Charlotte had decided to help some of the injured thanks to the potions she had, once she finished that she ended up just sitting there silently, glancing out the window.

She stared at the girl for a moment before looking up at Atticus and nodding "I will do whatever I can..." she said. She looked down at Shira then before quickly summoning several potion bottles, My options are limited since I can't use the regeneration spell right now... she thought as she removed some of the clothes so she could see the hole in Shira's side. She pressed one hand on her torso before pouring some of the potion onto the wound. Shira would suddenly start screaming as the injury seemed to bubble almost, the wound closing on itself. She struggled under Charlotte's hand as the potion started to close the injury. Even though it was a matter of a minute, it seemed like hours until the hole that was there was gone and replaced by a large scar. She sighed in slight relief before removing the rest of the bloody outfit and replacing it with bandages on all of her other injuries. Finally Charlotte sighed "That is the best I can do... she is still in critical condition though from how much blood she has lost so only time will tell of what will happen." she said with a worried look as Shira laid there, faintly breathing. She looked at Atticus then quietly.

 Lin had run full sprint to the DWMA and had charged through the halls. She knew that if she stopped, the pain would return, so she made her way to the nurse’s office. She entered then stopped. Doubling over, she set Ushi down and grasped her side. “Gah! That idiot! If he hadn’t been so stupid, I would not be useless.” She reached down to get her medicine, to find the bag was gone. “Gah! My meds!” She slumped against the wall and grimaced in pain. “Painkillers, someone find some. Please.”

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Atticus would stand by and watch as Charlotte did the best she could to stabilize Shira's condition, "Damn it, damn it, damn it." he muttered as he could do nothing for Shira as she screamed out in pain. "I was completely useless. I couldn't do anything to help her." Atticus said as he looked down at the ground, once Charlotte had finished tending to Shira. "Divine, did this to her. That man would have killed her if I hadn't shown up." Atticus would then clench his fist and start reverting back to his demonic side, "I am going to kill him. This time he has taken things way too far, not only has he slaughtered countless citizens, but he nearly succeeded in killing my partner. I'm sorry Charlotte, but I will have to stop him. One way or another." Atticus said as he walked away, "I need to be alone."
As he was walking out, Atticus would notice the two that he had met earlier, the girl seemed to be in pain, and asking for painkillers. Looking over at the tray located beside Shira, Atticus would take a small vile of blue elixir. Walking over towards the girl, Atticus handed her the vile, "This elixir was brewed by Charlotte, it will be able to heal you and your injury. Please have and get some rest. Things are going to get a lot more hairy." Atticus said.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I know you have your reasons for doing things... even so Divine... she thought silently as she looked at some of the injuries. She heard more people come in then and got up, walking out and passing Atticus, she looked at him then "I need to help the others... if you feel you have to make up for not being there for her, you still can. You may help her recovery slightly if you talk to her or something like that, maybe you can get her to wake up. Either way, I need someone to monitor her..." she suggested before glancing over at some of the injured civilians and walking and a quick pace to help them, disappearing into another room.

Lin took the elixir. Normally, she would have been snide towards him, but the pain was getting worse. She took the elixir and sat still for a few moments as the pain died down. As her pain receded, it was replaced by a growing weariness. “Ushi, I need to rest. Please, if you see Atticus, I think his name was, tell him...thanks.” She knew most would gawk at her for that as she never showed kindness or respect to any male other than Soul and Lord Death himself. She leaned back against the wall and entered a dazed state. She saw and heard what was going on, but nothing registered. “Sorry again Ushi.”

Atticus said as he appeared before Shira, just as Charlotte went into another room. Sitting down on a chair beside Shira's bed, Atticus take her hand and hold it in his, "Shira, you can't pass away. Not now. There are still so many things that we have yet to do or experience together. I know you may hate me, for not loving you the way you had loved me, but none of that means nothing to me." Atticus said as he closed his eyes and placed his forehead on Shira's hand, "I need you. I can't picture being with anyone else but you. If you die, then I will have lost one of the few things that keep me tethered to this world and away from the darkness. Without you here, I don;t know how I am suppose to live." Atticus told her as he then lifted his head up and stared at her.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

  Ushi stood next to Lin as she faded out. "tell him yourself...." Ushi stated softly, as stepped away from Lin. when Ushi was at a spot no one could see her she held her arm in pain. "i'm hopeless in my human form..." Ushi whispered to herself as she stood there alone. "what are we going to do about that man? .." Shira continued to lay there silently as Atticus spoke. Behind her eye lids, since the last time she lost consciousness, her mind seemed to replay the fight with the demon as well as some of the pain from the injuries. The images were temporarily interrupted by the surge of pain in her side as it was being healed from Charlotte. It seemed done after that from her perspective, it was just dark and silent then having Shira think that she really was dead, recalling what Divine said about dying alone and in the dark. She was close to accepting that until she heard voices around her, the darkness she was in seemed to fade and she felt herself in a bed then. Shira's body jerked slightly as she awoke, becoming tense after a few minutes of silence after her partner spoke. Her eyes became wide with caution as she processed where she was before turning exhausted and drained when her mind said she was in a safe place, her body relaxing slightly. She winced at the sting in her side, which was still recovering from the hit she suffered earlier. She turned her attention to Atticus then, staring at him as if she was trying to determine if she was in a dream or not.
