Bruce just frowned even more turning towards tony and stopping him in his tracks with his hands on his shoulders. ” you listen to me right now. You do not get out of this that easy, You cant just decide you’re not boyfriend matierial on me alright? I finally told you how i feel and you actually feel the same way and you dont get to just say all of that and then decide you’re not good enough. Im pretty sure that the way dating works, is that decision is up to me. got it?” he asked face flushed. “I am thinking because you just told me that you like my not so mild mannered alter ego and I just dont quite know how to deal with that, but you’ve got to give me more than five minutes to process it alright?” he asked hands still firmly planted on Tony’s sholders hoping that him being so abrasive wasnt going to make Tony upset.

"Al-alright," Tony stuttered a little less than smoothly. Usually he wasn't 'put into his place' by anyone (except maybe occasionally by Pepper), but he found he couldn't really argue with Bruce on this one. Deep down he still knew his faults were going to cause a lot of friction in /any/ relationship he had that wasn't with a machine, but maybe the other scientist (since he had his own list of... complications) was willing to look past them. But he needed to give the man time, he recognized. As usual, Tony was trying to rush things when it was better to take things slow.

Bruce grinned into tony’s hair “I do too, so much, and i love you, more than anything.” he said pulling him closer flush against him hands tight around his shoulders. “I really, really, want this to work.”

"Then let's do it, Mr. Super Genius," Tony grinned, his confidence returning in a snap like it always did. He ruffled Bruce's greying hair. "Between the two of us, I'm sure we can figure it out."

Bruce ignored the impulse to control everything just for a moment, forgetting how he had never really done this before, forgetting that he would probably be awful, he took control. Nibbling lightly on tony’s lower lip before biting a bit harder and then running his tongue over the bite to sooth it. at this point he didnt care if he was doing it right because god it felt right.

Tony gave a soft groan into the physicist's mouth, fingers tightening on the younger man's waist and toes curling inside his dress shoes. If that wasn't a signal to Bruce to keep going, he didn't know what was.

Bruce felt his stomach flip over backwards, he pulled away panting. He had never let go that much before he hadn’t had the luxury, he couldn’t do it before but he was so glad that he could do this. He settled his head on tony’s forehead, “I love you” he breathed grin engulfing his features.

"I guess so," Tony said teasingly, lifting an eyebrow. He twirled some of Bruce's hair around a finger. "Gotta say, I don't know where that came from, but I liked it a lot..."

Bruce twined his fingers into Tony’s, Bringing the back of tony’s hand to his lips and placing a light kiss on it. “I think we should” he said smiling.

"Alright then," the engineer smiled and he took them down one of the many paths that led to the lake in the middle of Central Park. Normally he would have considered such an activity 'boring', as it was hardly fast-paced enough for his tastes, but the current company made it enjoyable.

he smiled, ” well since there seems to well not be anyone attacking at the moment…we could go tonight. I mean if you wanted.” he said shyly. he wasn’t sure, it wasn’t really just dinner he was talking about… it was dinner and then going home. Bruce hadnt ever done that before, and he had never wanted to this much. “I mean, just think about it.”

"I'm in no rush," Tony lied, giving Bruce's hand a little squeeze. "You decide, okay?" From now on he promised himself he /would/ take it slow because it was what the scientist had asked for, what he needed. "Also, wherever you want to go, totally game," he motioned with his other hand. "It can be the fanciest restaurant in the city. Tony Stark gets a reservation where and when he wants, no questions asked."

Bruce grinned “Chinese, i havent had chinese in ages.” he said glad tony hadnt taken offense to his dislike of the rich lifestyle. He knew it was all tony knew but regardless it was far from what he was comfortable in. though he didnt want to upset tony, which he seemed to be doing often enough lately.

Tony snapped his fingers. "Momofuku Noodle Bar. They even do vegetarian. I've been there once before... but I can't remember when... Oh well." He shrugged. "It's really good, but not too lavish. And they serve sake." The billionaire looked practically giddy talking about it.
