Fourteen: Hufflepuff SeekerAriana smiled smugly. Knew it, she thought, looking up at Katrina and Heather when she took her eyes off the sheet of paper in her girlfriend's hands. An even larger smile plastered across the redhead's face when the blonde complimented her. "Thanks! I like your earrings," she said as she walked closer in an attempt to read what was written on them. Ariana turned her head to look at Steele when he made his presence known. She turned back to Katrina when she mentioned Chase, then looked at Heather, anticipating an answer. Before her friend could answer, something else caught her attention. Or rather, someone. She was about to confirm that this was the Music Room, but Steele had gotten to the boy first. Dang it, what's his name again? she wondered, having trouble remembering what letter it even started with. Ariana waved at Alaric when he waved towards her and the other two Hufflepuff girls who were with her. As more and more people started to show up, the girl turned to face her girlfriend once more. ❀ℱourth ϒear❀ ℋalf~ℬlood❀Heather and DhylanSehza ℋeather raised an eyebrow at Kat's question. Chase had a crush? Interesting. "I don't know if we're close or not, but he's my friend. I didn't know he had a crush on someone, but... Awww! That's so sweet!" she replied. She couldn't lie to herself. Chase liking someone that way was adorable. She saw Tobi come in and start chatting with Steele, and she waved at the first year. "Hey, Tobi." she greeted. At Ari's suggestion to begin, Heather looked around the room, then found a nice seat to sit down in as she waited for the meeting to officially start. A first year girl played a song on her guitar, which could possibly be redder than Ariana's hair, and Heather clapped softly for her. She noticed Caitlin as well, and offered the girl a miniscule wave as a hello.

What am I doing? Music Club.
What am I thinking? First meeting of the year! Katrina made a face and nodded glumly when Heather answered that she didn't know. Ariana mentioned that they should start the club soon. Sam and Chase still weren't here. She frowned again and sighed. "Alright everyone. We're going to get started in just a moment. Can everyone please take a seat. Basically, this club started cause me and my friends wanted to gather and play music, sing and whatnot. Now, you don't have to perform, but it is recommended. If you can sing, play an instrument or want to learn, or you just love music, this is the place for you. Everyone, I think we should introduce ourselves, since we have some new faces, and state what we play. I'm Katrina Radcliffe, and I play the piano and the violin, am learning the guitar, and sing."Out of Character ...

Hufflepuff|4th year|Muggle-Born|Single Why must I be judged upon the purity of my blood? Steele watched as they started introducing himself. He then stood up. "If no one else is going. What's up, name's Steele. I play Guitar, Piano, some drums, the ukulele and I sing," he said, realizing how much of a braggart he probably sounded like, but he truthfully played all of those. He hoped the people didn't think of him as such. Will I ever be the same?

♫ Dating: Samuel Meridith.  Caitlin looked up at Kat when she started speaking. She waited until it was her turn, "I'm Caitlin Engels...I play the viola, guitar, and piano, and I sing, but I'm still rough around the edges," 'More like jagged...' She thought to herself. Cait looked up at Sam when he said he played guitar as well. She raised an eyebrow, his brothers told the truth then. Caitlin looked at the guitar he had with him. It was beautiful, her's was a bit old, because it was borrowed.

She had asked Erik if he wanted to come with her to the club, and he'd said yes. She was hoping he'd get there soon, because she didn't really know anyone else in the club. She'd talked to Kat once or twice and Cait was of course Gracie's best friend, but besides that she was helplessly alone and socially awkward. She took a seat and sighed, pulling her knees to her chest. When it came her turn to introduce herself she glanced hopefully at the door, but Erik had yet to appear so she rested her chin on her knees. "I'm Ver....." She said quietly. "I um... sing... p-play the piano... and my sister is teaching me how to play violin...." She trailed off awkwardly and looked down at the floor. She hated how bad she was at being social. Somtimes she wished she could be bright and peppy like Elli. Elli didn't have social anxiety or issues talking to people. Ver sighed quietly again, and played with the hem on her shorts.

Alaric nodded at Tobi. Strange he forgot, considering that was all Alaric did that summer aside from flying.When it was his turn to introduce himself, he stood and have an awkward half-wave.
"Hey I'm Alaric and I play guitar, kind of sing, and I'm learning a bit of piano."
He sat back down. It was good to finally see who all these people were. He hasn't known all of their names.

She couldn’t even remember whom she’d overheard within the common room, but, Cersei couldn’t let her curiosity go no matter how hard she tried. She tiptoed gently, but her shoes still gently clacked against the stone floor as she approached a door she thought to be the right one.
Hell, after wandering past six different doors, she’d swear she’d just walk in headfirst by now.
But instead, she crept, like every time before. Working up the nerve to knock, she listened in and heard exactly what she’d hope she’d hear. Smiling wistfully, she brushed amber locks of hair out of her eyes and pushed the door open with one fell swoop and glanced at all of the smiling faces, each and every one of them gathered for the same reason. Music. Cersei stared, almost awestruck, at all of the people and instruments that were in the room.
Then she noticed that introductions were being made. Grinning, she cleared her throat, as if it wasn’t obvious enough that she burst in the middle of Alaric’s speech. But when it was her turn, she waved at them all. ”Wow, bloody hells, I didn’t think I’d actually find this place, heheh,
“I’m Elizabeth Burke, but, my friends all call me Cersei, and, I sing and play the piano, but, I really want to learn bass guitar,” she concluded with a giggle.

As Iris waited to Newlyn to answer, she took notice of the group that was gathering together. She could hear them introducing each other and mentioning what they played or whether they sang.
"That's a music club...." Iris said to herself as she waved to get their attention, not waiting to leave Newlyn since she had so nicely came up to her. "Hey Hey!! Hey! My name is Iris Haruno. I'm a first year Gryffindor. And I play the guitar, both electric and acoustic, the cello." she said enthusiastically. She then added slowly and uncertainly. "And I dabble in...singing... Sometimes...You know when I can...."
She bit her lip and held onto Roxanne as she spoke. She didn't bring up her singing often or sung publicly... Just something that she remembered from her old school... Kids could be so mean.....
"So you guys are part of a music club or something... I didn't know that Hogwarts had one...."

He sat down next to her and took her hand, making her blush just slightly. Her chin fell back down to her knees, a smile still playing on her lips. "Hey there... I thought you might not be coming..."
