With a lit cigarette hanging from his lips, Shinta observed the spar between the two gods. He took a drag and exhaled without removing it. A grin widened across his expression as he felt another urge to let off some steam. This time with some seriousness. His gaze scanned the individuals within the stadium. His azure orbs fixed themselved on somebody he was familiar with. Without hesitation he called to Uki, "Yo! Uki-san!" He then began making his way to him. "How would you like a sparring match?" He asked him with his lips still curved and a determination in his eyes. He had no intention of accepting rejection.

She nods to him in respect.
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you Uki, I'm Alestial. If it's not to much to say, I don't see why you have to live up to Thanatos legacy, just create your own. You are both completely different between and you should strive to live your own life and forget about your brother."
She smiles and looks to Shinta as he walks up to Uki.
"I'll let you be, look for me if you want to talk ok. Good luck."
She gets up and starts walking closer towards the arena.
As Sky-dron catches the rock on his finger he can't help but close his eyes in a bit of a sneer as his lips curl upwards. "What happened to starting when the rock hit the ground?" He wouldn't really get an answer to his question as the rock was now speeding towards him causing him to open his eyes as he watches it near him preparing himself to defend against the opening pebble. Having it disintegrate into a fine dust powder wasn't something he was expecting but given the high velocity it was traveling at and its original size it was something that made sense.
He smirks as he moves his hand up sending out a small shockwave which would no doubt disperse the dust cloud before him now revealing the six light powered bullets streaking towards him. He closes his eyes once more as he smirks now opening them back up as the first light bullet nears its target. He brings his cloak up as it explodes the light shards tearing into his cloak as the other five now reach him as well doing the exact same thing as more tatters of his cloak fly off. If one was truly listening they could hear the small screams of the darkness as it was ripped apart by the light. When all was settled his cloak would fall to the ground in shreds as he was no where to be found within it.
He now hovers up above in the air as he takes his one hand back through the air trails of darkness following his fingers as he spreads them apart once his hand is at the side of his head as he then swipes it forward the same trails once more following suit as he unleashes five waves of darkness down towards Sky=dron as he closes his hand once it finishes its motion the waves bending forward as they form blade-like arcs as they streak through the air about as fast as Sky-dron's light bullets heading down towards him at different angles making dodging a bit more difficult. "I see you've learned a thing or two since our last bout."
(It's alright. Hope everyone gets to feeling better from the holiday sickness. Twas' the season for giving.)

His smirk grew into a chuckle then, and he eyed the floating Darkness user. " I really shouldn't complain... after all it's what makes fighting you so fun." He raised an eyebrow as Thanatos then retaliated with an attack of his own from his position above the ground. "Trying to make me bring him out eh..." Very few would know what 'him' was referring too, but the fact that Sky-dron was hesitant about doing so could not be a good thing.
Rather than attempting to defend against all the attacks, Sky-dron chose to dodge... which he did so by launching himself sideways. Launching his body physically sideways Sky-dron would rotate his body in a quick spinning motion, light energy beginning to trail off. The overall effect would make him look like a spinning vortex of light energy.
His sideways dodge was effective, to an extent. As he had simply moved sideways by tossing himself bodily, he had essentially allowed himself to be struck by whichever of the darkness blades came nearest to him. As such, he was still struck by two of the darkness blades, though the trailing light energy functioned quite like a shield, deflecting the first one to send it spinning off into the arena wall. The second one would strike harder than the first, disrupting the light energy that trailed from Sky-don's body, as well as producing a faint singed smell. The others would simply hit the spot where he had been, searing into the ground with vicious streaks.
Sky-dron would hit the ground then, performing a shoulder roll to end in a crouched position as the light energy stopped trailing from his body and moved to gather in his open hand. He rose to his feet then, eying the floating Thanatos with a chuckle, a rather large singed area on the side of his long jacket would be present. "Since you want to play that way..." He brought his hand up and forward then, sending another half dozen orbs of light spiraling up towards Thanatos with the same speed as before... though his aim would appear to be slightly off. The orbs were aimed at Thanatos, but several would easily pass by on the side. Thanatos would have no problem dodging them if he so desired. Sky-dron then brought his other hand up and forward, beginning to use both to send orbs of light spiraling towards Thanatos in much the same manner as the first half dozen. He would continue this until 50 orbs light orbs had passed by Thanatos, at which point he would stop and grin up at the floating darkness user. "Don't worry... I'm not taking it easy on you..."

