When the traffic cooled down and Ace could finally talk to Freya again he held a wide grin on his little demon face. "See? You seeeee?" he chuckled and looked away smugly.

Feeling a little anxious himself Ace had to go ahead and open another booster pack for himself. The more he sold and gave away the more he was along to sneak for himself. Unfortunately this pack was just deck building fodder more than anything else.

Tybalt seemed to have the same sort of luck and the greed demon shrugged. "That's your call, I mean the pumpkin pills are great for decks but don't sell for as much as the character cards."

This was a little strange. Of all the golems he had been in, Deryk had never been so tiny before. Not only that, he had been fortunate enough to always end up in a male body. Not this time. He was petite. He was female. And... he had cat ears.

"..I feel slightly ridiculous. Yes. Just. Just a little," he sighed while feeling his ears. Then, he glanced behind him to see the cat tail as well. It was white.

"Yes. Just a little."

Ok. So he was some sort of small female cat demon. His voice was sounding weird too. Had they fixed the voice issues with golems? So. That meant he just had to act the part right? Something about this made him a little uneasy, but they were just here to grab minipets. Just. Minipets. He could do this.

Wandering over towards one of the booths, he noticed it had some sort of TCG going on.

"Ooooh? Cards nyah~?"

Deryk. Died a little inside. Saying that. Shaking his head, he opened up a booster pack and looked at what he got. Two uncommons and the rest were commons. The uncommons were a phoenix and a candy cane.

"Oooooh."

Ariane still wasn't sure what to make of being tiny Asian height; she did not mind the excess hair - and she found herself with lots of hair everywhere, even in not so visible places because she could feel it - or the wolf tail and ears, but the height? The height really bothered her.

It did not take her long to locate Deryk, but only because of his speech patterns. Approaching him, she was about to tap him on his shoulder when she heard something that caused her lips to curl upwards into an amused grin.

"Nyah?" She echoed, paused, and then burst out laughing, "Ain't you a cutie?" She paused to look at the booth, picking up one of the booster packs before opening it, pulling the cards out. After looking them over, she held out of the uncommons, "Eh, redeeming this in."

She would rather have a minipet.

[Ariane is a gruff-sounding werewolf boil with dark brown fur, and is almost 5 feet tall.

Rep's initial reaction to the mission posting had been scepticism, he hadn't been entirely sure what to make of an optional mission after the last golem escapades - but money was always interesting and once he arrived and checked out what they were supposed to do, he had been all ears.

As he wandered along the booths his naturally arrogant bearing made him very much fit the golem shape he'd landed with, a short haughty looking demon in military slanted attire. However, there was a bit of a spring in his step, the island had been ******** dull as dust lately in the interim between missions, so an outing like this was fascinating. Every single booth wanted his attention, but he found himself first of all drawn to one which seemed to be set out with trading cards.

Back home he wouldn't be able to go within several meters of a trading card shop for fear of damaging his non-geek credibility beyond redemption, here it didn't matter at all. Picking up one of the free booster packs, he eyed it curiously, the parallels between the two worlds were always vaguely jarring to him even now.

He had to roll his eyes and remind Tracey he was bloody well going to open the damn thing if he held his horses.

Claws it turned out, were a complete pain, and it took a good few moments before he managed to get access to the cards within, spreading them out to check them out. Comparing them against the others, it looked like he'd gotten a pack of common fillers and one solitary uncommon - a card which sported an image of a phoenix with its wings spread wide.

Tracey enthused.

Rep just vaguely found himself wanting more cards and realising that was probably the point in the freebies.

Deryk let out a squeak as he heard someone sort of mocking him. Was it someone he knew? He couldn't really tell right now. It was a werewolf though.

"O-oh. Thank you. Nyah~" he managed to get out, "Y-you're a cute puppy, nyah!"

Again, he was dying a little on the inside. Tooley was laughing a lot. She wasn't helping.

"Oh, I don't know about that," Ariane chuckled, "Would you like a ball of yarn?" Come on, get the hint!

"The name's Ari, by the way."

That must be enough hints for Deryk, right?

HEY, Ace didn't discriminate. Ghouls were lucky at this booth especially lucky nekos or whatever Deryk was. He couldn't resist though when she asked him as obvious as a question as 'cards?' and sneered. "Naw they're jelly beans OF COURSE they're cards," the greed demon scoffed sarcastically then turned to Ariane. "Redeeming? Now what about this booth says you can redeem stuff," he teased her as well. They hadn't shown up at his booth before and right now he was feeling extra cocky.

Deryk stared at the werewolf... Balls. Ari... OH. Maybe it was Ariane. Well. He hoped so. He better play it safe. Just in case. Maybe he could drop some sort of secret code hint type thing. Be all death hunter like and whatnot.

"Noooo. No ball of yarn, no. I'm.. uh.. Dee Dee! You.. kind of look familiar. Do you have a cousin maybe? Named Kintama? Nyaaah?"

Turning towards the demon manning the booth, his eyes went wide for a moment. Was the sarcasm really needed? He qq'd inside.

"Well then. What can we do with these cards, nyah?"

The glitter-monster was unaware of his fellow hunters-in-golems as he came up to the booth. There were... trading cards?! Being given away?! OwO!!!! He was quick to take a pack of his own, opening it eagerly, the pinpoints of light that were his eyes shining even brighter.

When he opened it, however, he saw only one card over and over again: EVENT-All My Friends are Dead

OAO!!!!!!!!!! TTATT!!!!!!!!!!!

He almost missed he had a Rare DEMON-Arel. Which he realized he didn't quite like and decided to give it back >C He'll... see if he can trade the other cards with those around.

Ace rolled his eyes finally and held a hand out to finally take their cards while his other drummed impatiently. "Oh for Jack's sake, yes they're redeemable," he snorted and tried to force a smile. "Not one of you found much though, that's incredible bad luck." Really, none of them found anything of real value. "You're always free to try again but not for prizes. And it will cost ya," he said, "but you'll get some good deck building cards, ya?"

And then there was Before. Who shined like a diamond and literally grabbed Ace's full attention.

Rin approached the booth curiously as she - presently he noticed the growing crowds and excitement surrounding it. It was then she noticed Rep and approached him, "Hey man, whatcha got there?" Without waiting for an answer she looked clear over his head at his precious collection of cards he'd already had in his possession . It wasn't minis but it still looked equally interesting. Then Rep had his cards taken to be 'redeemed' so that was how it worked?... She quickly tore into her own pack and offered the cards without even looking, "Redeeming too?"

Before held out the rare card to Ace, "Ohs, I can get something else for this here card?" he asked with a tilt of his head, his eyes glittering even brighter in delight. Then turning to some of the other students(?) present.

"Any of you gots doubles you don't mind trading?" he asked.
