Smiling at the fourth seat, Aya looked back over at the others. The head captain had been silent for a while and she was beginning to wonder if he'd ever say something. After all, like Jutaku, she was getting a little hungry herself.

As things continued to go on in the assembly hall, Kenshin continued to look at the shingami present, as he noticed some peculiar behavior from some of them. "Using hollows to make sake? My my, what an odd group of shinigami I've been placed in charge of......"Remaining silent, he continued to observe the captains and other shingami talk among one another, and yawned. His eyelids soon began to feel heavy, as he was clearly becoming increasingly tired as the minutes continued to fly by, as he was still adjusting from the events he underwent in the world of the living before he was suddenly interrupted by this new job. Sighing, he then noticed another captain enter the room, though he was not familiar with him being a captain. However, as he heard him speak, Kenshin soon rolled his eyes as he heard that he killed the previous captain of the squad. "You've got to be kidding me right now. This guy decides to become a captain through a Trial by Combat? And why of all times, now? Jesus...." Sighing, this was clearly bothering Kenshin as he was quite tired and was clearly in need of some rest. Looking at the shingami in the assembly hall, he sighed and closed his eyes momentarily, as he was about to give them his final address before ending the meeting.
"Enough now. I need you all to listen to me. Raiku, I don't think that now was the most appropiate time for you to drop such a bombshell considering all what we're all going through. Secondly, I'm going to have to inspect these hollows of which your using to brew alcoholic beverages sometime after this meeting. Now for Hiddan. Right now as things stand, we could use all the people we could get to help us with this crisis that's underway right now, but I must say this. You picked a bad time to challenge the Late Captain Viki for her spot considering the mess that we are all in. However, you aren't in any trouble right now as things stand, as we most certainly do not have the time to be dealing with such a minor problem right now when we have to prepare for our final battle with those Taizai and end this horrible war that has fallen before us. As for my plan, we are going to go through with this plan, and that's final. I will make certain that this mission will become a success and bring this war to a end before it continues to grow out of hand." Yawning, he then got up and began to slowly walk out of the assembly hall. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get some much need rest. Meeting dismissed." With that, he soon vanished using shunpu and headed over to his new sleeping quaters that formally belonged to Animus.
O.O.C: Really sorry about my late response but I'm still away on vacation and I've been booked with things and with planning for a new guild I'm putting together. physical and mental battles." Nodding silently, Shingo gave quick glance to the new Captain of Squad Seven, looking quite unimpressed, then quickly shunpo'd out of the room. "Now I have to alter two sets of records..." he mumbled to himself softly, sounding a bit annoyed.

With the head captain finally gone, Aya was able to relax a little. Standing up now, she turned her head to look at Raiku and Yuki. "Fourth Seat Kori and I would like to head back to barracks to grab a snack, is that alright Captain?" she asked, folding her hands neatly in front of her.

Takeo let out a sigh of relief and stretched his arms behind his head and took one step to his left, stopping at the door and turning to the captains and bowing "Captains," he said respectfully addressing the captains in their entirety as he respectively took his leave. He turned toward the door and tiredly strolled out of the hall and into the connecting walkway as he would continue forward and return t his barracks. -------"...but to make the other b*****d die for his." [Meeting hall]->[N/a]

((sorry guys, my screen gave out on me and had to buy a new one. been haveing trouble syncing it up with my computer))
Shadow stood there for a moment, watching the captains argue. It was amusing to say the least, but not productive. Captain Viki ordered him and everyone else not to trouble them with the task at hand, and that was fine by him. As long as every thing followed suit it did not matter to him how things got from point A to point B, so to speak. This new captain, shadow admired him for his logic behind his advancement, but hated the fact he showed little concern with honor or bloodlines. "Such things still hold sway in this world and should not be taken lightly" he said under his breath as he turned and walked out. as he passed by the other captains he could not help but give a slight smile. he found it amusing that everyone thinks being a captain makes you stronger then other shinigami. No, in his mind it was only a rank showing leadership skills and privilege. Anyone who thought diffident would one day be proven wrong. "Never ignor ones measure, no matter how small." he said as walked out the door and to his workshop

Axzaki aka GinAs Ken gave his orders, Axzaki nodded in agreement. He then turned to the following Grimm wondering what was it he needed to speak with him in private for. He looked back to Rin and Akane"Come on you two..we have a lot to discuss when we get back to our squad."he said as he then returned back to following Grimm out the Captains meeting room. He hoped that all they worked for and that what ever happens succeed, so they can finally take the heavy burned off their shoulders as in the Taizai of course. "....because i would rather have tea"

Squad 10 Captain  Raiku nodded as Kenshin addressed him. He might as well show Kenshin the hollows, the rest was out anyways. Raiku then heard Aya ask him if she and the new guy could go get food, he then laughed a bit. "Of course you can go eat, you dont have any duties at the moment and its only food. You do remember who you're talking to right? I get drunk on duty all the time. As long as you're not doing anything horrible, I don't care what you do." Raiku then laughed again for about a minute. However he stopped upon hearing Yuki's cold tone. Raiku sighed. "Well see ya later." Raiku then used shunpo and left.

Rin was certain it took more than training and strength to lead a squad, what can a brute do in times that don't require battle. Rin knew Zaraki, as strange as it is noting that he should be older having come from that time period, and it didn't take a genius to figure that Zaraki isn't an ideal role model. Yes he got his job done, so long as someone had to spell everything out for him without that all he could really do on his own was rush into battle.
So many things passedthrough Rin's mind. He questioned the rules of captain selection based on Hiddan's judgement. 'If he trained he wouldn't be trying to provoke reactions from the captains'? What kind of since does that make??? What Rin does for entertainment doesn't depict his level of training.

Before he could make any argument Axzaki stepped in, Rin chose to be obedient... this time, mainly because he was still trying to read the third Captain. The new head captain spoke and even confirmed Rin's statement on Hiddan's bad timing, Rin didn't say a word though his vulpine experession had an added hint of 'I told ya so'.
And soon after it was meeting adjourned! Time to go! Truth was not only did meetings bore Rin, but he was curious to see how Axzaki operated, the third captain was already being judged whether he knew it or not. He was in the position once held by Rin's father. for that place to be held by anyone other than Gin was like blasphemy in the eyes of Rin
