((Ah, shattered dreams... I'm debating whether or not to... twisted EDIT: I debated it, and even had to toss a coin... but Astra, I am SO sorry about this...))  Ashnod
His eyes darting about the garden, Ash finally spotted Kira playing the violin, slowly... ever so slowly due to the noise interfering with his natural thought process, it dawned on him that the noise was coming from the Violin. Taking one hand off his ears he lit the strings on the violin on fire, snapping them quickly, stopping the noise and returning a semblance of sweet peace to his warped brain. "For hell's sake, is that how you humans greet a guest? I mean I know I waltzed in uninvited, but REALLY?!"

Yosuke broke from his little trance the second the music stopped. What the hell? Who was...wait. He used fire. And he quite obviously wasn't Ryan. This...was this a demon? A cold sweat broke upon the young man. He wasn't afraid but...he thought they were just myths. That he wouldn't ever actually have to fight a living being to the death. Anxiety was what welled in Yosuke, but he had to put it aside. This probable demon was already targeting Kira. He had to at least bring any attention or possible attacks to himself. He rushed in front of Kira, providing as much cover as his frame could give.
"HEY!!! What the hell are you doing on my property!?" Yosuke growled. "I'll call the cops if you don't leave this instant!" He tried to say threateningly.

Ashnod watched as Yosuke came rushing out of the house and threw himself in front of the human who'd been causing his ears distress. He laughed heartily at Yosuke's threat, and his actions. "You're funny, police? I kill dozens of gang members each day for sport, police don't scare me, nor do you. Count your blessings that I am not here for you, you don't look anything like who I'm looking for... Too scrawny." Ash chastised Yosuke, turning to look at the house, he began walking only to stop short of three steps. "Eh... it isn't the girl, is it? I do so hope it's not the girl... That'd be absolutely horrifying..." ((OOC:Wouldn't dream of it... *lies* Nah, Ash is fine now, that was all I was planning on doing. Now he's just gonna mock you guys!))

But he hadn't put out the strings. Had not saved her hair. Had not saved her face. Kira screamed at the fire, pulling the instrument away only seconds too late. The strings snapping from the heat and lashing her face. Her glasses snapping cleanly in half from the force. The wooden instrument thudded into the flowerbed. Kira let out a sob, holding her face as blood pooled between her fingers. She sank to her knees, sobbing, seething- the flowers around her drooping and wilting as if, they too, had been struck. Below the feet of her attacker the earth began to shift. ((OOC: ^________^ ow

Hearing the scream the Fire Demon quickly realized what had just happened and his mistake along with it. Oops... Forgot the fire... Maybe the single string thing would've been a better choice... He contemplated as he quickly addressed the girl. "Sorry, that's on my head... well yours, but my fault. This will sting a little but I'll fix it." He told her as he manipulated the heat of the air, cauterizing the wounds almost instantly, making sure not to hurt the girl any further, then he turned his attention to the instrument, willing the fire out with a glance.
He shrugged off the little incident, sitting down on a rock near his feet, not noticing the ground beneath him shifting. "Anyway, sorry about that again, I just couldn't stand that awful racket. My name's Ashnod the Crimson by the way. I imagine you can tell why." The demon said with a blank expression.

Time slowed as Yosuke realized what was happening. "KIRA!?" There was bloodandshewascryingshitshitshitshitshit. Oh god, that SON OF A b***h HURT HER. Then this a*****e had the NERVE to TOUCH HER WITH THAT s**t!? Why was yosuke so goddamn stupid!? He should've put out the fire before anything! He was so useless at defending her when she really needed it! It was his job to take care of everyone...
A flashback played in yosuke's mind; 'Don't worry guys! No big dumb demons will ever touch you while I'm around! They'll all be runnin' Cus I'm tough!!' He promised all of his friends when they were still all children. The first ever demon they ever met, the first attack in this entire war, and he had already broken his promise. But. He had no goddamn intention of doing so again.
Yosuke stayed in front of Kira, prepared to soak up anything that came towards he, and die if need be. "I...I don't give a s**t who you are. Or what you want. But if you don't leave. NOW. I will.." He paused. He couldn't bring himself to say kill. Yosuke was no killer. Trying to recover, he blurted out. "I..will make you."

