johnel lance Carter holsters his shotgun and shrugs. "Depends really on how we are getting there. I'd say though that it would be between ten to fifteen miles at the least. Also why do I have the sinking feeling it is more likely that the Reaper will be gaining minions instead of Cerberus gaining a Reaper?" "Because the last time we had a Reaper problem, they indoctrinated people to accomplish their own goals." Two Alliance shuttles arrived and let out soldiers. One immediately flew to the entrance of the building and picked up Garrus and Ashley. The second one waited for everyone else. "Alright there is a small squad of soldiers inside lead by a Krogan. Find them and coordinate a defense plan with them. The rest of us are heading to the research facility." Everyone got on the shuttles and headed for the research facility.

Carter rolls his eyes from behind his helmet. "Of course I know that Bio-dome. Everyone and their pyjak knows about what the Reapers did. It was called joking." Carter jumped into the shuttle wondering how exactly the Council produced such humourless people.

Nema sighs and enters the shuttle with the others and sat down in the empty seat and then said,"Either way, we need to be prepared for what is out there and hopefully there will be survivors.."

As the shuttle pulled through the air, the pilot called for Dakyrr. "The council wanted to make sure you got this. It's a Salarian design, they firgured it might be useful." He handed Dakyrr a white pistol with an extended barrel. The center of it was glowing blue and it was pretty large for a pistol. "I'll be sure to point it at Cerberus." The shuttle began to slow down as they neared the landing zone. There was a large force waiting for them. "The el zee is hot, be ready!" the pilot said.

Nema prepared her medical gear and reloaded her ammo to both her pistols. She fight back to those who her, her group and the survivors. She thought to herself as she prepares,"that voice I heard when we received the message from the facility..who was it?" she was in deep thought about whose voice it was early but she must find out.

Carter grins down at the force that waited from them. "Alright let's see how these bastards like a biotic cannonball." With out waiting Carter jumped out of the shuttle unleashing a biotic nova when he hit the ground scattering the Cerberus forces. Deciding to save on thermal clips the bounty hunter started to pull unshielded troops midair for the others to hit while running to cover.

Nema sees Carter jump out of the shuttle, she was about to reach out for him but Garrus places his hand on her shoulder and said,"Let him have his fun.." As soon the shuttle lands both him and Nema come out of the shuttle, opens fire on the enemy troopers and they both took cover.

Carter pulls out his Mattock and starts taking potshots at the Cerberus troops from behind cover. Pops up getting an Assault trooper three times in the torso but then sees a familiar quadrepidal form running towards the group. "We've got FENRIS mechs!" Carter quickly pulls a couple into the air while shooting at the others.

One of the mechs gets near Carter but before it can do any damage he pulls it into the air. "Hey catch!" The bounty hunter punches the midair mech having it ram into a near by assault trooper.

Nema reloads and fires at one of the enemy troopers and she looks around to see if there are any survivors around but she can't see anyone at this time then she thought,"Maybe he is more farther down into the facility.." then she moves down, fires her pistol and takes cover.

About few buildings down, Cearo lays on the ground tied up and was bleeding badly from his right shoulder and his left leg. He looks up at the enemy that was keeping an eye on him and he can also hear gun fire and things exploding and then thought,"I hope that is reinforcment.."

When the last enemy fell everyone stopped and noticed the familiar shape looming behind the facility. It was the Reaper. If it wasn't active already, it soon would be.
"Alright we have to push our way to the Reaper. Expect heavy resistance and watch your corners. I don't want to lose anyone today, except maybe the bounty failure...."
He walked ahead leading the team forward.

Nema nods her head and she follows Dakyrr and the others then as they got closer then she said,"Wait, someone is inside the facility.." Garrus looks at her then looks at the direction she was looking. 2 figures and a someone sitting on the ground then he said to Dakyrr,"Dakyrr, 2 enemy troopers inside and one hostage.."

Carter puts a hand to his chest. "Oh hurt and shame your harsh words have slain my fragile heart of glass oh however will I go on?" He laughs then looks over at the situation. "Huh wonder why they just didn't shot their hostage not like Cerberus has the brightest blubs in the box to think beyond shot and breath."

Nema looks at Carter then back at the building then when she looks closer, her eyes widened then said,"no..I thought he.." Garrus looks at her then said,"what is it?" Nema's hand that held her gun started to shake,"my brother..Cearo..that is Cearo.." Garrus looks at her then back. He knew that she was right it was Cearo himself.

Carter lets out a soft whistle. "Talk about it being a small galaxy." He nods. "Okay anyone got a plan for I feel it's time to act a bit heroic."
