You know, that rope would have been nice. It was much easier to get to the things head to claw at it that way. Instead, sadly, Simply had to keep leaping at the thing and tearing at it angrily. Which was barely doing anything as the beast nearly toppled her over with a step.
"Ow ow owo...." The ghoul whimpered slightly as she fell fat at that, ears pinned back as she scowled up at the thing. "Jerk."
Her next attempt proved just as fruitful. She jumped forwards ready to tear the metal appear with her bare hands, but instead was just thrown aside with ease, left to laid on the ground. It was mortifying, shameful, and all things she didn't like.
pushing herself off the ground, she proceeded to stand there and hurl insults like it. Because she was mature like that.
Oh, okay. Time to bring it. It wasn't coming for her, nope. She was going to go after it. "AHHH!!!!" She yelled as she ran towards the monstrosity and brought her elbow into it's leg. It wasn't as effective as she'd hoped it would be but it was something.
Mei was unsure if the students being swallowed whole by the Santinator, or the fact that everyone had been speaking in rhymes previously was more disturbing.

First feeling like she'd been taken over by something far too cheery, and then speaking in rhyme all the time. Now students were being eaten by yet another incarnation of... whatever the heck this was.
She had a feeling she didn't want to know what was going on here, just wanting to finish this up and head back to the festivities.
Gabby took the boils hand, as he tried to lead them both away from the fight, and he stayed where he was. "Why should we let this thing push us around? This is our school." He picked up a rock, and flung it at the monsters direction as he spoke.
Then, he turned back to give Efflo a smirk, and leaned in, pressing his forehead against his own. "Let's go kick its a** back to wherever it came from."

Why were the elves even here? What exactly was it they were up to? Having to deal with them around Christmas time was one thing, but to have to see them more than that - she hated Christmas town.

Ithi very nearly panicked when she saw students getting eaten. Shouldn't there be some sort of teachers or something to keep them safe?! Roaring with rage Ithi swung her tail at the boss, hoping to do at least a bit more than annoy it this time...
...sadly, she still wasn't that lucky. Man, this fighting stuff was just not her forte.

Efflo stared as Gabby grabbed his hand, watching in horror as the giant monster ate on of his friends. His mouth hung open in shock, he wasn’t sure whether to scream or run or dive headlong back into battle.
Luckily Gabby made the decision for him, and he nodded at his boilfriend, briefly brushing his hand against the dragon’s cool cheek. Then, without waiting, he dashed into the fray. Olivia was his friend, one of very few, and Efflo would be damned if this thing was going to get away with eating her.
“Olivia!” he cried out, charging straight at the Santitanator, his glowworms bristling with fear, anticipating the attack. Their glow illuminated him in the darkness; at least, it did, until an enormous hand swooped down without warning, sweeping the boil from the ground and into the creature’s mouth. In an instant the pale green light was gone, snuffed out.
