Jennifer had this sudden feeling and called Akira to tell him something important. She couldn't wait till he picked up the phone.

Akira heard his phone ring and picked up. "Hello?" he asked, taking the cigarette out of his mouth to talk more clearly.

Jennifer smiled."Akira if you're smoking then don't. Those things are going to catch up to you one day you know. Daddy needs to be strong and healthy you know." she said softly.

Akira chuckled to himself. "Look, I appreciate that you care about me, but this is something that will take me quiet awhie to break, but don't worry, I won't smoke anywhere near you, or the baby." he said, reassuring her.

Jennifer giggled."I'm completely serious, Akira. Oh yes and another thing. I'll be asking you to do something for me tomorrow after my shift. Please make sure you are available by then." she said softly.

Akira seemed a bit unsure about what she was planning, however, he went along with it. "Alrighty then, i'll do it." he said as he huffed a bit of smoke. "So, ever heard back from your friend?" he asked, a little curious.

Akira laughed, but a little too much so he ended up coughing. "Sorry, I guess I overreacted, but I already know I won't get a girlfriend, i'm too much of an a-hole for that." he said as he put out his cigarette.

Akira blushed when she started complementing him, that is until she told him to be himself. He laughed, but stopped moments later. "Look, I don't think I can actually be myself around women, for many obvious reasons, one of them being that i'm too much like my father." he said with a sigh as he lit up another cigarette just thinking about it. "But i'm not going to talk to you about that...yet..." he said as he started smoking that one cigarette.

Jennifer was a bit confused at what he said about him being like his father. Was that a bad thing or a good thing? She wondered this then heard him light a cigarette in the background."Put it out, Akira!" she said sternly.

He jumped when she yelled at him. "Jeez...fine.." he said as he put out the cigarette. "Why not pester your friend? I'm sure he'll love to get pestered by you." he said, laughing to himself.

Jennifer was becoming annoyed with him."For the last time, his name is Daichi! And maybe I will pester him. Geez. You talk more about 'my friend' than I do. Do you...like like Daichi, Akira?" she aske dyin then began to laugh at her little joke.
