Because it's called painting." And this queen was doing one hell of a job. "That hurt." Pulling himself up and free from his captor, rescuer-er?, whatever, Des staggered a bit as he gained his footing before once again sinking his blade into a shades head.

[Rainbow Slicer missed!]
Captain Serpentine had been observing the battle thus far from a nearby rooftop. He had arrived late to the scene due to his nightly patrol around Richard's home. It was from that location that he had felt the clustering of energy - with so many, it had been impossible to ignore. Upon arriving, and seeing that the battle well underway, he had decided to wait for an opportunity to strike. The more he watched, the more it became apparent that any danger to his friend and partner had not been lurking around his building. No, it had been here.
He breathed in the night air. The scent, and the electric tingle that spread across his skin, was like nothing he had ever experienced. Everyone was working together - Senshi, Knights, Negaverse, and even Dark Moon Court. That meant four different types of energy that he could sense, that washed over him. Yes, this battle meant more than just his one brief, hated alliance with the porcelain doll Senshi whose clone had burned him worse than any fire. His guts tensed in memory of that pain, but it was not fear that kept him from the battle. It was patience, the patience of a snake waiting for the prey to reveal a vulnerability.
Finally, his chance arrived. There was no way to avoid the battlefield any further. He teleported behind the Eclipse Queen and lashed at her back with his whip. Perhaps the element of surprise would spare him a direct counterassault.

Once she seemed to get her wings pumping as fast and fiercely as they could go, the Princess of Rainbows sprang up, flying low in the Queen's direction. The bottom of her dress touched the surface of the water, but at the moment she was concentrating upon the task of flight, which took quite a bit more energy than one would imagine.
When she was close enough to attack, she couldn't concentrate enough to summon magic. However, she actually spoke to the leading Shade.
"...you have my sympathies... but this isn't the way to find a place to settle down..."
She rounded towards the Queen's side before she literally attempted to shove the monochrome figure out from the center of the lake and towards the rest of the attackers at the edge of the waters.
Maia's eyes adjusted after she was nearly blinded, he rock had hit it's mark, but she didn't know that. She was worried about Delphi and looked around for her, but with as much as going on as currently was she couldn't find the girl. Her momentary distraction cost her greatly. She turned to hear the queen call out yet another attack only to be struck hard in the side with a glowing whip. It stung badly and knocked Maia right off her feet.
She groaned and struggled back to her feet. Her fuku was torn and there was a nasty bruise already blossoming across her abdomen. She had to shake it off, even though it hurt badly, she needed to focus on the task at hand.
Athene probably would have acknowledged the silver-haired senshi's greeting or whatever the 'OOOOU' sound that she send in his direction with a nod and maybe a bit of a quizzical look, but he had been a bit tied up or rather his legs had been and then he'd had other things on his mind when he'd been dazzled by the dazzle attack that the Shade Queen sent in their direction just before the boomerang had konked him on the head.
And then he'd had the Shade to deal with. Although not on his own for long as Nysa moved to help. The Neptune Knight had swung a punch in the thing's direction which it had dodged, but it had at least opened up a bit of breathing space.
The Queen seemed to be ranting again and as Athene dodged back as the Shade attacking him decided to lunge forward in his direction rather than in Nysa's and he found himself wondering if she knew how to do anything else.
And then she started calling out words of an attack that he recognised and for a moment Athene gave a startled look in her direction before having to hastily dodge a swing from the Shade. "Watch out for this one" he called out in warning to both Nysa and the silver-haired senshi who he'd thought he'd heard give the name Pysche, although it was more directed at the Neptune Knight than the silver-haired senshi given that she'd been there at the battle with the fake Princess and thus had most likely seen it in action. "Don't let that light touch you." It looked like he hadn't managed to get his warning off in time however as he heard someone hiss.
For his part, Athene had watched for the light, managing to dodge out of its path in time, he already knew what the attack could do having been acquainted with it, almost intimately acquainted with it you could say given that his leg still had the mark from when the monochrome princess' version had wrapped around it before he could pull back from it and he wasn't looking to experience the pain of it again.
The Shade attacking him had jumped back and for a moment Athene had an opening, he also had the boomerang that had whapped him in the head hair. He took it, using the moment of opportunity to scoop up the boomerang and fling it as hard as he could in the Shade Queen's (Finsternis) direction, the throw feeling to be a good one, for all that he'd never thrown a boomerang before.
Of course that left him with a Shade that wasn't particularly happy that he'd launched another attack on its Queen and it immediately lauched itself at him.

