A: OUT ((As you walk off the bird watches you. The bird feels like it’s forgotten something. It remembers when it hears you scream. “Oh yeah…look out for that pit trap the humans dug a few days back!” It shouts before darting off not wanting to take the blame for the little accident.))

We don’t know any more than you do.” It then starts on a lecture about how horrible it is being the middle man and how they deserve answers too and how unfair the world is. By the time it’s finished with you neither of you quite remember what you were doing.))

5) The little bird considers for a moment before fluttering about excitedly. “There’s a trap!” It cries suddenly. “Just up ahead! I’m supposed to warn people about that too. Just stick to the side and you’ll be fine.” You feel the blood drain from your face. That seemed like pretty critical information to have left out originally.

A: OUT ((The bird glowers at you. “What? You think I’m that forgetful?” It snaps puffing out its chest. You’ve realized that this bird is rather unstable two seconds too late. You find yourself racing down the path back to the beach with a pissed off bird pecking at you.))

B: OUT ((Taking the birds advice you walk along the left side of the path. You can see where the earth has been moved recently and covered. You let out a sigh of relief glad to not fall victim to such a trap. You pick up your pace feeling less cautious then find yourself suddenly falling forward with a sharp pain in your right-back ankle. You got caught on a tree root. You call for help not liking the angle that your hoof is now pointing. Your mission to help has been forgotten.))

6) You make your way past the pitfall without incident and make your way along the path that leads slowly up the mountain. Every now and then the ground shudders and you pick up your pace. You need to find that mare that’s collecting helpers. After a long while you discover that you’ve reached a fork in the road. One path appears to be heading further up the mountain and you can hear something moving just out of sight. The other path appears to be heading back down. You can’t hear anything but it looks as though others have passed down this way. The mountain shakes under hoof once again, you need to pick your path and quickly.
What do you do?
A: Take the path headed down, that noise could be made by anything. For all you know it could be a wildcat wanting a meal.
B: Take the path headed up, those tracks could be old for all you know and that noise is probably the others taking a breather.
C: Forget moving on there are people back on that beach that should be warned!
