He who dares__________________________Eric shook his head. "Nah, not a big thing where I grew up," he said. "Read about it in storybooks though. That's about as close as I got. They didn't let the gladiators mingle you see. Well, not the really popular ones. They were kept isolated so they wouldn't be assassinated outside the arena or make any escape attempts. Since they separated the men and the women, the only time I ever got to even be close to a girl was in the arenas. And we weren't trying to kiss. It wasn't until after I was....rescued that I ever really talked to any." WINS

He who dares__________________________"Right, you got it," he said, winking at her as he walked out of the room into the kitchen. He stared around at all the ingredients. He had no idea how to cook anything. "Whatever I want..." he thought. How hard could it be? He opened the refrigerator door and took out some eggs, cracking them and putting them in a pan. He turned on the stove and put the pan on it, turning the stove almost all the way up. He scratched his head, watching the eggs heat up. That was it right? He stood for a moment, watching the eggs began to sizzle and hiss. Oh, right, he thought, turning away and opening the refrigerator again. They needed drinks. He looked around, pulling out some juice and poured it into two cups. Just then he smelled burning. "Ah, crap!" He said, running over to the stove. He quickly pulled the pan off as smoke wafted from the blackened eggs. He turned off the stove and put the pan on the counter, staring down at the eggs that were all but ash. "Hmm...don't think I did that right," he said sadly. He dumped the ruined eggs and pan into the sink, taking the glasses and walking back into the bedroom. "On second thought," he said with a nervous smile as he handed her one. "Let's hold of eating just a little longer and enjoy the drinks first." WINS