With a snap of his fingers the energy shells would begin shrinking if size at the same time and speed, drawing inward upon Thanatos. The speed at which they did was akin to the speed at which the second hands of a watch tick away the seconds. Another chuckle would come from Sky-dron then, signalling yet another twist. "One more thing..." His hand traveled up and forward then, sending first one more ord, followed by a second into the energy shells. As each one reached the shell layers it would pass through, separating into two smaller ones to form a sort of energy bolo which would proceed to bounce around the area of the inner most energy shell, the same as where Thanatos presently was.
Sky-dron would chuckle one final time now, a rather amused grin on his face. "Tick tock tick tock... Time is running out... Can you escape? You better hope so... For if not... BOOM!" Those words should leave little doubt to what awaited Thanatos should he not escape. It would certainly be interesting to see how Thanatos dealt with his current predicament. He could certainly try going through the layers, as that was probably the easiest and most direct way of escaping, though he would soon find that to try and pass through the barriers would be rather... painful to say the least. Thanatos was formidable, but even he should be hesitant to consider that. Passing through one layer would be like one trying to run through a laser barrier wall. Compound that with the aforementioned wall being made of light energy, where as Thanatos was affliated with darkness, and the effects would be multiplied. Thanatos might make it through the first, maybe the second that way, but to endure it a third time would not be advisable.
He also had the two energy bolos that were now bouncing around him. The bolos had one purpose and one purpose only, to ensnare Thanatos to prevent his escape. In the event that one met the other they would simply pass through each other. Should Thanatos become ensnared, it would be one more thing he would have to deal with in his escaping the multi layer attack. It should also be noted that as the overall area of the shell decreased the faster the bolos would bounce around the space, as there would be less travel required between bounces.
And let's not forget the aforementioned energy shells who were rapidly decreasing in size. Thanatos would be well acquainted with what would happen once the orbs that dotted the shell layers met him, as he had faced their explosive results many times before. Thanatos was literally trapped in a ticking time bomb of light energy, which he would find the destructive power to be far greater than that of the first attack of their little sparring match.
So... how would Thanatos escape? Could he escape? Only the future knows for sure, but there was one thing that could be said for certain. There was no doubt that Thanatos would give it his best.
((Yeah, but this is one gift I'd like to send back... though I can't. I always seem to get sick every few years or so round this time of year, and it's pretty much that time again.))

"s**t." Kiori whispered bluntly to himself as the clearest word he could catch from Sky-dron's mouth through the energy humming was the word "Boom", his right hand went to his sword slapping its blunt side with the back side of his hand causing a sound shield to hug his body almost as close as latex would a woman's, while protecting him on the inside it would vibrate so heavily on the outside so that rubble or misguided projectiles would either turn into dust or bounce off.
Alestial walks closer to the arena and leans against the railing as she watches what unfolds before her. She smiles with a hint of excitement in her eyes, it has been so long since she's seen a spar like this, she couldn't wait to see how Thanatos got out of this one.
"Nice job Sky, now lets see what you do Thanatos."
It was obvious she wasn't to concern with her own safety if things with sour, but she didn't mind. She had faith in the two that were fighting.

"Oh I see." Aoi replied and looked at each one of those automatons. The wars in this land must be pretty tough, huh? He thought and looked at those two. This is getting pretty exciting!! He said in his mind and excitement could be seen in his face. "So what did just happened in here? Who exactly is your enemy? He said this like a professional interviewer and waited for their response.
As he waited for their response. He would look around, trying to spot something very odd in this castle. But he only saw some old scraps of metals and some pillars. The group was standing long and Aoi was getting tired of standing. So he crouched down, putting his right hand on the floor, supporting himself. As he reached the floor, he hastily did a cross-sitting position and looked up to the automatons.

