Rocks falling on him wasn't actually much of an improvement over getting stuck and he found himself wondering if he'd simply be wandering here forever, alone in this place where not a single soul stirred.
And then he got stuck again, the string of expleitives he spat he didn't even know the meaning of. It didn't matter, it made him feel just a little bit better as he trudged on.
When he found himself at the long bridge he ran all the way across as fast as his legs would carry him, trying to outrun the rickety nature of the crossing with sheer momentum.
Fighting again, he felt like he was back on solid ground. This he could do. It was familiar and attainable. He just had to focus as intently as he could.

There were however, a lot of the ******** things and getting them to hold still long enough to hit one was difficult. They flitted and screeched and clawed at him.

After Tsumi had parted ways with the shadows she met in battle she happened upon a new area. It wasn't unlike the rest of the world she had seen so far but hardly looked safe. However, something drew her to ascend. It just felt like something good could be up there.
Taking a step forward proved to immediately be dangerous. A rock came flying from above to smack her in the head. Tsumi stumbled back a few paces and tried to collect herself again.

Once again when Tsumi took a step forward rocks came raining down upon her. It was like something was above trying to deter her from this quest. Looking up she really couldn't see anything though. Maybe the whole structure was really just as unstable as it looked.
