Lyle wandered over to where some old people were standing around some marks on the deck that reminded him of hopscotch. But then one of the old people pushed a disc onto the marks, which wasn't part of hopscotch at all. After watching a minute he asked what was going on. Someone explained the game to him and it sounded kinda fun, so he asked if he could give it a try. They gave him one of the sticks and some discs and let him at it.
He stood on the line, lined up his stick with the disc, and shoved.

A chorus of disappointed "awws" went up when Lyle's third disc stayed on 7. Well, he had one more...
But that landed on a 7, too.
(8 + 10 + 7 + 7 = 32)
Still, all the old guys clapped and congratulated him on his score. One of them handed him a strange coin and a berry for doing so well. Lyle stared at them, having not expected prizes, then decided to try again.