As a one of the many newcomers who flocked to the arena had noticed Meldarion and had begun to talk to him, the boy grew weary that he was not as hidden as he thought. Luckily the man seemed to be distracted by the ice goddess. In this time, the elf boy quickly reached into the pouch on his waist and pulled out a rune stone. He gripped it tightly, whispering something into it before his body disappeared and reappeared some 50 feet away. He did this repeatedly, making sure to stay out of people's line of sight until he was high on the rooftop of the nearest building. He then placed the rune back in its pouch as he continued to spy on the spar from afar.

Sky-dron's little display of light is by no means a show as he can see the reasoning behind it to dodge his attack in a quick manner. It was much like how he had used his cape as a distraction if you will to displace Sky's eyes giving him ample time to escape the blast radius of the bullets. He sneers softly seeing Sky escape from his attack almost unharmed as only his coat took the damage. "Seems we have no regard for our clothing as stylish and effective as they may be." He nods his head as Sky-dron now seems to retaliate back at him with those spheres of light that he's shooting from his hands. Really all he could do is watch as they merely pass right by him making him wonder if Sky was still reeling from the dizzying effects of his little spin move. As far as dodging them went he'd cross his arms over his chest moving his torso as to let the spheres pass. It wasn't until they started to stop in front of him that he'd take notice that the others had stopped as well forming a cage now all around him of pure light energy.
He closes his eyes as he chuckle's softly seeming that Sky has him in quite the predicament now. Opening his eyes once more as the two bolos would now start to bounce around inside of the multiple layers. Hearing Sky-dron's explanation of the attack only made seems seem grim or at least that's how it all appeared. He knew very well he could pass through these layers of light escaping out of the time bomb itself but it would come at a price and one he wasn't willing to pay this early on in the spar. He also didn't want to unleash what lay hidden down within this early on and for just a spar too it would be far too much something that Sky-dron and others were familiar with in the past. He chuckle's once more as he exhales slowly at the end lowering his head down. "Seems you have me in a fix. To escape or to stay here would both come at their prices. I'm almost tempted..." He cuts himself short as he dodges one of the bolos as they were starting to annoy him now bouncing about as such.
His eyes trail them following their movements as he raises his hands catching the bolos in them as he holds onto them firmly as one could see the smoke trails starting to rise up from between his fingers as the light energy was undoubtedly taking its effect on him. Keeping his arms outstretched a black aura would start at his feet before flaring up around him as one could see the dark energy flowing down through his arms channeling itself into his hands as with gritted teeth he shatters the bolos, the light energy dispersing through the air as he clenches his hands down into fists as the muscles in his arms tense for only a moment as he roars out releasing that building dark energy within his arms outwards as he forms two of his own dark spheres as they'd press up against the sides of the first layer keeping it held back from shrinking any further as the opposing forces of energy would shoot off sparks of energy as they rain down towards the ground forming minor explosions along the Arena floor.
He looks towards Sky-dron from within that makeshift prison as he can't help but grin widely bringing his hands together as he merges the two spheres together keeping his hands around the perimeter as he focuses more of his energy into it, the new sphere growing in size as it expands out around his body absorbing himself into it as it clashes up against the barrier of light. There's a great strain against the first layer as his own dark energy now starts to push it back still growing in size as it looks to stretch those tethers to their limit as the other layers continue to shrink down meeting with the first layer now as they do just as Sky-dron said they would a massive release of energy exploding out in the sky as it creates a blinding light up within the sky itself spreading out as it contains itself to just the area above the Arena.
As the smoke hangs in the air it isn't long before that smoke is sucked into the sphere of dark energy which had survived the explosion as it starts to raise upwards his feet coming out first as his body is slowly revealed as he lifts the sphere up into the air with one hand as he looks down towards Sky-dron unscathed having used his dark energy to shield himself from the light as each sphere itself only contained so much of Sky's own energy which really was a small portion. "So you want to start things off with a bang hmm?"
The sphere itself is drawn back within his hand shrinking back down as he brings his hand down around it as one could see the burn marks upon the outer layers of his skin from where he had crushed the bolos earlier but one could also see the sparks of dark energy flickering across his knuckles and hand as he then brings that hand forward pointing it towards Sky as he opens it up releasing the dark energy pent up inside as it was like opening up the overflow gate on a dam as the energy came out in a large blast that could easily consume the entire Arena if need be as it streaks down through the air towards Sky. He did bear in mind the safety of the spectators though as he intends for the blast to rather through Sky-dron and head back out towards the distant lands where it would explode without causing much damage to the Arena. All he could do once more was watch and wait to see the outcome of this attack as he didn't intend to kill Sky with it.
(It happens. Winter and all. I know the feeling.)