Nearly toppling over with laughter, Ash wiped a tear from his eyes. "Yes, a runt like you giving me orders, you remind me of our leader. Thinking you can actually do something but really you're just afraid." It seems that without even meaning to Ashnod had gotten to one of them so quickly. At that thought a smile crossed his lips, seeming out of place in the situation.
"Well if she got hurt by that then she must not be the one I'm looking for, tell me, do you know where they are? I know they're one of you, so I figured I'd stop in to get directions." He knew his explanation was more than likely wasted on this boy, and the girl was clearly in too much pain to help, so he stood from the rock and walked toward the house once more. "Well, you're obviously not going to be any help, so I guess I'll just take a look around..." He stated nonchalantly. ((Well played Astra, well played... And Yosuke didn't see anything that just happened, Kira's hands are covering her face, and Ash didn't use fire, just the heat.))

Her face burned and smoldered. She would be scarred- this would not heal. Her hair now several inches shorter here and there. Kira covered her mouth, sobbing, her body wracked with small shakes. How- why... what had happened? She swallowed air- trying- trying to calm, but not finding it. She hear Yosuke yell and could hear a voice to a face she'd never heart before. Was... was that voice the cause of her pain? Yes. A flame burned in her mind. He was. How could he do this to her? That voice. She would hate him for eternity. Kira stood up, her body trembling like a leaf in the wind. Her burned hand balled into a fist as the other pointed in the direction of the blur she knew wasn't Yusuke. Her tiny voice wavered, " St-stop." The earth shifted again, this time faster- becoming gummy and deep. ((OOC: ^_____^ owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ))

Yosuke didn't really give a crap about what this..thing was going on about. "Like. Hell. You. Are." He quickly flipped his headphones upon his head, a gleam of blue light shone through their casings. He strafed around Kira, making sure to always be a meat-shield between her and Ashnod. He vaguely noticed what Kira was doing, and heard her plea. Then swept his arm, and a torrent of water rushed inbetween the fire demon and his home, as quickly as it came, it formed a wall of ice to further impede him. This demon was going nowhere except out. "LEAVE."
There were a number of clouds in the area. Not a lot, but enough for what he needed.
((He can control heat too in a way, except just making things colder instead of hotter. Deus ex machina explanation: Hardly matters. He's sufficiently pissed either way. PS; Damn. ._. For a small flame that did some massive damage.))

The ice wall now blocking his path, Ashnod closed his eyes for a moment and sighed, then turned to face Yosuke. "You boy are a nuisance. This little wall of yours weak and flimsy, and your friend there rather... sad." As Ashnod spoke, he stepped up to the wall and breathed on it, his breath turning into fire as it left his lips, melting its way through the wall, quickly evaporating the water as well. "Now leave me be, I didn't mean to hurt the girl, it was an accident, and I even helped to fix the wound I left. Her hair will grow back, and her scars will heal with time, she'll be fine. I can't say the same for you if you continue to try and bar my path while I'm looking for my other half." Finally revealing his reason for having appeared Ashnod kicked the wall, heating his foot so that it went straight through, he then followed it with the rest of his body, making a large enough hole for him to exit through.

Although Yosuke's expression was grim, and brows furrowed in intense rage. He could not help but congratulate himself mentally. 'Son of a b***h fell for it.' With a flick of the wrist, the water molecules in the air now surrounding the Fire demon condensed back into their original state of plain water splashing over Ashnod. He could melt the ice all he wanted. Matter could never be destroyed. 'Not going to be that easy, p***k. He remained silent though, only focusing on his born opponent. Yosuke's mentor of his powers was rather unconventional. It was his chemistry teacher. 'H2O is indeed quite an amazing element. No matter what state it takes, it can always be recycled. Gas can once again become liquid, and liquids can always turn to solids.'
It was apparent that he was after Ryan. Who wasn't in tip-top fighting condition after Yosuke nullified him earlier. He wasn't about to let this a*****e have the pleasure, nor let Sarah be in danger either.
((I agree. But, still wanted to spring the trap, sorry. ^_^" Also, Kira was trapping Ash with earth.))

Wiping the water off his face, the demon grunted, rather upset at this point, for once, someone was getting under his skin. "Nice trick boy, but I have one of my own. Wanna see?" Ashnod asked, seeming almost entirely unphased by the water which now dripped from his body. Grinning from ear to ear, steam slowly began to rise from Ash's body as he increased the heat of his skin greatly, instantly evaporating any water that came into contact with his body, and easily allowing him to melt ice by proximity. "You may be able to stop my fire, but heat is in everything, even when wet. I can still fight when wet if I want, lucky for you, I don't want to, I just want to meet my other half, and be gone."
Ash tried to take a step forward, but found his foot stuck in the ground, nearly making him lose his balance. "Well now, this is interesting, can't be you, then it's the girl who's controlling the earth. good to know, but I'm growing impatient with you two. Release me now and I won't harm you girl." His tone rose a little as the irritation began setting in.
