Making his way over to a familiar booth, Aedan picked up an apple, taking a big bite. It was tasty, both tart and sweet. But, as with the last time, he felt a little...odd. And there was that voice again. This had to be the strangest game of all, he thought idly. The word Sleep? Reaching out in front of him, he fingered a card:
Bed.
He blinked, and found himself staring at the scarecone booth. Weird.

Apples again, grrrr, you'd think whoever ran this booth could at least put a different fruit out. Would it hurt you to use banana or strawberries? Really? The tip of his tail twitching every moment, Sheridan glared at the cards for only a short moment before choosing one.

Mayaa frowned as she listened to the word echo in her head after eating on of the apples again. The only thing she could think of was
FIREBALL
She shuddered. What an unpleasant thought.
Then she found herself standing in front of another booth again...

The voices and the words combined... Manyara bit through her apple with a furious crunch. There was only one option, and when she didn't see it on either card she scraped it into the paper with one claw.
HOME.
... Home, home, home. She reduced the apple to its very essence before swallowing it all, tasting bitterness.

The festival was huge, and her minipet haul was growing. So far, Sherry felt like things were going really well. And then she found herself standing in front of the strange gray booth with the apples. "This odd little place again. I think we'll have another look." Still seemed to be empty, aside from the apples of course. But as soon as she was holding one, another word was whispered from nowhere. "HOT" this time. So odd. Made even odder by the cards that appeared. For several long moments, Sherry looked everything over. Then she chose a card. SWEATThe next thing she remembered, she was somewhere else, still holding that apple. "So very odd." ((x1 Apple)) Quote: Sherry is currently almost 6ft tall and a Female Lust Demon.

Lihua picked up an apple and bit into it. She was never going to get enough of thi booth. The only problem was the voice that wouldn't shut up.
She took out a pen and wrote down what she thought.
"When I think of hot I think of Fire demon"
They were hot.

Why could he not find a card that said Miss Danny? Yin frowned and frowned at the cards, slightly upset. Then he just simply picked a card that said Friend. Friend's were hot, yep.

Reducing the apple to its core before playing his card this time, Senga frowned, shuffling through the different word choices with a vague sense of nostalgia. Sooner or later, he pushed one forward and left it behind as he disappeared to another booth.
Death laid face up; not the best word choice but... well. He was most certainly not going to choose some of the other options that presented themselves on that table. Nope, not at all.

Acerium couldnt help it. It wasnt cannibalism if it wasn't Acer saccarum... right? She was (probably, technically, in all likelihood...) a Sugar Maple... Or based off of one... Or whatever.
And it wasn't. It was an apple of some kind. If she felt like bothering to Identify it, she probably could try, but for all she knew they were summoned apples...
So, she popped another one in her mouth.
Hot.
what was hot.
...
...
Not fire. Screw fire.
She would NOT choose fire.
Summer.
She woke up elsewhere. Again. Urgh.

Hot... well she knew a lot of things that were hot. Fire, of course, but this felt like one of those tests that you had to look beyond what the obvious answer might be. Pondering, Ev tapped a manicured claw under a plump bottom lip.
Spices.
She knew her plants, and had plenty of spicy foods in her day. If anything was close to being like fire, it was definitely spicy foods!
