*Shortstraw nodded and hugged her, "but we're not going to give up or given in no matter what happens keria... We were working hard, and both of us were so ready for this... and i dont think we sould give in." He hugged her tight into himself. He then whsipered out as if talking to someone else, "if this is your idea of a joke, or a sign, then i have you know that your wrong. Keria and I can do this and we will." He hugged keria tighter before loosing a bit and kissing her cheek, "we may have failed this time keira. Our chance was taken. This is sad for both of us, but we cant give in... we're take a small break for a while. Easy or heads and try again..." he started rocking her, "we're try again." he whsipered as he closed his eyes.
Meanwhile Soflora looked down sadly, "i would understand. Everything comes crashing down when somthing like that happens..." everyone had there hopes up this time.

Kiera slowly nodded and hugged him tighter. "Okay.." She felt smothered by him however didn't care as she shut her eyes tight. "We can try again." She replied hopefully. He was right, with how good things were going, she couldn't let this bring it all down now. Sure she was going to be a bit slower for a while. But that was understandable. And her and Shortstraw would try again. She calmed a little, but sniffed. "Just another bump in the road.." She repeated to herself. She then looked up to Shortstraw with large eyes, stained with tears. "You're allowed to cry, Shortstraw..."

*He looked too her and gave a long breath, "no." he whispered, "i promesed that if i was to become a father that i would act like one. I need to be a real man, strong and supportive. I can't cry, else that would show that I not ready. And i am." He kissed her, "just one of those promeses i made to myself... i seem to mae alotof promeses alot huh." he gave a slight chukkled. "Come on, we need to get off this floor." He replied trying to be as possitive as he could, though it was even harder after he saw her eyes like that.

Kiera looked to him sadly. "Crying doesn't make you any less of a man, Shortstraw. Nor any less supportive or strong." She shut her eyes as she nodded. "But all right." She looked as if she would cry again but kept it in as she unwrapped herself from him and attempted to stand up. She didn't have the strength for it at the moment. She slumped again and stared at the floor. "Can you.. tell Veira to come so that.. I can.. you know.. get it out." She broke up a little at the end.

*He stood up and hugged her as he closed his eyes. "i'll be here with you..." He said weakly as veria came in with a sad expression, she held open the door but the relized it would be hard for her pashaint to walk anywheres so she adventauly came over and took both there arms as they teliported into the cave, and she held keria lay down. But shortstraw sat next to the table on his knees and held her hand, putting his forhead on her shoulder to keep himself form crying. Veria then held a vile out for keria, "drink this, and i'll take care of the rest." She whispered in a low sad tone.

About a month later after Kiera's miscarriage she was sat in the office going over some paperwork as per usual. Or rather, what had become usual. Now she woke up before everyone else. Which was something completely unfathomable to Evelyn. It took a toll on Kiera for a little but she soon got into the swing of it. Since the incident Kiera had tried her best to carry on without any slip ups. Every now and then she'd stare sadly at one spot but she carried on otherwise. She had plenty of thoughts, which she kept to herself. And she focused more on the upkeep of the kingdom. Sitting there by herself, she checked the time and saw that she probably missed dinner. That happened sometimes now. She never meant to. She enjoyed dinner with everyone. And then she reminded herself for the nth time that she should get a schedule of when she should do work. Kiera slowly made her way out of the office and as she walked into the living room she saw it was dark outside, and Dante was watching Tv with Soflora. "You missed pizza sis." Dante said, slightly engrossed in the Tv. "I'll eat leftovers." Kiera trailed into the kitchen in search of food. She hadn't realised it. But Evelyn certainly did. Kiera showed a lot more resemblance to Eve now. Evelyn sat on the table in the kitchen in her cat form and eyed Kiera as she checked the empty boxes of pizza then looked through the fridge. "Have you eaten today?" Kiera sighed. "I long for the day when you won't care about my weight."

*Shortstraw stepped into the kitchen and leaned ont he doorframe, "maybe becuse you are getting too skinny again. Seroulsy, i understand you ahve to work keria, but you have to eat too. Donte and I have been running aorund doing the foot work, but we at least eat, your just getting by." He walked over to her and smiled, "i want you too... take a break tonight. Maybe even tommorow." Shortstraw also noticed keria was alot like eve, it wasn't too much they were together, other then when they met at night to sleep, but keria, as supprizing as it was, was always up and gone halfway through even that. It troubled him, but he know he couldn't argu with it. meanwhile Fu came around the corner of the living room and watched in silence. Almost as if he wasn't there. He looked to evelyn, wondering what she might say to him if these two left and headed up stairs like shortstraw was planning... well after he made sure keria ate.*

Kiera ended up not finding anything of worth in the fridge and shut it, before scratching her head. "I have a couple of things I wanted to finish by tomorrow.. but all right. I guess I can.. finish them some other time." She turned to Shortstraw with a smile. "And you know I just forget to eat now. I don't mean to miss meals like I do." She stretched and yawned. "I'd eat more if there was less work to be done." She chuckled a little. Evelyn's eyes thinned at Kiera as she watched her scavenge for some food and then walk out of the room with Shortstraw. It was like Kiera had completely switched her normal habits voluntarily, and Evelyn didn't know why. Evelyn then straightened herself up as she stared out the door. "This is what Eve was worrying about." She gave her verdict.

