Kiwi glanced around them. Heidla had a point. Some of the minipets were ones possessing strange markings that looked eerily similar to Hunters. But if that were true, it appeared they were outmatched in numbers. It probably wasn't wise to fight amongst themselves here. He shook his head. "I don think that would be wise. If the hunters are here, it appears we are outmatched. In fact, I've only met one clansman besides yourself the entire time I've been a pixiepuff." He spoke the name with just a touch of disdain. "It's probably best not to let our guard down around the Hunters. Focus on collecting the fragments, and try to ignore their lies." Kiwi lifted his gaze to the castle's towers gleaming so far above. "... And Heidla, does that castle look familiar to you?? ... Wasn't there one like it in the illusion Medea created before the portal shattered?? ... I feel it may be important."

Shun continued to pay mind to the shard. It wasn't until Mitsu had lifted him up that he made any other movements again. And he sure did move. He began to squirm in her grasp, flapping his wings and trying to get out while clinging to the shard that he now held in his mouth.

Because it was in his mouth, he couldn't actually tell her to let him go, so instead he was just hissing angrily.

He knew it! She was betraying him right now! She was going to... do something. Maybe kill him. He wasn't sure what but this was it.

The Daeva-reaper continued to squirm and flail about in Mitsu's mouth. Hissing, he glared up at her before he eventually stopped enough to the point where he was pretty much hanging there limply. Shun was not pleased at all.

"You follow me and you see what happens," Harrison hissed at Sammy. "Nobody said you could come either, dumbass, what did I just say?"

Harrison jumped on a shard, and it blinked out like the other one. He seethed, frustrated.

"I don't trust you. I don't want to see you, I don't want to talk to you, I don't want to be in the same ******** messed up space room as you." He tried for another one, and screeched with pain as it did something awful to his arm before he could pull back. And then he reached for it again. He was bent on collecting the pieces no matter what the consequences.

He wasn't going to trail after them like a pathetic, lovesick puppy. Wasn't that what they wanted? ... Jordan shook his head hard. No. Not my thoughts, he reminded himself desperately.

He placed himself instead between the scareon and his friends. His back itched with an awful anticipation of attack, but he ignored it as best as he could. "Leave them alone," he hissed at Sammy. "We've got enough problems without your interference. You don't know a ******** thing about us. Go take up a collection yourself if you want to be helpful."

His tail flicked, indicating the shards hanging in the void. Whether the scareon took his suggestion or not, he was going to keep her away from what was his. Even if what was his was an illusion.

The anger was like an old friend, it made him feel safe, secure, like an emotional shield, the words still stung, but they didn't wound him, maybe later they'd come back for greater consideration but right now he was intent. <******** listen to yourself! You'd be dead so many times over without this guy and you know it. Whatever the ******** was in those flowers is in your head, and wether its making you, I dunno, say what you can't normally or say weird s**t doesn't matter. What matters is that this isn't you." He wanted to believe he knew him well enough to be able to tell by now.

"Kind of ******** funny too, I've been behind you all this time and you haven't fallen off that cliff yet, amazing isn't it?" He narrowed his eyes at his retreating back as he headed towards the next crystal, his tone changing slightly as he leaned to address the skull in his paw.

"And B0nez mate if you actually want to get the ******** out of this sad excuse for a secret level, you need to get some ******** sense into him. You didn't seem the kind of guy to put up with malware in your system. "

That done, he patiently followed after Harrison yet again. "You are going to have to push me I guess."

Jordan didn't turn to look at Jerry. He crouched down in a tense hunch. "Yeah," he agreed, his voice low and strained. "I'm barely keeping it together at all." The tip of his tail flicked rapidly. "You better. Go look for it. You and Rin, maybe."

He'd stay right here, where he was, and focus on not letting the crazed hatred take him over again.
