She continued but soon found faces among the fog. Unfamiliar faces, but she felt a great hatred for them. Why? She could not say. Furthur and furthur she ran past them until she reached a large platform, falling to her hands and knees panting. Rest, she could rest here.
But no. Red lights streaked across the platform and figures appeared as if summoned by the light. They came at her fast and she had little time to get to her feet. Landing a glancing blow upon one.

Was she seeing red? With a growl she curled her fist up tight, punching the next figure to come close and landing a fairly decent blow. A small smirk coming to her lips as it reeled back.

Ralifa could not understand what was happening to her. What it was, why it was happening. It threatened to overwhelm her. She would have loved nothing more than to torture and dismember these figures. To make them feel pain, to make them show emotion like she did.

One of them knocked her back a few feet, she crossed her arms in front of her to deflect any other blows as the figures zipped around her. They seemed to almost glide, weaving this way and that. Solid but ethereal all in one as the moved.
She crouched down low before launching herself at one shoulder first. Smashing into it with all the weight behind her she could muster.

It was too much for her. The emotions. And so she fell into the fog. A tiny piece of her relieved as it all washed away.

Faces. All those faces dancing among the fog, and yet he could not tell who they were and why they were present. Was it an attempt to deter him, or possible draw him in? If the later then why bother since there was no turning back anyway.
The platform cracked and from it a warrior stood before him. It was not the one from last time, no. This one had an air of resolve. She would not strike with hesitation like the last.
Kieyrr glared and chose to stand his ground, that is until she chose the strike. He would run, but this time with a bit more spirit and a kick in his step. And maybe a kick to the warrior's face as well...

He was excited, it wasn't him who got that emotion. The fogs prevalent was disgusting, with eerie uneasy faces. He felt so uncomfortable. They faded away and they come back, faces after faces. Jaxa wanted to evade them and the only way was to go down, through the floating islands.
There! A large platform that he didn't worry to fall, he didn't care it's cracked or the red lights striked through underneath. He just wanted to stay away from the faces. But it said no. A humanoid fog creature carrying a sword appeared and started to attack him.

The figure said nothing, and lunged forward for another strike.

Kieyrr dodged, just barely, and moved to punch her against the back of her head. It did nothing.

Maybe he needed just a bit more determination running through his veins. He was getting hits in, but they didn't seem to do much damage. He'd have to make a note to start lifting weights at some point.
