Ami had never considered herself good at archery. They had runic bows and arrows, but she'd always considered those a little too old fashioned when she could just pick up a runic gun.
There was minipet-cash on the line though. She concentrated, using the best of her abilities. She wasn't a crack shot by any means, but her training with her guns was at least helping.
She totaled her score and then turned to the one that looked like he was in charge. "Ah ... I think that means I won a minipets?" she asked, feigning innocence. I won I won! Rhiannon made her way over to the archery booth. Paying she picked up a bow and started to fire.
She was delighted to get two bulls-eyes. She winced as one of the arrows went off coarse. "Sorry. I didn't hit anyone, did I?

Niyakami As Maiko approached the booth she spotted the arrows "Archery?" She grinned with a determined look. "Hmm, this could be fun." The wolf demon liked skill games better then luck games anyway. Especialy since she usualy didn't have very good luck. So she paid for the arrows and tried her go and shooting the arrows. She grumbles to herself and picks the small arrow as a consalation prize since she didnt win a mini pet or token. OOC:Sorry but I didn't know my arrow had to be quoted to be confirmed. Can I have my arrow confirmed or do I have to try again to um lose and get another arrow? o.o

Senga was back, and sucked even harder at archery this time. Sorry, Tseng, your booth does not deserve this level of idiocy. Especially that arrow that might or might not have missed the target completely.

Still wanting to use her fists instead of the bow, Poke shot at the targets once more, but this time her arrows were flying wide and far. One even flew over the booth. "Oops..." she said, hoping that she didn't shoot someone in the knee by accident. But at least she was able to picked up a little feathered arrow for her efforts, the cute little design attracting her attention (as she was straining to hear any shouts of pain from behind the booth. blade kuroda Is it too late to confirm a consolation prize? Bows? Hah! Bows were for wimps. Bows were for people who couldn't be bothered with close combat because they didn't want to get blood on their prissy robes, weeeeeeeh.
This didn't stop Manyara from grabbing the test bow, giving the Conquest Horseman the side-eye, and letting fly. The arrows flew somewhat proud and somewhat true, and a number of them even found the target. That was easy.
Hah. If an untrained Famine brat could do that well... how sissy were these, anyway?! She stuck out her tongue, smugly.
((Already has the summonses so just for shits and giggles and irritation 8D))

A bunch of sad misses, the wolfos hoped to land a bull's eye at the end. After all, he was good enough he should be able to right? No, he wasn't, that was luck. Jove you lucky foxfire, where were you when he needed you? (Frost was amused that he kept thinking how the smaller ghost boil had 'helped' him win. Coincidence or not, the timing had been spot on). Steeling himself, the white wolfos brought the bow back up, trying to aim at the target with precision. There was no telling where the arrows would hit, but, then again, he had no training. Ask the horsemne? Nope. He didn't plan on it. He'd figure it out on his own.
Even if he did end up hitting himself in the face with the bow itself once. He hit his own hand with the string twice earning himself a small cut. Nasty things, weapons. It was a wonder why people used them. Fangs or no, no weapon thus far had impressed Frost in the Storm. Then again, he was bias in his own abilities. As he sent the arrows to the target he nodded. Better, but still not the best he could do. Frost would push himself. He'd get the bull's eye sooner or later.

Mort had honestly never tried his hand at archery, but . . . It had to be better than trying Mot's guns, right?
Well, sorta.
Three managed to get somewhat close (or really close for one) to the bullseye, but the other two embedded themselves closer to the outside. Still, arrows were far better than guns in that the zomboil wasn't paranoid the weapons would turn on him and try to make nasty little holes. Or loud, loud noises. Or headshots.
. . . Did they?

It was getting lonelier, and lonelier. Freya was now dragging her feet from booth to booth, finding less spirit to rouse than she normally would when she picked up the archery set and let the arrows fly. She didn't even aim..

The day started off well. He'd gotten up, eaten some breakfast, let Endzela out for a hunt. He got a lovely gift from Freya.
Well, he thought it was a lovely gift at first. Until it exploded on him and covered him with glitter pretty much head-to-toe. Mostly his face was covered in the stuff and he was pretty sure the glitter got all up in his dreads and eugh.
Eugh.
Kettil stared at the remains of his 'gift' with a sort of a blank look on his face before he just got his boots on and left, slamming the door shut behind him. He was mostly amused but that didn't mean he was going to let Freya get away with it. Oh no. He needed to thank her personally for her gift to him.
The Muut thought he saw a familiar towheaded ghoul at a certain booth and he followed her, at a distance at first, and then he got nearer.
"FREYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH," he suddenly bellowed, "IT IS TIME THAT I THANKED YOU FOR EVERYTHING."
Prepare for a thankful Kettil. So thankful he wanted to VENGEFULLY HUG YOU FOREVER.

Ariane had stolen taken two silver seeds from somewhere, and spent them at this... Arrow-shooting booth. Her thoughts immediately went to Bix, and how she's glad that he's not around to see her fail at handling the bow and arrows that she had been provided.
"I'll take that," She pointed at the arrow-looking object among the booth's prizes.
