Dragon winced when Elisia groaned about him living under a mountain. He looked at Tahlia then looked down at the ground at at his slightly shifting feet. It's not like he wanted to be like this. He was suddenly in an entirely unknown world in a matter of seconds, he didn't have a clue what most things were.
The young man visibly stiffened when he heard Elisia talk about the succubi's routine of sex. He didn't know much, but he definitely knew what that was at least associated with. "S-Sex?" he whimpered, the small amounts of blood in his body all rushing to his cheeks. "Th-There are people that do that a lot??" He looked back at Tahlia when she suggested for him to sit down then looked at the couch, He was beginning to feel light-headed again. Nodding briefly, he lowered back onto the couch and sat down, still blushing at the thought of perverts running around.

The elder woman then started that gentle brushing of her fingers through Dragon's hair so as to be comforting. It was cute how easily flustered he got over such a small topic.

Glancing briefly at her younger brother, she flashed a mischievous smile at Dragon. "How old are you even? My mother says you're young, but young can be from infancy to your early thirties."
xxxxx"She's such a rude child. I apologize for her since she won't do it," Tahlia sighed while continuing with her fingerbrushing of the boy's hair. He was such a cute kid.

The blush on his face deepened when he was told that blood was a turn on to a certain species. He wasn't completely sure what that meant, but it sounded awfully dirty! He was close to having a nosebleed when he heard the question concerning his age. Dragon hesitantly looked at Elisia then at Tahlia for guidance. After a moment he slowly looked back at Elisia and laced his fingers together nervously. "I-I'm only one." he confessed and looked down at his twiddling thumbs before seeing her reaction. "A-About half a year ago someone cursed me to b-become seventeen." He wondered what Elisia and Talhia were thinking. Would they even believe him? Did they think he was too dizzy to make sense? He'd prefer the latter.

Did she ever show much expression other than that of calm? It was then that the young male responded and made the younger of the two women stare at him in shock. Was he serious? He couldn't be...

I'm going to have a headache by the time I actually figure this out," the younger vampiress attempted to start clarifying, but only ended up at a loss for words. This was far too difficult for her to comprehend. There couldn't be such a curse, could there? That'd be like the curse of being a vampire or a faerie. "I'm just going to-."
xxxxx"I believe it. There was something off about you and now I see that a curse was more than likely that issue. I don't get why they'd place such a curse on you of all people though. You're far too sweet and loving to be cursed," Tahlia murmured softly with a hint of a somewhat sad sigh. She then gave a slight shrug as if it was no big deal before continuing on with playing with Dragon's hair. She'd always liked dark hair which was what had attracted her to her husband to begin with, but her light hair was all she'd gotten from her parents. Lurtz had inherited that, but ever since he was changed into a vampire he could get darker hair as if his vampire genetics didn't quite sit well with his elven genetics. "If you ever want to be rid of said curse, you'd have to find the person who placed the curse upon you to remove it. Or you could kill the caster in which the curse would automatically be removed. Then you could also look for a powerful witch or wizard or even an ancient sorcerer to remove it from you. Either way, you'll be stuck going through a lot of stress just to have it removed. I was an elf so magic, no matter how dark or bright, old or new, has a certain zing that the fae can pick up on via taste or scent."

A bitter sadness came across Dragon's face when he heard Elisia's explanation, although his gaze stayed against his thumbs. He knew it. He just knew no one would believe him. It wasn't like he could even prove his point, so all he could do was look like a crazy freak.
Suddenly a set of fingers ran through his hair and a soothing voice followed. He blinked and slowly lifted his still flaming eyes up to Tahlia, giving her a surprised look. She believed him? A tiny smile came onto his face when she played with his hair, but it was created from the sheer joy of not being doubted. He wanted to hug her or at least say something, but his thoughts were quick to scramble to the person that caused him to be this way to begin with. "I don't really remember what he looked like." he admitted. "Even if I did, I... think I'd rather stay like this. I wouldn't be able to help Lurtz or learn all the nice things you two will teach me. It's not like my parents would bother taking care of me as a child, anyway." he mumbled the last part under his breath before returning his gaze to Tahlia. "You can sense all sorts of magic?" he asked almost incredulously.

I can see why Lurtz enjoys your presence," Tahlia cooed while gently hugging the boy in her arms. He was just like her pet wolf, Diego, only with a human form. Well, she could always off his parents and take him under her wing. He'd probably make a better child than the other twelve kids she had were and he could probably make her proud of something. "I can indeed. So can Lurtz, but he won't mention it aloud after all the beatings it took from his dad just to get him to stop saying 'the probability of that happening is less than zero percent' or 'that is completely irrational and illogical'. No idea where his brains come from. Were you capable of bonding with all types of dragons or have you only been exposed to just the one dragon? Just out of curiosity that is."

