Mei smiled as the ghoul spoke of her future plans. They sounded like a lot of fun, something that would be worth looking forward too. Her future plans, however.. she doubted that the ghoul would think the same of her plans. It was likely that no one would, but she could live with that, or so she hoped. "Sounds like that would be a lot of fun."
Shaking her head at her question, Mei grabbed for something that appeared to be googly eyes, and stuck them on her, what she thought to be a work of art. "Its been.. a little stressful, but I'm okay."

Sophie should have learned from her previous mistake of not paying attention. But it seemed she deemed somethings more importantly than her job - like the tinkle of bells or two elves fighting in the distance. She moved like a robot and grabbed the first thing her fingers touched, putting it together anyway she could make them fit.
Consequences didn't matter and the toy ended up with the first one she'd made.

With two stuffed toys made, the black dog was ready and unwilling to make a third. Undoubtedly it would turn out as horrendous as the ones before, but at least the head he picked up this time wasn't pink. It was, however, full of smiles and gave off such a cheery feel that he wanted to puke.

Sophie reached out and snatched up the blue head. Finally! Something she hadn't used yet. A little variety. She wasn't sure what it was supposed to be; but the colour was pretty and the face was cute so she was happy to be working with it. She wondered what the final product would look like.

Before TK could receive his answer—although he certainly shot the hellhound ghoul a curious look, what was she doing here and why was she rubbing her face into Makoto’s clothes?—Arel finally emerged. He narrowed his eyes and took in the frost demon before a looming figure caught his attention. He placed a hand in front of his eyes when the portal appeared. While the undead shuddered slightly when he stepped into the cold, it wasn’t something he hated. As long as it wasn’t fire, he was content.
What he did mind was the bright colors splattered all over the land. He tried to direct his gaze toward the white instead. Lack of color was better than an explosion of it. However, TK still tried his best to curiously examine his surroundings, even when the elf began to explain the task to them. The skeleton certainly snapped his head toward Barry when he mentioned something about getting out of here.
What?
But it was too late. He reached for a red head and eyed it curiously.

The parts continued to idly scroll by him via the conveyor belt, and TK decided to eye the individual pieces first. Admittedly, a job like this called for speed, but the undead boil was still trying to piece everything together (haha get it). After another moment of befuddled contemplation, he reached for a random body part and ended up grabbing what looked like…a caterpillar? Some sort of bug or snake, anyways. “This does not go with the head I picked out,” he stated obviously, but it was too late to switch one of the parts for a fitting him. Sighing, he stuck the head on one of the body’s ends.

While he could have stopped there and tossed the toy to Jack knew where to be wrapped up and shipped off to somewhere, TK stared at the other miscellaneous parts scattered about the belts and figured that he should probably try and add an accessory or two to the curious contraption he had built. He should have learned the last time, but again he picked out a piece whose color clearly did not match. The skeleton shrugged and snapped on the rabbit ears anyways. It looked good enough to him.

If Alecto had known where this mysterious part-time job would have led her, she would have immediately high-tailed it, but no. People loved to leave students in the dark about what kind of tasks they would be undertaking, so the dog merely continued to cuddle Makoto as a haphazard way to seek much-needed warmth. Not even the tiny flames disappearing and reappearing around her seemed to be insufficient for the canine. She blinked when she heard loud voices that sounded unlike students. One ear perked up and she ceased her cuddling to look at Arel, then at the mysterious figure that entered the office. She blinked and raised a clawed hand when the bright portal appeared, but like the others she dutifully shuffled into it.
Only to let out a pitiful whine when she realized she had walked into a land full of cold snow. She hugged her bare arms and wrapped her forked tail around her legs, but trudged through the white powder toward the factory anyways. She barely listened to the directions, but after watching her fellow classmates seemed to get the gist of it.
It was too bad she had missed snatching a head up first, though.

The little Skark was absolutely beside herself with a need to go out and investigate this strange world! Canon's form of locomotion had been replaced with excitement and jumping. Lots of jumping. She jumped in the snow, she definitely jumped over to inspect one of the red candy canes, and might have taken a lick. Christmas red looked better than it tasted, she decided. She jumped the entire way, more or less staying with her new found friends. As the elf led them into a workshop, Canon calmed down enough to ponder the concept of toys. "Do they bite?" she asked, peeking over one elf's shoulder. She received a horrified look and a shooing motion from said elf. The skark figured she'd have to make one and find out herself. She watched as Lizzy assembled one, and peered curiously at the finished product. That... actually looked like fun! Canon went to go get a piece for herself, and failed miserably. Sophie grabbed something green and red; two of her favourite colours (though she liked pretty much every colour that wasn't blinding her). As she examined the item she raised a brow. It was some kind of box.. Oh! It was a present! She gave it a little shake, wondering it perhaps there was something inside. She was kind of disappointed to find nothing inside but she set it on her bench none the less and started to look for something else to add to her toy.

Sure, she had forgotten to pick up a head, but this time Alecto was determined to actually grab a piece for once. Her ears were pressed against her skull while she eyed the parts carefully. Then her dark hands snaked out and she picked up what appeared to be the body of a flower. She looked at it confusedly while twirling the stem left and right. Where was the center part and petals? Oh! Was the center part supposed to be where a head would go? She smiled sheepishly. Oops.

If the hellhound couldn’t get the center part, then at least she would snatch up the petals! There had to be petals around here somewhere. Alecto hummed thoughtfully while she surveyed the moving conveyor parts. Sometimes she would reach for a part, then take her hand away when she remembered she specifically wanted petals. Her glowing eyes lit up even more when she saw the colorful petals and happily picked them up. “Yay! Waitwait, how do I put them together?” Alecto cocked her head and did her best to piece the two together.
Did it work???

Sophie grabbed the ears she'd used before; mostly because they actually matched the head she used. Putting the toys together, she looked over her work and gave a triumphant grin, dusting her hands off. If she ignored the second one, they weren't that terrible.
