Floor 9 The idea of a Hobbit house made Cass' eyes light right up with excitement. "That would be a fantastic house, Marcus." she was bouncing (literally) as he walked, following along with him - safety (and more chances of holding hands in the zombie apocalypse) in numbers and all.
But then there was also potentially getting a house off the island which had her 'hmm'ing as well. "Well, we're going to spend more time on the island than off of it, so unless we're moving back into the dorms permanently, a sub level house might be the best place to start before we consider a house we'd spend a week in, tops, out of every month." Though weekends off the island if they could manage it? That'd be pretty nice. Not always possible, though.
Looking at the zombie down the hall, Cass sighed in unison with her husband as she handed the rifle to him and took out her own gun to fire.

Floor 9He thought she's like a hobbit house. Very cute, cozy, not to mention that the earth itself would allow the house to remain cool even in the summer saving them energy and in the event power went out a backup generator and filter could be added in to prolong their stay in said house while repairs were made and such- He was thinking too hard even at the zombie tried to taze him. Really, a hobbit house? Marcus my love you are many things but small isn't one of them.

Oh yes and I wasn't even referring to THAT part either. Good to know you've already begun filling that part in for me.

She just grinned to herself as she fired again, relaxed as she shot into another head. The zombie crumbled as she put the gun away and went back to her pyramid head drag of Nicodemus.

Floor 9 She smiled, leaning into his side. "Well, at least one of us can shoot, yeah? Definitely good at setting things off." This was about where her attitude should have gotten them eaten alive in a horror movie, oops.
Cass held up the phone she'd put into one of the pouches of her coat in answer to his question. "I went to look at mine, but it was locked with a passcode....but I kept the phone anyways because I'm curious." she shrugged. "Just think of it as making that last contact into space not be in vain. Tree falling in the forest and stuff."

"You know I was a little concerned about the lurching, ravenous figures around the office, but I suppose it's all part of your game." His phone emitted a little beeping sound, and his expression brightened. Pulling out a packet of seeds, he began to nibble at them cheerfully like a cartoon chipmunk.

Dis even laughed a bit at those lines. "I'll hang onto it then. If anything it can possibly help establish a time frame to when these guys died. Provided when we take them back home the runics don't kill them." Technology didn't live long with magic. Alas. "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it- what killed or drove everything in the forest?"

Cass smacked his hand and teasingly took a large step away from him before walking more quickly down the hall than he was. "I live on the edge! I REGRET NOTHING!" she was probably being louder and a lot less serious than she should have been, but hey. Was all good, right?
"Well, I honestly want to pry and snoop and see what happened on the phone myself.." she tapped the screen of the one she had again and sighed. "Scream in the dark and all there is left is a single message on a phone from one person who at least cared enough about your existence for that." She stopped walking to stare at the phone with a frown.
"Oh, the forest is empty because I set it on fire."
She smiled innocently before there was a sound of gunfire. Cass looked at Marcus and the shotgun, then down at Nic. "......." she looked back to her husband. "I think we better go check that out." she suggested and began to run towards the sound of the gunfire. After all, if there was a survivor up there, they'd probably be well suited to keep them a survivor.

Floor 7"Help me!" There was no mistake: this was Aria, even if she was dressed in odd clothes more suited to an office professional than division lead. Her trademark high ponytail was disheveled and drooping, clumps of it click and dark with a substance better left unknown. And yet... Would the Mist division leader be openly asking for help from clearly non-Mist hunters?Either way, she was currently wielding a fire extinguisher as a weapon. She was attempting to bash the skull of the zombie in front of her with it, using the desk she was standing on as a height advantage. However, this advantage swiftly turned into a disadvantage. The fire extinguisher was a heavy and unwieldy thing. She missed, throwing herself off-balance. The zombie was only more than happy to grab hold of her and pull her further off-balance, flinging her to the floor. "Nono nonono!" She was shrieking now, flailing and struggling to get away. As the undead's jaws came closer, she reached into her pocket and drew something out. A pin was pulled free with her teeth before the object was pointed at the thing, the button on top depressed. A loud hiss filled the room as the zombie reeled back. A sharp stench filled the room along with a burning sensation: was that pepper spray?Unfortunately it had no effect on the zombie and only served to make it angry. Quote: Why yes that is bear mace. Aria defends her love of hiking okay. :< Angry Zom HP: 20/20 Aria's HP: 24/30 Every round the zom will do 5 dmg to Aria.

Floor 9"You insane woman you-" He huffed and puffed and laughed. She was bright and making him laugh, even in a zombie infested office building place. "We'll keep the dang phones and hand them over later. As for forest fires, maybe we'll need to have a discussion about arson and Smoky the bear next time we go camping then." If they would be allowed to go camping anytime soon. Gunfire had Marcus's head snapping towards the sound. "Sounds sane enough. Run towards the guns." Always a good idea in a zombie infested place. If anything, hey, they could get a gun with some ammo maybe. Ever the optimist, my Marcus

Gale was still immensely confused as to what the hell was actually going on, but there wasn't much time to sit and question whether Aria was really Aria or whether they were in some sort of weird, paradoxical universe where nothing made sense. Instead, he swung the rifle around and pointed it at the zombie in question, gritting his teeth together.
