He was good for scant few tasks, but ones requiring brute force were his speciality. Ash wrapped his hands into the rope, tugging hard, his helmet down low to shield himself from the mud (to little success, I might add).
He pulled, and his biceps bulged, his muscles strained, and he honestly looked like the boil version of those skellyvision ads where the construction trucks are showing off how strong they are by hauling various heavy objects around.
Just, you know.
With less movement.

IT'S A TRIPLE THREAT DOWN ON THE FIELD, FOLKS, WITH THE MONSTERS, REAPERS, AND UNDEAD ALL PULLING TOWARD VICTORY!
Monsters are pulling strong, the leader being the...werewolf? Really, with that hair? Well if looks like Mikey the Werewolf is proving himself to be quite the alpha here in Round 2!
And anchoring the Undead are Student Council President, Aymet, and Olivia, proving you can't go wrong when you've got a wight on your side!
And on the Reaper side...my...WHAT IS GOING ON WITH REAPERS IN THIS COMPETITION?! WITH THE OTHER DORMS OVER POWERING THE REAPERS, HEL SELIE IS NOW GOING BERSERK ON THAT ROPE, SHE'S...SHE'S PULLING ALL THREE TEAMS TO HER IN ONE POWERFUL MOVE.
AND...
ANNNNND....
UNHOLY JACK!
SHE JUST DESTROYED HER OWN TEAM! THE REAPER DORM JUST COULD NOT HANDLE THE MIGHT OF A HEL SELIE AFTER BEING CORNERED BY THE MONSTERS AND UNDEAD!
Oh and here come several of your local Boogeymen, to do some non-invasive drug tests on valkyrie Hel Selie...and it looks like they took Anna Walpurgis again, just in case!

Oh! Hey! They were talking about here werewolf friend there! Apparently he'd done really well, and well they were still in this race of tugging and pulling, so onward to victory or some stuff like that!
So at the start of the gun she quickly began pulling back, not about to let the undead win just cause they couldn't feel the burn. Monsters were DEFINITELY stronger!

Olivia was very excited to here her name get mentioned over the PA system thingamagig - she didn't get the play on words though, that went right over her head (it was such a simple one too...).
It definitely was great motivation to give it her all in this last round for her team; she had an even wider stupider looking smile on her face, her shoes deeper into the mud now and her grip strong and tight on the rope. And she pulled.

This was it! The final round and the most important one. Sophie was sad to see the reapers leave, but she wanted to win even more. She focused, stretched a little - even though she had no idea what she was doing - and then pumped herself up. To hear team-mates, she gave pats on the backs and encouraging words before she grabbed a hold of the rope and began to pull.
She held on with as much strength as she could master - which was more than she had on the previous round. And finally it was just the Undead vs. the Monsters! Canon was impressed that a faction whose members were known to lose their limbs on occasion were putting up such a great fight! This was it! The last round! Igneous dug deep into the mud until she found somewhat firm footing. Wrapping her hands around the rope she waited for the signal for the tug to begin. Pull!Pull!Pull! Her footing was much better this round and the angel found herself able to lend a lot more of her strength to the rope! PULL!