Dragon blushed but smiled at the hug. He had received such things very rarely, he forgot how warm and comforting hugs were. He hugged her back as she spoke but tensed when she asked him about dragons. Was that magic still strong over him? His expression softened to an mixture of melancholy and grief as he slid out of her arms.
"Just one." he answered. "A week after I was born my cousins made fun of my name by making an actual dragon follow me around. It kind of backfired because that dragon became my best friend. I took her everywhere with me, and she was stuck with the aging curse with me, so our bond only grew." A bitter smile showed on his face and the melancholy overtook his downcast golden eyes. "But my dad - my real dad - killed her. He tried to kill me but she got in front of me and took the blow. I never saw my dad after that, and I'm glad. I don't think I'd ever be able to stand looking at such an awful person." His speech cut short at the end and his breathing became uneven. "I don't... understand... why anyone would... would do that." he whimpered, struggling hard to keep his tears from falling. The memories he had with his pet were the only happy ones he had. Even when everyone thought he was a freak she would stay and try to cheer him up. He could fly on her back and touch the clouds when he wanted to. She was his faithful friend, from birth to death.
Alas, Fate enjoyed seeing Dragon alone, and his pet was in the way of that.

It was just so sad hearing such a good boy like him had to suffer so much since he was born. Oh... This was one of those hypocritical situations wasn't it? Eh. She couldn't change Lurtz's childhood, but she could still help change his. This boy didn't deserve such negativity. "Aw. You poor, sweet child. Elisia, I'm leaving it to you to find this kid's real dad and kill him slowly. Very slowly. I want him to suffer a lot for as long as you can make it last," Tahlia responded in a slight pout while giving her daughter a brief icy glare from the corner of her eye. Gently brushing her fingers through Dragon's hair and placing a kiss upon his cheek. "Feel free to let it out, dearie. We won't judge you here. It's better to let it out. I'm sorry for bringing up such a sad topic."
xxxxx"Fine, but I can't make any promises on finding the man quickly what with the lessons I'll be giving this twerp and my own life to live," Elisia grumbled lightly while stretching her legs out in front of her. Huh... She could've sworn it'd only been an hour or so, but apparently it had actually been longer. The sun must already be out by now. Odd how talking and dealing with people made time pass by so much quicker.

Dragon closed his eyes and hugged Tahlia back, letting out his tears. His emotions poured out, but he still tried to restrain himself from waking Lurtz up or staining Tahlia's clothes. His cries lasted for several minutes, and as the sadness dried up, he felt a sense of nostalgia. He remembered crying to Lurtz about being alone, that was the first time he ever confided in anyone. Just like then, he could feel such a lighter weight on his shoulders now. It was so much easier to breath now that all that bottled up sadness was drained.
"I... It's okay." Dragon sniffed and leaned away from Tahlia, wiping his eyes with his forearm. "You didn't know." he said and glanced over at Elisia. Noticing her gaze elsewhere, he followed it to see how dark it had gotten. "Oh... What time is it?" he sniffed.

Feel free to wake Lurtz, ma," Elisia answered while finally shifting her gaze back over to Dragon. She then reached over briefly to wipe the tear streaks away from Dragon's face, a flicker of a gentle smile passing over her face. This was followed by an audible slap to which Lurtz sat up and shifted his gaze around the room. As he noted his mother still leaning over the back of the couch and his sister sitting on the couch near Dragon, his ice blue eyes briefly shifted towards the coffee table as his hand lightly ruffled Dragon's hair.
xxxxx"I'm up," he rumbled while briefly rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Once happy with how clear the room was, his arm reached around Dragon and slapped his sister on the arm. "Put away all the books you dragged out, Elisia. I don't make a mess of your home and I expect the same common courtesy from you in my home. How are you, Lord Dragon?" At his question to Dragon, a gentle, apologetic smile passed over his lips ever so briefly. How the dark haired male hadn't wanted to put some severe space between them he wasn't really sure, but part of him was glad that he hadn't run off after having seen how badly bloodlust could affect his behavior.
xxxxxElisia stuck out her tongue and slapped Lurtz upside the head only to stand up and start collecting the sketchpads. "Vallyne, your hair needs some better cutting. Think you can sit on the floor long enough for me to fix the damage your father did to your hair?" Tahlia breathed out in that slightly less gentle tone she'd been using for Dragon's comfort. At hearing his codename, Lurtz brushed his hand through his hair and briefly shook his head. "I'll deal with it, mother. There's no need for you to have to waste your time dealing with a bad haircut. Father just helped speed up what I already intended to do." "Alright. You need to teach this boy more about the world though." "Already in place on my scheduling."

Dragon turned around just as Elisia reached out and brushed away some tears on his face. He pursed his lips and blushed slightly until he heard a slapping noise that made him jump. Before he could turn to see what happened, a hand fell on his head and ruffled his hair. Dragon blinked and turned, smiling brightly when he saw Lurtz awake. "I'm fine. I got to talk to your mom and your sister. They're really nice." he smiled before giving him a concerned look. "Did you sleep okay? I hope we weren't too loud." He glanced over at Tahlia when she insisted on cutting Lurtz's hair and looked over at the other male when he declined the offer.

