Ashe slipped out of the castle and had hidden herself among the flowers. She could see the others, but not the shadows. I wonder what's going on...? she thought. Since she was so focused on the dragons, she wasn't paying any attention to the rest of her surroundings and didn't notice as a few strands of the shadows crept her way.

Eva wasted no more time. She lunged at the shadows, drawing her blades as she did so. The blades shone like the sun as they drew on her power making the shadows draw back immediately, but they were not quick enough. She opened her wings and flew forward slashing at them, the shy Eva that usually was there was now replaced by something much different, she even resembled her mother.

Cirok followed Eva " lets do the quickly. the sooner they get destroyed the sooner we can rest"
Volteck looked behind him and saw Ashe hiding in the flowers also saw a few shadow approaching her. He quickly rushed to her stopping the shadows where they were " if you hurt the one i love then i will destroy you" he said out loud to the shadows

Ashe jumped in surprise at Volteck's sudden appearance. She looked at the shadows in fear and disgust. The shadows shied away from Volteck, but they didn't stop. A few charged at him, while the others darted for Ashe. They grabbed her, wrapping themselves around her left arm. She screamed and tried to get them off, but the shadows held on, looking for a chance to claim her.

Volteck let the shadows attack him but since he he was born from the shadows he absorbed them. he them went to help Ashe " take my hand and no matter what dont let go. im going to lend you my dark powers so you can absorb the shadows. this will also grant you a new power. one of which i dont know" he held out his hand towards Ashe. " dont hesitate just grab "

Ashe looked at Valos, panicking as she could feel the shadows continue to crawl over her. They had found an opening and had started to slip in. Already she could hear whisperings in her head, trying to control her thoughts, her movements.
She took Valos' hand with the last of her free strength and held on as hard as she could. "Help...me..."

Volteck Quickly started to channel some of his dark powers to Ashe. " what ever you do, dont let go." he said to her as a small dark aura went from his hand to her own. " dont panic. just think of something that makes you happy and let the power i gave you to absord the shadows. not only are you able to absorb them but it was also give you a power and an element." he told her " but please dont let go or they will take you over"

Ashe could hardly hear Volteck over the whispers of the shadows. When they started to be adsorbed by Volteck's power they fought back. And hard. The shadows clung to her, trying to force her to change into her dragon form. She could feel her wings and tail appear, as well as her hand holding Volteck's turn into a claw, digging into his arm. Still, she clung on, trying to fight the shadows.

Eva looked forward as the shadows tried to cling to her, doing their best to take her down. She jumped back quickly having to push back fear as she shone her light forward scattering them.

Volteck felt the claws dig into his skin but he did net let go of her " i refuse to lose another loved one to these damned shadows. if i have to i will sacrifice myself to save her." Upon saying that he got surrounded by a shadow absorbing all that was near him also channeling some of this power to Ashe " you will not take her from me" he shoutsCirok was airborne yet the shadows were also aiming for him with quick dashes and airbourne manuveres. "dont get overconfident , last thing you need to do is get covered by them"

Ashe could feel the shadow's control slowly slipping, but some still clung to her. She cried out in pain as the shadows clung on, fighting Volteck's power. "It hurts...Please stop..." She couldn't hold on much longer.
With one final cry of pain the last of the shadows were absorbed and she fainted.

Eva cursed as she looked to Ashe her eyes lighting up in anger as she looked at the shadows. Suddenly wings sprouted from her back as she flew straight up into her air. Suddenly there was an amazing flash of light as Eva unleashed all her power at once down to the shadows below not even giving them time to scatter as they were immediately incinerated.
Eva winced as she suddenly felt the impact of what she did. It had drained her and slowly she fell from the sky.

Volteck Picked up Ashe and put her into an empty room inside the castle where he would remian by her side until she woke up.
Cirok caught Ave in the air " you outdone yourself this time Mistress Eva. Time for you to get some rest" He flew through the window and placed Eva in her bed also remaining by her side until she wake

Ashe murmured in her sleep, as if still fighting off the shadows.
Eventually she woke and and looked around, "...What...Happened?"