The Metal elementalists built this castle as a stronghold to protect themselves from invasion and built we automatons to assist them in doing so. We were built to serve and defend the castle and its inhabitants from other opposing elementalists. We remaining automatons have stayed here with the castle to continue our purpose for being constructed."

"Shy guy..." Kiori spoke softly about Meldarion after he vanished though he could still hear his movements, he decided that giving the man his space would be the best thing he could do at that time. Dropping his shield defense Kiori stood to his feet as Thanatos began his response to Sky-dron, nodding his head to the two out of respect before he made his exit of the stadium. Deep inside he felt this restlessness that he couldn't quite put a finger on at that moment so he decided clearing his head would probably be the best thing he could do.

She smiles gently as she wanted the battle unfold, she figured Thanatos would find a way out of this, after all, as much as she hated to admit it, he always finds a way. That's one annoying thing about him, very resourceful.
She began to wonder how the other students were doing and decided it would be best to walk the academy and check up on as many students as possible, after all it's the first day and many are new to this.
She gives one more glance towards Sky and Thanatos before making her way outside of the arena to begin her little stroll.
Uki nodded at Alestial as she got up to leave, "I will. And it was a pleasure talking to you."
As Alestial left, Uki would turn his attention to Shinta. He shrugged his shoulders and got a smirk on his face. He had no interest in sparring, as he didn't want people comparing his fightin tactics to his brother's methods. "Shinta, what would I gain from sparring with someone that I would have a tactical advantage over? I saw a glimpse of your fighting style and you have no idea of my methods. Also, I really would prefer to watch this fight. It has the makings of a epic saga."
Uki knew this would spark Shinta more, as he hadn't ignored the look in Shinta's demeanor. He figured that if he was going to have to fight, he may as well fluster his opponent so that he had an even larger advantage.

Kiori sat relaxed watching the Harmonic Falls from a hammock he set up in a tree top not too far away from there. He wondered how the clan was doing and began to reflect on people from his past as he took a sip from his flask of sake. The cool breeze caressing his eyes began to convince his eyes to close as he listened to the sounds of the trees rustling and the birds chirping. This was beginning to turn into a much needed vacation.

After listening the story of the automatons. Aoi was so shock that this castle was being built a long time ago and these automatons have lived up for so many years. His eyes was still in shock and he almost dropped his jaws. "How cool of you automatons. I'm so proud of the fallen Metal elementalists and other automatons. But could there be a way that I can create any automatons? I mean do you know how to make another one? Because I really wanted to have a pet that is metallic." He said childishly. He still haven't change since coming in here. He suddenly felt something in his hands and it was like that it is not furry at all. "Oh wait where is my bunny? He said almost screaming. The bunny must've left and I didn't even notice it? He thought and looked at the automatons in shock. The new problem now is his bunny. He really love his bunny so much and always takes care of him.
The automatons don't know how to advise him on how to construct more automatons. "I have processed your request but I'm finding it to be an invalid one. We are not pets by any means and thus do not act as such nor shall be such." They were crafted by master metal elementalists and the designs hadn't been written down anywhere that they knew of. It may have very well died with the other metal elementalists.
The automatons watch him go as he panics about his lost bunny wondering what he could be going on about but they had other matters to attend to as far as the castle as they didn't assist him with looking for his bunny.
