It looked like the horsemen were a cursed race because the minute anything for them decided to look up for them, everything - everything went to s**t. Senga's head snapped back and forth between the new appearances and Marcus, and Jay, and - well - everyone, and cursing Aries in a way that would make a whole bucketload of sailors proud, watched as the world warped around him.
This could not be happening.

Well, that plan backfired.
Not that it was much of a plan to begin with, but it was a start. Who would have thought that intimidating a heir would backfire? OH right, She should have. She should have known damn well not to taunt the woman, but she did and had and it was over with. Her own stubborn 'never give up' streak left the woman screaming out wordlessly, eyes trembling, as the woman seared part of her face with just a touch of her hand. Using her energy she kicked and shrieked, trying to get away...
But just as the touch started, and felt like it was there for millennia, it was soon gone. She was too busy clasping her face to even hear the other voices.
There was a voice, a shattering, and a sort of funnel like sensation, before they were all carted off.

Sherry had tried, once or twice, to get up. It hadn't worked. Her shield was gone, she was tired, and for some reason she still hurt.
Everything broke, and it suddenly seemed like she might not die yet.
And then the world changed. Again.

There was a splash of sparkling light, as if all the stars were falling down in a shower. Heidla felt as she was descending the dreamy trance path, and for a moment she had an urge to shake this feeling off her.
Weren't they in the middle of the battlefield just a moment ago? She still remembered rushing at a Hunter woman – though the damage was minor, she could swear it wasn’t an attack to be ignored! Did she cut her down? Or was it someone else to deliver the blow? Now she could not be sure in anything, what was more frightening, she was losing the sight of the enemy.
What for hell was going on? Could it be that the world was swirling and changing shape - a long forgotten trance experience? She could no longer rely on her senses, as everything seemed to be changing shape and smell and colour….as if a giant mirror was broken and all the small fragments were getting the reflection of the world very, very wrong.
Was it something that was supposed to happen? Was it similar to one of the trainings in their Temple long, long ago? Was Medea content with what was going on? Was it according to her plan? Heidla tried to find the head priestess with her eyes, but the atmosphere suddenly became dense and fuzzy, she could barely see her hands in this light.... Could it be that she was caught in one of those distorted reflections?
She closed her eyes and prepared for something to happen.

One minute Kiwi stood, listening to his fellow clansmen discuss the matter at hand, then a sudden beam of light appeared as the illusion shattered entirely, revealing the depths of Amityville.
So Medea did have a few tricks up her sleeve. But a rather strong, commanding one of them had appeared. Kiwi was about to draw his weapon, but before anyone could fully react, the Hunter sent a blast of energy hurling for the portal-
Shards fell everywhere. Kiwi did his best to dodge them, reaching for Eisheth, Mmur, and Heidla, but something else pulled him away ...

Harrison was snickering one moment, dizzy and brave with impending death, but it was hard not to laugh with Rep lying next to him.
He was weak. He couldn't see s**t. He could hear Cass crying, Candace's yell of pain.
"Horseseamen," he repeated, barely able to talk through the laughs.
The world shifted around them, and they were in the forest again- which was still ******** dark, and Allan- Allan-!
Harrison got sucked into the portal with everybody else.

Erintis grumbled slightly when she heard the voices of the hunters, oh well it would be alot more fun if they were just dead...all of them. The clans were strong they didn't need any weak pathetic...wait where was this coming from. Looking around she wondered why everything around her just suddenly broke.

Voices filled her he--oh, it was..the headset. Oh thank god. Candace was about to watch what was happening until she got an arrow to her thigh. She let out a pained cry and fell to the ground, writhing in pain and looking down at the arrow sticking out of her bleeding leg. She didn't get a chance to reply to the horsewoman who had addressed her before the chaos broke around them. And while chaos was normally something she reveled in, but as of late, things had not been going her way. As if sensing she was distracted by the question, the formality of replying to her name, two things happened. The first was Bix bucked her off of him in a way that would have made a rodeo stallion proud. The second was the mirror shattered.
Even before she had hit the ground, she too had been swallowed whole.(First Eris, second is Petra, whom... I didn't get to bring in orz;; wink

Tori had had hear what Allen had said but she hurt so much that she didn't want to move any more, but felt good that they were starting to turn this around when things had broke around then.
But just then when everything was going right, everything changed once more as the world shattered. "Hells bells," she wispered as everything was gone.
