Rebecca was used to having to take action first, but Michael was way ahead of her. He had already attacked the other man, causing him to crash into a tree and the tree falling on top of him. She smirked and shook her head a little. This guy was no threat to her and Michael. No doubt they could finish this real soon. "Oh sugar, do leave some of the fun for us girls." Storm laughed as she moved forward. "I have been itching for a good fight."

Michael Callaway Remi chuckled deep in his throat. "Don' worry, chéri," he said with amusement before he heard a creaking an instant before the tree was hurled straight at him from the demon-man's grasp, hurling him into the shallows of the bayou. Blackheart cocked his head, his glowing purplish black eyes locked on Rebecca-Storm before he snickered a second before it shifted into a maniacal laugh.

"Oh sugar, that wasn't very nice," Storm said as she slowly turned to look at Blackheart. The sky began to go dark and the wind picked up all around them, sending things flying. Her hair swirled around her as lightening bolts struck all around Blackheart. Soon it even began to pour down rain.

Michael Callaway Michael grunted before he channeled Remy's kinetic power through his throat and yelled. The blast acted much like the sonic scream of another comic character, Banshee. The tree shuddered as the water boiled before it stared exploding from the concussive ripples of energy shearing through it. Blackheart grunted as one lightning bolt seared off his arm from the elbow down, wisps of ash and sickly yellow ooze dripping from the wound before it regenerated in a swirl of black smoke. "You will have to do better than that," he said smugly. He frowned slightly as the tree started shuddering before it detonated in a blast of water and splinters. His eyes narrowed at a deep growling voice he recognized all too well. Michael's armor had shifted from deep silver with flickers of pinkish crimson to pitch black with wisps of deep orange flames flickering through it. A chain hung in his grip, glowing with a dull orange aura. He tilted his head slightly as his glowing solid orange eyes narrowed. "It will take more than that to stop me, Blackheart," he growled. He wondered if Rebecca-Storm would recognize what item he'd discovered in the tree when it had exploded. It had floated down and touched his armor, infusing him with a power that he had known instantly Blackheart would recognize.

Rebecca had seen Michael's eyes. They were glowing solid Orange now. Her head tilted a little and she smiled. She thought she knew what and who Michael had found, but she wasn't one hundred percent sure. Her gaze went back to Blackheart. "I am sorry to say, but I think that you are seriously outnumbered my friend." The wind whipped faster around them, moving everything but Storm/Rebecca themselves.

Kaosujin Ryu Michael Callaway Blackheart snorted even as he crouched low to the ground. 'So what if your friend found the Rider's power? It will not stop me now," he hissed before he pushed off, attempting to use the winds to escape. The chain shot up, wrapping around Blackheart's ankle tightly. Michael hummed deep in his throat, the sound close to a growl. "You aren't going anywhere," he growled as he flicked the now brightly glowing orange-red chain at Blackheart, wrapping it around the demon-man's ankle before he jerked it back sharply, sending the demon into the ground with a echoing boom that made the ground shudder. When Michael spoke again, his voice was a deeper growl, that of the Rider himself. "Without Doctor Strange, there is no way to bind him back, and killing him will do no good as he will eventually reform."

As Blackheart had attempted to use the winds to escape and the chain wrapped around his leg, Storm pulled back the force of the wind. It only caused the man to hit the ground harder than he would have before. Rebecca looked over at him, her hair still flowing behind with the gentle wind that surrounded her. "Then what do we do?"

Michael Callaway Blackheart grimaced as he tried to rise, only to get Michael's heavy foot on his chest, pinning him down. Michael sighed as he tugged on the chain, letting it uncoil from around the demon's ankle and flicked his wrist, letting it wrap around his shoulder in two loops and hang there. "Obviously we can't let him go, but we can't trap him or destroy him either... so I have no idea what to do," he said wryly, shaking his head.

"Well this definitely puts a little spin on things doesn't it?" Rebecca sighed as she reached up and scratched her head. With a sigh she crossed her arms over her chest. She glared down at Blackheart. "Man how I wish there was something I could do to you that would make you sorry you ruined my perfectly wonderful day."

Michael Callaway Blackheart grimaced as he gripped Michael's leg, trying to manipulate his necrotic power into the young man but failing miserably. Michael tilted his head as his irises reappeared, glowing a brilliant silver through the bright orange of the Ghost Rider's power. "I think I have an idea... one that Blackie here is really going to hate," he said as he shifted the chain, a quarter sized amulet hanging from a foot long silver chain apparently fused to the end. The other that hung roughly a quarter inch below it, Blackheart clearly recognized, as he went ashen with a look of fear.

Rebecca looked at the amulet, eyes narrowed. She didn't recognize it at all. "What does it do," she asked as she uncrossed her arms. Her hair had returned to its natural red hue and her blue eyes had a questioning look to them. She glanced over her shoulder and was relieved to see the other men were still in the house.

Michael Callaway Michael felt the Rider receding slowly as his hair reformed, its deep bluish black color rippling with silver as he smirked. "It's the very amulet that Zarathos was sealed into... and now," he said as he deliberately dangled it close to Blackheart's chest, seeing the core of the amulet glow a baleful crimson before tendrils of energy began tearing into Blackheart's 'host'. Blackheart shrieked as the energy swiftly ripped him apart into ashes which were sucked rapidly in a matter of seconds into the amulet. Michael exhaled as he shrugged, the armor shrinking swiftly into his skin, leaving his clothes ruffled, but undamaged. "Man, explaining this is gonna be a b***h," he muttered with a sigh as he saw Troy looking out the window in their direction.

Rebecca whistled softly as she watched what the amulet did. "Well that is some nifty trick there." She smirked and shook her head. At least they had gotten rid of that particular menace. Now they only had one more issue to deal with. Rebecca looked over her shoulder to the house where Troy was watching them from the window. "A b***h huh?" Rebecca said as she looked over at Michael. "I don't think that is the right word. I don't think there is a good enough word to describe how much it is going to suck explaining all of this." She motioned all around them at the mess. "It is kind of like me having to tell my parents one of these days. I don't know how I am going to do it."

Michael Callaway Michael shrugged. "Trust me, explaining it to them's gonna be tough enough for me... unfortunately the reason my uncle was able to trick me so easily was that my parents were killed by a drunk driver when I was seven," he sighed. It was how he and his twin sister had ended up with his uncle to begin with, though he was curious as to how the guy that had raped and murdered her had gotten in, considering his uncle was almost ridiculously a**l when it came to security. He frowled slightly, sensing Logan's grimace at the idea that the murderer had actually been hired by his uncle. "Besides 'my uncle tricked me into taking what I thought was blood tests but were actually experimental nanites' doesn't really cover it, especially well..." he said with a shrug that he'd unconsciously picked up from Logan, a single shouldered shrug that said 'life's a pain in the a** and I got no choice but to deal with it'.

Rebecca moved a little closer to Michael, her hand resting on his arm as she looked up at him. "These people really seem like good, decent people. I am sure that they'll be supportive and understanding. And if not..." She gave a little shrug. "Well you still have me as a friend. I know it isn't much, but I will always be here." She blinked a little, surprised at her own words. She hadn't promised anyone that before. Well not since her sister. For once Storm was silent, stunned.
