Lunaris remained by the fire, quietly resting.
Hours later, Cypher padded back into the cave, two small ear pieces dangling from his mouth via cords.

Smith opened his eyes having heard Cypher's amazingly loud steps into the cave, mostlikely due to pride in his work. "What do you have there Cypher?" Smith was acting calm, shocking really, but not out of the question, a Tala can't be mad all the time, can he?

Cypher padded over to Smith and gently laid the ear pieces in front of him.
"I made 'em! From some guy's headphone things."
The pup sat, pointing at the devices while he talked.
"They can talk to each other, like walkie talkies. So you could put one on someone and wear one yourself and give them orders over a large distance!"
Cypher's tail started to wag, the pup indeed proud of his work.
Lunaris meanwhile, was asleep by the fire, recovering.

"AAAAIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE," shrieked a big pink blur as it hurled itself through the air at the water. Striking the river, the ball took on a purplish hue as it submerged, splashing water in all directions. A few seconds passed before the creature emerged from the water and, standing on the bank, shook some loose droplets from her bright pink fur.A purple figure dragging a bright red bow approached the dripping Talaye. "What the hell are you doing now?" The second female sat on her haunches and smacked a paw to her face. "You have the common sense of a dead leaf."Pinkie just shook her fur again, splashing the other female with airborn water droplets. "Water is fun," she snorted."I hate you sometimes," the purple one snarled and wiped her face with the back of a paw.

"Good work Cypher. Hand it over." Smith got up and snagged one of the ear pieces from Cypher putting it in his ear. "Not bad."
Just then, a screech and splash were heard from the outside of the cave, Smith tensed up immidiately and barked out orders once more "CYPHER! GO CHECK OUT THAT ANNOYANCE THIS INSTANT!"

Cypher grinned from ear to ear, happy to have made his master proud. The disturbance from outside and Smith's immediate response wiped the grin right off his face though.
"Yes sir!"
Scrambling, the pup quickly went outside, breaking through the waterfall and landing outside on the bank.

The purple Talaye eyeballed the newcomer with a vague surprise. Had she been the pink one, she would have entertained the notion that the pup had apparated out of the water and would question its solidity. However, she was the smart one and wondered what sort of cave or hollow the waterfall held. With her green eyes trained on the pup, she spoke not a word, feeling him out.
"OMG!!!!!OMGOMGOMG!!!!!!" The pink female bounced in surprise. "Hello, little guy. What's your name, cutie? I love pups; they're adorable!!!!" She giggled and continued squealing about how cute he appeared to her with his little sunglasses.
With a smirk and an eyeroll, the purple female fantasized the many different ways she could bap her sister. "Stop being a ninny and let the furball speak."

Smith once again heard a screech and a lot of yelling...this bothered him. Either Cypher was in trouble or there was something very annoying outside that cave archway. Did he really want to go out and look for himself? No. Not really. But for once curiosity got the best of him and he slowly made his way outside the cave.

Cypher simply stared for a moment, the squealing of the pink Tala throwing him into shock.
"I...er....."
Shaking it off, the little pup tried to puff himself up to look more imtimidating.
"My name is Cypher....and just what the hell do you two think you're doing here?! You can't just go running around in other people's homes!"

The purple female looked down at the pup, ignoring his agitation, preferring herself to stay calm and collected. "I'd love to say it's a pleasure to meet you, but sadly I refuse to be dishonest. I am Belladonna; the knucklehead acting like an idiot is my companion and adopted sister of sorts Amaranta."
"Call me Ama! It's short! Can I call you Cyphie? Or Cy? Or PHER! LIKE FUR! Whoooooo! I'm gonna call you furhead!" The pink one plopped onto her haunches, looking very pleased with herself.
Bella frowned and continued. "This is your home? A hollow behind the falls, maybe? Do you live alone, or with family?"

Smith having heard the introductions stayed back from the small crowd, he glared at the two adults who were tresspassing on his land. He wouldn't have this, Smith liked his space and his privacy. He made a loud growl in the direction of the new comers and hoped they would just leave him alone.

"No you can't call me furhead!!"
Cypher growled at Ama, small body tensing.
"My name is Cypher, and that is what you'll call me!"
That taken care of, Cypher focused his gaze on Bella. At least she was a bit more intelligent.
"I live with someone, and he isn't going to be too happy to fin---"
The warning was cut a bit short by Smith's loud growl. Ears flattening, the pup scrambled back to his master's side.
"I'm trying to get them to leave sir..."

Bella watched the pup scamper away toward the growl. This was definitely a strange place to have happened upon. She turned her head toward Ama and glared. "You need to chill out before you insult someone."
Ama's green eyes teared. "I just want to be friends!!!"
"But you need to learn some reservation. Not everyone is crazed, hyper, or touchy-feely."
"Fine..." Ama sighed and flopped down, resting her chin on her paws.
Bella stayed in her sitting position, muscles tensed. She wanted to be ready in case the cause of the growl meant them harm.

Smith looked down at Cypher and shook his head. "You let them get this far in without doing something, you were outside that whole time, you didn't hear them coming?"
His attention quickly went back to the purple and pink Tala infront of him, "What are you doing here and what do you want?" He was sturn with his tone, but not overly mean. If he could get them to join him he would accept them in, otherwise he would get them off his land as soon as possible.

The pup seemed to cower in his master's shadow. Mere moments before he was getting praise on a job well done, and these two just had to come along and screw that up for him. Great...he'd probably have to impress Smith all over again to get that praise now...
