Mori smiling, "well it smells amazing...it's nice she makes that for you when she's here." When Kirito helped him sit, his hand was on the end of the chair making sure he wasn't going off the side or anything. Sitting, his hands on the table feeling for utensils and the bowl. Gently for the bowl, since he felt the heat coming from it. Nodding, "I will, thank you." He wouldn't do something like he did that last time basically knocking the food over. He found the spoon and had it in the bowl. Stirring a little, blowing on it. He was slow with the maneuvers, getting himself like situated and all. Taking slow sips and soon got the hang of everything. "Mhm, this is really amazing, it's so good." Smiling.

Kirito smiled and so did his mother when Mori complimented on her food. "Thank you." she said as she began feeding Kanade her own bowl. "Mommy I can feed myself." she said taking the spoon away and then eating it. "Don't forget to blow." said Kirito as he began eating his. All was a bit quiet until Kirito's mother spoke. "So, Mori is it? Where is your family? Aren't they worried about you?" she asked wondering if the man had a family nearby or not. He's gone blind and is staying at the clinic. If family was here why wasnt he with them? Is what she's wondering.

Mori ate while things were silent. Smirking though before hearing Kanade what she said about feeding herself. Until he heard their mom after a bit, pausing in his eating as he listened to her questions. He bit his lower lip, shaking his head. "I don't...have one...there's no one, I've just been living on my own outside of town until this happened." Kind of a lie and he couldn't remember if he'd ever said anything about family to Kirito. But it wasn't a topic he wanted to discuss, for all intents and purposes, he had no one blood related to him. Looking down to where he assumed the bowl to be and kept eating.

Kirito's mother frowned when she heard he didnt have one. "Oh I see. Well thats unfortunate." she said. Kanade chirped up and looked over to Mori. "It's ok. You can just be part of our family. Right, Nii-chan?" she asked Kirito. Kirito nodded his head. "Mmm, thats right." he said patting Mori's shoulders and blushing a bit. Kirito's mother smiled and poured the two men an extra helping of chowder. "It's gonna be cold tonight so you two better feel up." she said.

Mori nodded lightly, about it being unfortunate and all, though he didn't make such a stink about it. He giggled when he heard Kanade and Kirito. "Aww thank you guys...I'd love that." He smiled, saying quietly not realizing he'd flushed a little being so welcome like and all. Nodding as she said to eat up and all, "thank you," and adding again, "well your chowder is perfect for warming anyone up...it's just so good." He smiled, scooping up more from his bowl and eating. This was nice, a cheery little family thing.

Kirito's mother thanked Mori for complimenting her chowder. An hour had gone by and Kanade and her mother were asleep in Kirito's room. "Alright they're finally asleep." he said. Kirito stayed downstairs with Mori so he could catch up on work and fill out a couple of papers. He's been slacking a bit but it was nothing he couldn't manage. Kirito went over to Mori's bed and gave him a small peck on the lips. "Good night Mori-san. Sleep well tonight." said Kirito blushing only a little bit.

Mori was sitting on the bed, things quiet now as Kirito's sister and mom had fallen asleep a little while ago. Smiling he kissed him back, laying down. "Mhm...your mom's cooking got me tired...but next time...I want to sit with you and listen to your work...Like...talk to me about it, I'm curious." Smiling, though he meant next time since he was nodding off after all that yummy chowder.

Kirito nodded his head. "Alright." he said as he sat down and watched Mori nod to sleep first. Kirito began working on his paper and it would most likely take all night. Once Mori would wake up, Kirito would still be sleeping and his mother was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. Kanade sat beside Mori's bed and waited for him to wake up.

Mori slept peacefully through the night. Soon stirring during the morning. He felt eyes on him, someone watching him. Yawning, blinking his eyes, he turned his head looking at Kanade. Blinking, "G-good morning," flushed surprised at her sitting there watching. Rubbing his eyes, yawning again waking up more. He didn't sit up yet, still drowsy. "Did you...sleep well Kanade?"

Kanade was surprised. "What?! How did you know it was me? I was really quiet and everything?" she said in shock. She stood up to meet Mori's height and looked into his eyes. "Don't tell me you can see now?!" she said sounding a bit happy. When he asked how she slept. "I slept great, but onii-chan fell asleep on his desk." she said with a giggle.

Mori chuckled lightly, shaking his head. "I'm sorry to get your hopes up...but no I still can't see. I just felt your presence...I'm getting better at telling who it is near me." Smiling, he sat up and reached patting her on the head. As she said about sleeping great, "that's good," though chuckled about Kirito. "Aww well that's not good...wonder if he finished all his work though...and at least he got some sleep." Whenever he nodded off anyway.

Kanade nodded. "Oh, I see." she said with a smile. Looking over to Kirito she shook her head. "He's not suppose to be sleeping though. What if someone needed him and he was too sleepy." she said. "Mori-san, let's go eat breakfast." she said pulling him towards the kitchen. Her mother had made ham, eggs, a few vegetables, and handmade juice. "Mom, is the best cook." she said sitting on the table chair.

kotaro17 Mori nodded, "that makes sense...but also it's better if he gets some sleep...because what if he had been up for days not sleeping and just collapsed and couldn't help anyone then." So it was iffy both ways. He pat her head, smiling and nodded, "yes let's go eat." He followed as she pulled him. Smelling the food, his stomach growling. "Mhm well I can believe that, it all smells so great."

Kanade helped set the plates and helped Mori sit. "Ill be back. I have to get Nii-chan." she said as she left the kitchen and into the clinic. "NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" yelled Kanade and then all that was heard was a large thud from Kirito. He groaned in pain and was drowsy as he stumbled from the clinic. "Ahh, Kanade next time just shake me or something." he said sitting next to Mori and leaning on his shoulder. "Morning. Mori-san." he said giving out a large yawn.

Mori nodded, chuckling as he heard her feet pattering off across the floor and her loud wake up to Kirito. He stretched and got himself out of the bed a bit, sitting on the edge. Giggling as he heard Kirito, "Good morning," grinning it was funny how Kanade went to go wake him. "So you were up all night huh?" Wishing he could help with his work so Kirito actually got to sleep at a better time.
