"Wow. Really?" was all she could manage as three more faceless ninjas rose to attack her.

She took another step or two back, stooping to retrieve the baton from the guy she had thrown into the wall. Coincidentally, the bolas smacked painfully against her legs, but failed to wrap around her due to the wall being in the way. A jolt ran up her leg, but the pain simply elicited a snarl.

"You'll have to do better than that, a*****e..." she yelled as she lunged forward to ram the electrified baton up into the bola-man's throat.

The ninja obviously didn't expect her to be unhindered by his bolas. And as if dazed, Aetyra managed to thrust forward and knab him into the throat, causing a gagging sound to occur before he went flying onto the bed. The one from the curtains then rushed at Aetyra, deciding to be smarter and keep a distance from her with a swing of his batons in each hand.

The one over at the desk began moving toward her, too, although due to having coming from the desk, his arms and legs were essentially sticking out of it like some ghetto made robot, so he was slowed down in his movements. Maybe using a desk as a hiding place wasn't the best idea.

Joe sighed, he was getting no where with the unconscious employees. At the very least, they seemed to be left alone and unhurt. But this left him in a grave state of mind. Joe stood up and continued towards his room at the end of the hall. At the very least, he could change into some more suitable clothes than this casual wear, if there was security issues within this building.

Before he reached his destination, Joe stopped at a door where he heard a commotion inside. He slowed to a stop and stopped to listen. He peered at the door and with his Infinite Sight, he could see a number of souls moving to and for in action. He felt the rush of adrenaline and emotions, anger and pain, the signs of a battle inside.

Joe knocked on the door (Aetyra's door). "Need some help in there?"

He was prepared to kick the door down, if need be. In the mean time, he kept a look out. The only entrance this way was the elevator and the stairs, which were down the same direction. By his door was a window and nothing else. If anyone entered, he should see them.

"Kinda... busy... right now..." she called between her repeated dodging, trying to avoid being smacked by a taser baton. "Door's locked..." she added, before twisting out of the way of a particularly accurate swing from the goon and punishing him for it by smacking it out of his hand with her own baton.

With one down and another yet to go, and Desktopicus Prime moving in, she was getting aggravated by their sheer persistence.

"Can't a girl change in peace?"

The suited man's baton was knocked from his left hand, sent flying somewhere against the wall. He would have attempted to retrieve it if he didn't have a ravaging unclothed warrior before him. With his single remaining baton, he took up a defensive stance, daring her to get close to him as the red eyes of his goggles peered straight at her. Meanwhile, the other one finally arrived, flanking the night elf from the other side. He had two of his batons out and ready. They slowly closed in on her from both sides.

'Sassin entered the room of her hotel, lugging a protective metal case half her size into the room. On entrance she let out a sigh, rubbing at her eyes with her robot gloves, then set to the tireless work that would bring about securing the room.

It would take literally hours, two or more, of searching every nook and cranny to try and locate any and every bug, device or wiring that was in the room. It was merticulous work. And only once done would she begin to set up her own defences, the case coming open and a bomb being strapped to the front door, one that exploded on breach. The windows would just be set with alarms.

Sure, call it paranoia, but it wasn't nearly as over the top as her saferooms, which were rigged to explode entirely on being breached from anywhere, even the walls via magic. Getting caught was far worse than death for an Assassin.

Ignoring the ineffectual flailing of Mighty Morphing Desk Ranger, she lunged into the other goon's guard with her baton. Parried... but it distracted him from her incoming knee to the groin. As he bent over, she took the liberty of smashing his helmet in with the baton.

Suddenly, electricity arced across her back and she yelped, her arm and shoulder seizing up bizarrely as she stumbled forward. "Oh, you mother ********." She lobbed the recently downed man with her left arm into the bumbling desk ninja, before setting upon both of them, beating on their entangled forms with the baton until blood began to spray.

