((I'm sorry Viper. ^^; Your character's a shark so I kind of picture her biting someone if they make her too mad or something. Figuring that even though they're friends Ratchet has had a few close calls, but is still brave enough to approach and save her, if her treasure-hunger gets too dangerous or if she's about to be hurt by a trap. lol xD Man you people and your D&D, I've never table topped, so all of that lingo flies over my head. sweatdrop ))

"Hmmm?" looking up he blushed a bit. "O-Oh yeah I'm fine. Sorry I just got lost in thought for a second there. Sooo..."

Looking down at her bump he shook his head. Mizzen's was bigger by far, but Tear's was almost as large. "How many are you having?" he asked a bit intimidated by it's size.

Ratchet looked a bit surprised. "Wait..a relic knocked you up?" he asked looking at her stomach. He had read that elves usually carried multiples during their pregnancies, but seven? Tear didn't seem to happy about it, yet maybe she did.

"How did it happen? Was it sudden or start off slow?" he said facinated now. If a relic had filled her with life, then the history behind it all might unlock some facinating secrets on the races and how they had offspring. He looked at her with curiosity and asked something no one would expect to hear him say.

"You don't mind if I touch your stomach do you?" he asked. Hell just froze over.

"Facinating.." he replies his hands now rubbing her exposed belly. Bending down he began to look if there were any patterns upon her stomach or anything. Feeling the little ones kicked he smiled. "Did you notice any strange patterns upon you after you touched the relic Tear?" he asked looking up at her.

"Amazing..so the relic you have caused this! Maybe there's lost magic that we don't know about! What if those relics are keys to unlocking a very important mystery! What if--oh hey little one..I didn't see you kicking there! Man you've got a strong kick haven't you? Don't tire the woman carrying you out too much." he said smiling a bit. Blushing he looked away. Ratchet was blowing his cover, of course if Miz was paying any attention, she'd probably want a full belly massage from him later. He hoped she was still too engorged in her maps to notice.

Cuping his hands around the sides of her belly he felt how firm and soft it was. Mizzen's was slick and smooth, while Tears was more fleshy and soft like a normal pregnant woman's was.

"Well here feel! This child is kicking like crazy." he stated gently taking her hand and placing it upon the spot where Ratchet felt kicking. Standing he shook his head.

"Truely amazing. I may have to study these relic things too. I didn't see any odd patterns or anything on your stomach though there are not stretchmarks either." he chuckled lightly pulling down her blouse over her belly. Giving it a pat he crossed his arms.

"I'm sorry I hope I haven't awakened whatever was inside of you. Yet once this lecture is over with I can dig something up in the mess hall if you're hungry Tear. I'm also curious, most of the time Dwarves aren't acustomed to Elves, but your father's a Dwarf? I have to say you are one facinating person. I wouldn't mind talking to you more, and I wouldn't mind becoming your friend either. If that's fine with you." he said with a kind smile. At least she would be interesting to listen to and give him another person to chat with. Mizzen had gotten so busy after she became pregnant, if she ever made captain, Ratchet probably wouldn't see much of her at all. He missed their late night chats, following by late night swims because the silly girl would just push him overboard spontaniously.

He wondered what it would be like having a Dwarf for a father. There would probably be a lot of yelling, cursing, and drinking involved. He had met a few dwarves, friendly folks. Ratchet actually liked their company more than his own race sometimes.

"The way you speak about him, he probably is very proud of you. So can you blacksmith and such? I'm afraid I don't know much about Dwarven culture. I wouldn't mind a lesson if you're willing to teach me a little. Just hearing of an elf living with Dwarves is facinating in itself." he said happily, more interested about hearing more of her story. Ratchet loved stories.

Merlia woke up after an hour and looked around. She realizied that she was laying against Lahire and noticed that his hand was resting on her swollen abdomen. She put the mirror in her bag once more and started to feel useless again. There was noting much she could do except sing and a few other things she was not even sure if she could fight or not.

Lahire was resigned to wait around and protect Merlia. He kept himself amused by his thoughts, surprised that he didn't cause a stir with his new presence. He thought about what Merlia said about a baby, quite lost by the concept of pregnancy. Perhaps he'd ask her about it. Well, she was waking up, yet didn't say anything to him. Why was she so quiet lately? He knew her to be so full of life...

"Merlia, if I may ask, why are we here? Can't we go home now?" He asked his summoner. Surely if she just gave him the order, he could get them out of here. Question was, how do they get back to land? "Do you have a room? Everyone looks like they are heading elsewhere."