*Shortstraw led keria up stairs, "i think it's time for a little break. We havn't had much us time latly... and... i dont know about you but i think we deserve some us time." He chukkled as he led her into the room, put a sock on the door and then closed it before turning around, "serouslly though start eating or i'll have veria make it so you are just like last time." He smerked and gave a evil laugh before tickiling her.
Meanwhile Fu nodded, "yep." He walked over to the table and sat down, "but at least keria has shortstraw and donte doing the running around. Eve has always done that by herself. And most of the time when she does ask for help it's blone back in her face and she has to fix it all still. The biggest thing about ever though, is her past with train, and her desire to have love. Those to things crush her the most. SO keria is actully better off then eve was. Still this is exacly what eve ment." he leaned back, "sorta wonder where eve went off too."

Kiera winced but couldn't help but giggle as he tickled her. "You dare.. I'll set Mai on you." She chuckled again. "Then again he'll just lick you to death." She sighed. "I'm sorry I know I've been caught up in work a lot. There's always so much of it and.. I don't like seeing it stack up." She smiled to him. "But you're right. We've been doing a lot of work and we deserve some us time."
Evelyn groaned. "I didn't stick around to hear some sob story about Eve. I've heard them all off Kiera already. I don't really care how better off Kiera is than Eve ever was." Evelyn never really liked Eve anyway. Partly because she had the shortened version of Evelyn's name. But that was just a small personal bitterness. She hopped off the table. "Besides, Kiera doesn't really seem to mind it. She misses Eve dearly. But knows not to look for her. She'll respect that." Evelyn strutted out of the room. "It's just another one of those things. The tragic story that is this family."

*Shortstraw nodded and gave her a big warm hug, "good that you agree... i havn't been able to spend time with me sexy lady in a while."
Meanwhile fu nodded, "yep. And things still continue to go on. Keep and eye on then Evelyn, things will be picking up soon i think." He smerked and suddenly dissapeared.

Kiera chuckled and took his face in her hands warmly. "Likewise. You know we never did go on our honeymoon in the end. That would have been nice..." She shrugged then kissed him softly. "But that doesn't matter. Any place where we're together is good enough for me." She smiled.
Evelyn made her way into the living room and saw that Dante and Soflora were still awake. "Come on you two. Shouldn't you be in bed by now?" Dante whined. "The movie is about to end.." Evelyn snickered. "Yeah you've tried to pull that on me before Dante. Bed." Dante huffed but turned off the Tv and took Soflora's hand to go upstairs. Evelyn liked the feeling of authority in the castle.

*Soflora with donte ever step of the way latly, infact she was involved in whatever he was, she stayed with him alot, and hardly ever were they seprated. Though in truth soflora was starting to show alittle fear to evelyn.
Meanwhile shortstraw kiss her again, "we can always go on a honeymoon later." He smerked, "besides it's just like you said as long as were together it dosn't matter where we are. Your still my sexy lady." He chukkled and started to rub his hands on her sides to try to get her more into the moment.

Kiera sighed and wrapped her arms over his shoulders. "Do you think we'd have to wait until Eve gets back to go somewhere? Assuming she does come back. And assuming she still wouldn't want to give me the throne." She moved her face to his neck. "And don't call me your sexy lady that's kinda degrading." She licked his neck teasingly. "After all I'm the one in power here~"
Evelyn quickly went to go sit on Kiiro's lap in the living room after Dante and Soflora were gone. "Looks like I'm staying with you tonight." Kiiro giggled a little. "Does this mean miss Kiera and mister Shortstraw are better now?" Evelyn shrugged. "Well I wouldn't say that. But you know-" Evelyn didn't finish what she was about to say.

*Shortstraw chukkled, "oh? So just becus eyou got the power you think your not my sexy lady?" He smerked, "that means i'll just have to called evelyn my sexy lady just to make you jelious and come begging back." He chukkled and felt her up alittle more as he whispered, "when eve gets back we will worry about when eve gets back... what i'm worry about is if your ready again?" He replied as he messed with her as he kissed her more now.
((notice evelyn is always in there sex talk XDDD lol))
Meanwhile as soflora and donte went up in the room and both were in bed soflora asked, "donte... i'm scard of evelyn and kirro... is that wrong?" She asked in a whisper facing away from him in the still dimmness of the room.