A slender man entered the halls, pulled from his room by the commotions. He shared no interest in whatever party was causing all the racket but he certainly couldn't enjoy a wink of sleep with the events proceeding. So there he stood just outside the door to his room with his suit hanging sloppily over his body. His suit jacket slung over his shoulder and his tie undone over his partial tucked in gray dress shirt. Navy dress pants wrinkled due to laziness and fatigue that was replicated by the expression of the wizard's face. Drooping sleepy eyes, and a heavy yawn would cement any doubts of the man's state of being.

Putting weight down upon the cane in which supported his stance as he made his way down the hall, Ea grumbled under his breathe. "Might as well have a coffee. Hell, maybe even a gin."
His thoughts were disturbed by a loud thump from the floor above his head, the unkempt hair of the wizard being brushed from his face by his left hand as the but of his cane struck the ceiling. "stupid honeymooners" he grunted as he continued on.

They dead (except for the desk guy, who has enough protection from the drawer).

The ninja in the desk was still alive. Lucky him. The death knight fished him out of the rubble by his throat and ripped off his helmet and mask with her other hand. Her naked fury was terrifying.

"Tell me who sent you, or so help me, I will make you wish you were never born, maggot!"

He was alive, but he wasn't conscious. Still looked as laid out as the others, though. She will find pulling off the mask was impossible. It seemed to be melded with the rest of the suit. Even trying to tear it off didn't seem possible. Felt like it was glued on.

"Well ********. First I wake up naked in a creepy laboratory and then I get assaulted by faceless goons when I try to get into something comfortable."

Aetyra drove the point home by bodily hurling the barely-living goon through the window, followed by his four dead associates and their gear.

"Now that that's over, maybe I can get dressed finally..." she mumbled, as she began to put on her armor piece by piece.

From the top floor of the headquarters of the GTB, an explosion went off, which was visible from most important areas on the GTB grounds. People below screamed as glass and debris fell from above, fire and smoke billowing into the air.

Sleepy stumbles led the wizard to the end of the hall at a slow pace, his feet often dragging across the carpet as his head hung lazily in his current state. Steel doors of an elevator stood tall before his hunched over stance, even as he lifted his cane from the soft flooring to press the downwards directional key with the butt of the black stick. There was a soft chime and the doors opened slowly, not a soul stepped out... but one wandered in. A soft turn on the heel brought the cane to strike the key for the lobby floor and the doors chimed once more before closing tight.

Rolling back and forth onto the ball of his foot then down onto the hell, the wizard whistled loudly in hopes to drown out the sound of the annoying elevator music. At a time like this, Ea would have preferred the racket of the upper levels. Rubbing his left side temple, he closed his eyes and let himself drown in the sounds of the world, blended with the tune of his whistling. "Quite troublesome" he muttered to himself moments before the lights flickered out.

The elevator counted down til it reached the main lobby floor, the doors struggling to open only several inches until becoming jammed. From the break in the doors came two gloved hands followed by a misty cloud pouring out over the main level's floor. A crisp crack followed as the man's hand pried the doors open, the sound of frost snapping sneaking into the main room.
Stepping out of the elevator, the wizard brushed flakes of snow off his shoulders and flapped the bristles of ice off the jacket. "Your air conditioning is malfunctioning, someone should look into that" Ea said before wandering towards the lobbies seating area. Comfortable couches and chairs for newly arriving guests, and most importantly a table with a complimentary coffee machine. Paper cups, sugar, cream, everything a new arrive that needed something hot would request.
Pouring a cup full of the solution of hot water and ground beans, Ea raised the paper thin cup to his lips and gave the coffee a quick sniff before taking a sip. "Good enough" , satisfied with his caffeinated drink the wizard took a seat in a chair in the seating arena and put his leather shoes up onto the coffee table. "good enough"

Sensative ears pricked up to the all too familiar sound of explosions. "Well ******** that," were the first few words uttered from 'Sassins mouth as she started to gather up her things, stuffing them back into her suitcase before opening a window and slipping outside. A mixture of metalmorphing and just general cat climbing skills guided her around the building then down to the floor out of sight, before she kept low to the ground and began to sneak off for the nearest, cheapest motel which would be easily overlooked.

And then once she booked the room she would be booby-trapping it before getting out that window too and looking for a nice tree to go spend the night in.

Couldn't be too careful.