And Elisia wasn't being nice, mon ami. She was phishing for weaknesses you have while also trying to get rid of the neutrality of the apartment. Now that she knows you're close to me, you're going to be a target of my eleven sisters in an attempt to break me. The only reason she is being at least semi-nice and not brandishing her weapon right now is 'cause my mother is here and will shoot her in the neck with her crossbow if she does attack me a day or so after I've been reset. This is about as far as their kindness extends," Lurtz responded in that low rumble that seemed to lack emotion as he had spoken in when they first met. He then used his index fingers to make himself smile at the younger male, his fangs no longer visible when he spoke. "You should work on rebuilding your strength though considering how much blood I've taken from you in twenty-four hours. I'd hate to be the one who killed you."
xxxxx"Eh? That's as far as it extends to you brats perhaps, but this little sweetie pie can ask me for anything and I'd get it for him. He's already less of a disappointment than the twelve ungrateful leeches I gave birth to," Tahlia retorted with a slight pout. She then gently wrapped her arms back around Dragon and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Elisia had given a slight snort whereas Lurtz's jaw drew taut, his eye twitching slightly at her words yet he never uttered a word that disagreed with her. As if pretending he hadn't just been called an ungrateful child by his own mother, he stood up and stretched from having been curled up on the couch without so much as twitching for several hours. Ignoring the audible pops coming from his joints, he finally held a hand down to Dragon with a flicker of a half-smile passing over his face. "Would you like to learn how to make a milkshake from scratch?"

Dragon's smile faltered a little when Lurtz explained his sister's true methods. "Oh..." he murmured and glanced down for a moment before looking back up with his chipper smile. "I don't think that's completely true, I think some of that kindness was authentic." he insisted before hearing Tahlia. He laughed lightly, almost giggled, at the kiss on his cheek and hugged her back. When Lurtz offered to teach him how to make a milkshake, he instantly turned to look at the other male and eagerly took his hand. "That'd be great!" he gushed as he hoisted himself up on his feet.

You can't have any kid better than a child genius," Tahlia almost seemed to pout while tapping her fingers against the back of the couch. Lurtz just seemed to ignore that comment while gently taking Dragon's hand in his own and walking him into the kitchen. Holding up a finger slightly to the dark haired boy, the light blue haired male removed a stool from the pantry and patted it gently as if beckoning the boy to sit down on it. He didn't want to overly stress the boy out by remaining standing after all.
xxxxx"The only authenticity you'll ever get from my family is if it's negative comments or how my mother is speaking of you. I'm not like them, however, so everything I tell you is authentic. No, Elisia. I'm not singing while I teach him to make a milkshake. I can't exactly sing your songs while talking to him. If you want singing, do it yourself," Lurtz stated ever so calmly in that same partly hollow rumble that was his far more obedient side. His sister pouted slightly, but did as he'd suggested by starting up a small stereo in the corner of the room and singing along with the tunes coming from it. "Alrighty then. In order to make a milkshake, the first thing you need to do is make ice cream. In order to make ice cream, well there are various ways of making ice cream. Anyhoo, the method I use more often than not requires the use of one cup of milk, a tablespoon of sugar, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract, a tablespoon of cocoa powder if you want chocolate ice cream, four-to-six tablespoons of salt, ice and a small bit of butter. Other flavored syrups can be put into it if you want a different flavor also... The ice and salt will be mixed into this large bowl and the other ingredients will be in this smaller bowl. The smaller bowl will go on top of the ice and salt in the larger bowl and the ingredients mixed together very thoroughly so the heat built will be replaced by the cold of the ice in this bowl. After a bit of stirring, the rest of the ingredients will thicken into ice cream. Then you can just throw the ice cream into the blender over here along with a little bit of milk and slowly go down the line of blending, pureeing and whatnot until the milk and ice cream are well-mixed into being that of a thick yet soupy milkshake. Would you like to try making it yourself? I'll still be here to help, of course, but I figured you'd like to learn how to do things on your own so you're not always dependent on others. You seem like that's what you'd like to do and I just want to help since we are friends after all."

After hearing the explanation, Dragon nodded and got off the stool. He wobbled after a moment and had to grip Lurtz's arm, but managed to steady himself and walked to the counter. "Okay, so... ice cream..." he mumbled and got the ingredients out that Lurtz mentioned. He poured some ice into a bowl - frowning when a few ice cubes bounced out and onto the counter - and sprinkled what he assumed was enough salt. After that he started adding the other ingredients into the other bowl.
It took some time, and Dragon had to ask Lurtz to repeat a few steps every now and then, but he had finally made the ice cream, or at least something that resembled it. "I did it." he breathed after gazing at the bowl and looked over at the blue-haired man for approval. "I actually made ice cream!"
