Miles Libertatis Miles hesitated for a moment and then gave her a smile. "Kasumi then," he replied, as if saying her name was a privilege. He held Kasumi in a fighting stance, looking towards the target dummies that were set up all over the sparring area. "Let's try us out," he said confidently as he began resonating with her. He paused for a moment. "Your resonance force is...soft," he said, surprised by it. Then he lunged forwards, swinging her around expertly in a full arc before slicing straight through a dummy, causing it to fall to the ground cut neatly in half. "Let's try the flame katana," he said, looking down at her.

Mood:Happy Kasumi smiled brightly back at him and smiled even more when he said her name. Kasumi faded back as they began to practice."Same here, Miles, I actually like it a lot." Kasumi replied, blushing brightly.As Miles sliced the last dummy, she clapped her hands and smiled."Good job Miles, and let's do it. Flame Katana!"She said, as her blade began to have blue flames.

Miles Libertatis Miles smiled down at her. "Thanks," he replied as he watched the blue flames wash over the blade. "This should be a nice help in combat." He took a few more swings with it, slicing through several more targets. The flames caught the edges of each slice and burned the targets almost to a crisp. "Where did you learn to control your power like this?" He asked her, impressed.

Mood:Happy Kasumi nodded as she faded back into the sword."I hope it's good for combat!"She replied, smiling to herself. She clapped her hands as they finished burning the targets almost to a crisp."Well,it actually came to me while I was with my grandmother. All of a sudden in my thoughts I thought of fire, and there we go,"She replied, looking at him with a blush,"Does that sound weird?"

Miles Libertatis Miles shook his head with a smile. "It's not weird at all. Sometimes new techniques happen in flashes of insight. Not everything can be learned overtime. People have their own unique talents." He was pleased with how well they worked as a team. He flipped her up into the air and caught her. "I think we work well as a team," he told her honestly.

Mimi Nightingale Mimi had made her way to the sparing area and was quietly observing the people that were training while she was hiding in a tree and flossing her teeth as if she didn't care much for what the students were doing.

Ryutaka Rokinju
"Stay in sync with the music"
Ryutaka appears out of his magical symbol from the ground with his guitar.
"Time to make sure I still have my skills in tact in a minute. Seems pretty busy here.
Ryutaka looks at Mimi, wondering why she is isolated from others. He shrugs his shoulders, then walks around the arena playing his guitar not too loud while singing and keeping his wavelengths in sync with the music.

Miles Libertatis Miles nodded. "Food sounds like a good idea," he told her with a smile. He cocked his head slightly as she said she had no place to stay. "Is that so? Neither do I..." He thought for a moment. "I suppose....if you want...we could rent an apartment together. I have some money I was given as a parting gift from my previous school." In a city such as Death City he was sure there were plenty of apartments they could rent. He looked over suddenly as a young man appeared from a circle on the floor and began walking around, singing and strumming a guitar. At first Miles was concerned that he might be a demon attempting to cause some kind of trouble, though that didn't seem to be the case. He figured it was best to let him do his thing and not interrupt. He was still unaware of the fact that he was being watched by Mimi.

She tilted her head, shocked that he did not have a place to stay either."S-Sure, I'd like t-that, plus I have money from my grandmother as well so we can both pay for it!"She said, a blush appearing on her cheeks of the thought living with a guy. It was a first for her of course, but hey it's always great to try something new. Kasumi turned her head to see a young man with a guitar and glanced at him, but then felt something. She felt someone watching them."M-Miles, I feel like we're being watched.."

Mimi Nightingale Mimi heard the young girl and knew that they were aware of her presence, she then crawled her way over to a tree close behind them and hung from one of the branches so she was directly behind them. She didn't decide to do anything since she wanted to see if the two would notice her.

Miles Libertatis Miles returned her smile. "Don't feel forced to," he told her when he saw her blush, unsure if she was embarrassed about the idea or not. "But I don't mind paying for it. As for eating..." He was trying to think of a good place to eat when he heard Kasumi's next statement. "Hmm..." he replied, a frowning in concern. "But where could-" he turned around as he spoke, immediately seeing Mimi hanging from the tree directly in front of them. "Wha...?" He asked, his eyes widening. What was that? He'd never seen anything like it in his life. "Who are you?" He asked it, still frowning. "And why are you watching us?"