------------------------------------------------------ At the Nega-Lieutenant's call Falias ducked, something going whizzing overhead before making impact with something, not able to help the slight smile as the he realised that the thing that had been konked was the Shade that had been troubling him, the thing toppling over from the impact - a bit of poetic justice if ever he'd seen it.
With the Shade for the moment downed he looked at the Lieutenant, "I'm Falias by the way, Falias Page of Earth" he figured that the Lieutenant had earned a name given the all the help he'd had from the other.
The Shade Queen started ranting yet again at that point, the rants seemed aimed at both Order and Chaos alike. Falias' face turned serious as he glanced over at her "That thing really needs to be taken down" he said as he watched the towering figure warily.
And then she was launching some sort of ribbon thing made up of greyed lights in their direction, "I don't know what that thing is," he said to the Lieutenant as he tried to keep half his attention on the thing and the half on the Shade adding. "If it's anything like the rest of the stuff she's sent our way though then I don't think I want to find out either."
And then he was having to try and dodge as the ribbon light was on them, feeling the heat from the thing as he just barely made it.
The downed Shade was not as lucky, screaming as the ribbon of light hit it before it disappeared, Falias doubly glad that the thing had missed him.
He looked to see how the Lieutenant had fared, hoping that the blond had managed to avoid the light ribbon too and then a cry of pain had him looking over to his right. The sound coming from a blonde senshi who had fallen, a Shade advancing on her.
Picking up a nearby rock, Falias tried to launch it at the Shade in question although even as he threw it he knew that his aim had been off. Maybe it would hit, maybe not either way looked he knew what he was going after next - after all much as he knew that the Queen Shade had to be the ultimate target, he wasn't about to leave the blonde senshi to the un-tender mercies of her clone.

(Valhalla's attack)
Valhalla stared at Ganymede, his mouth opening for a moment before closing it, realizing he had no idea what to say in response to something so profound.
If his attack reversed movement… they really should cancel each other out, shouldn’t they??
His eyebrows furrowed a little, part frustration, part determination as Ganymede took his hand. He squeezed hers back, giving her a look that enveloped all of his confidence in her and her abilities, and the trust that she would be able to help Themiscyra out while he took care of his own clone.
As she parted from him, he turned back to his own shade, his compass held up and ready for its magic to be used. But instead of risking the bad reaction he expected from his attack canceling itself out, he made a lunge for the clone, swinging a punch at it… and receiving one back in his face.
Maybe he should have taken Remarque up on learning how to defend himself and fight a bit better.

He was still low, the final stunning lights blinked from his eyes, when the rope came around again -- just in time for him to see it coming, to duck further, and to watch it strike Leto around the waist. He shuddered, patted at himself -- untouched -- and then narrowed his eyes to look back toward the Queen.
Leto didn't have a ranged attack, but he did.

She'd lashed back at him last time, but that didn't matter to Al-Janah right now; all that mattered was throwing what he had at her while he still could. So for a second time, he thrust a hand up into the air, voice raised over the crowd --
"Janah Quarry!"
The target of the attack is then marked to a circle about ten feet in diameter. If the circle is crossed either by the target leaving or someone else entering their space, the falcon dives from the sky and chases after them, raking at them with its talons.
This time, after swooping in for its first attack, the bird returns to circling above them, resetting its 30 second timer. If the circle is crossed a second time, it attacks them again, this time knocking them to the ground as it does.
There was a grin in his voice as the bird landed on his wrist, this time, and he threw it toward the queen. They'd see if it would successfully knock her down...
Leto rubbed at her eyes and once her sight had finally returned to normal and her head stopped hurting from the boomerang that clocked her rather hard, she managed to push herself to her feet. She was seconds away from practically throwing herself at the Queen, since she lacked any other attack- but when she saw Al-Janah summon his falcon, she knew better than to get anywhere near her.
Instead, she moved quickly towards a trash can that had been left over from the party earlier in the week, grabbed the lid, and hurled it at the Queen.
That was definitely more useful than hitting people with furs.
