"And if no one kills you? Would you be willing to risk that, becoming what you set out to destroy, but... worse?" Hm.. look at him go. She thought him arrogant, one who perhaps pushed his weight around a little, but such was youth! "I can believe it would be... Now. Let's see how good you are with agression." With that, she curtly turned from him, to pace a mere few steps away... before the brilliance of light shone from her, whispy clouds of darkness danced around the circular form of a blade. A Ring Blade, to be exact, metallic, dull on the inside, sharpened on the outside, with three sets of spiked protrusions around it... and it was head straight for Aiden.

Aiden would tense as she walked away, but he didn't expect what she did next. He had his fists up on the natural boxing position, waiting until the right moment to strike. When Alive would be right on him, Aiden would duck to his right, feeling the blades narrowly miss his jacket. With a ferocious snarl, Aiden took his cursed arm and released a strong downward chop with his forearm down on the flat top of the Ring Blade. A spark would appear once contact was made between the rough, unnatural skin of his arm against the metal. Aiden would frown, even she could get through his skin if she tried. He snapped his arm back and retreated a little, still holding his stance. "Mind givin' me a bit of a heads up next time, eh, Alice?" -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- "We may have bad weather in Ireland, but the sun shines in the hearts of the people and that keeps us all warm." -Marianne WilliamsonThe Rocky Road To Dublin

Ah, so the boy wasn’t just bragging and blowing steam, he really did have some combat experience. That was good, in her opinion atleast. Had she ment to harm him? Probably not. Still, it made her no less dangerous, as is often the way with flying pieces of sharpened metal! That arm though… that peaked her interest. “Hm.” Once more, the customary light surrounded her, and again, it was the five foot one girl who stood in place of the otherwise unorthodox weapon. “Why would I give you a heads up? If I were a Kishin, or a Witch, would I give you a heads up then? You need to be on your guard, the world can be pretty rough justice all around, you know. Still, you’re not bad.” She recounted… with a gentle push to his chest as she sauntered on by with a demented, maddening grin. “For a boy.”

You at least give me a warnin' before throwin' yourself at me," Aiden huffed. What was that comment about? For a boy? British people. "And I suppose ya think ya can get away with that one, eh?" he said stepping in front of her again, with was pretty easy giving their difference in size. "What about you, eh? Givin' me a blimin' tour through memory lane withou' givin' somethin' back? That ain't gonna work, lass." Aiden would give her a mischievous smile. She wasn't bad, wasn't big, but she could back it up well enough. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- "We may have bad weather in Ireland, but the sun shines in the hearts of the people and that keeps us all warm." -Marianne WilliamsonThe Rocky Road To Dublin

“I don’t think I will. I’m a worst-scenario kind of person, you’ll find us everywhere.” Cruel, isn’t she? Well, to a point. Oh, was her path to be blocked? The situation lead to a frustrated growl as she attempted to side step around him frantically. What was his deal!? Let her pass, peasant! “I am getting away with it, like it or not.” She’s going to go with not on this occasion. Who’d have thought a walking crash would escalate into this!? “I never intended to provoke memories from you, and I have no intention of giving you anything back, now stand aside!” Listen to him! Talking like a dealer, he was! “You won’t be sending me down memory lane, my memories are shattered, dead to me.”

English types, high an' mighty. Always takin' and never givin' back. He turned and walked right behind her left shoulder, keeping pace with her as he leaned down closer, "Doesn't sound like they're dead ta me." Aiden would stare at her for a minute, his amber eyes thoughtful for a moment, "...Or is it that you're just runnin' away from em'?" He couldn't figure out why he was even doing this anymore. Normally he wouldn't even have bothered with someone as much as this, let alone with a prissy little Brit. So why now? Aiden was determined to get an answer though.

"And I don't plan on letting you follow me. At all." And yet, there he went, following her! The NERVE of this guy! Still, her head was held high, and God only knows how she was coping to navagate with that block fringe over half her face. Maybe she was so used to it, it didn't bother her too much. "Hmph. They are dead. All of them. They died in the fire, and I should have too." Nothing less than resentment spiked her words, as if she were explaining it for the millionth time to him. Poor guy, how was he to know? "Why do you pursue me? I deserve my bitter tears, do you want some too? It'd be best if you left me. You've got Madness, I can taste it from here. If you were to foolishly follow me, that would only consume you. Me, too. Is that what you want? To turn mad? Mad as a Hatter, without the charm..."

Think that you will only drag everyone else down with ya? Bein' down and dark does nothin' but make it all the worse. Reality bein' that life sucks, but wallowing in it sucks more." He straightened up, the distance between them reapplied. He stared ahead, "Sayin' you should 'ave died is a stupid thing ta do," he said with a harsh tone. Aiden would never baby someone, and he wouldn't start now, even though she piqued his interest. No one ever got anywhere from it. Sorrow builds character. Aiden would finally look at her, waiting to see what she would cook up with that one.

"I do. Fortunately, I have no one to drag down. I'm sorry I can't be your ideal, be as happy as everyone else, but that's just the way of it. What you call down and dark, I call normal." Was he still following her? Why did that even effect her so? Perhaps she felt annoyed he was following on, or... perhaps she felt rather surprised. "You wern't there. You wern't in the fire." Freeze! Her whole being had become terribly rigid. "...What do you WANT from me? Why are you following? If I am so DULL and DOWN, then why would you follow!? Shouldn't you be gone by now? Dissapeared!? I won't warn you if I strike, you already know that, so why do you persist!? Is it funny!? Do you think it's fun, preaching to me about something that won't change.. just... Shoo! Shoo!" I'm quite sure batting at him lightly wouldn't help... but she did so.

When he decided that she had probably hit him enough, he said softly, "Oi... Oi. I'm sorry, 'kay? Sorry I'm gettin' on ya nerves, sorry that I snapped at ya, sorry even that ya can't let that negative s**t go, alright?" Wait a flippin' minute, why was he apologizing? And yet. Why was it so hard to let this girl walk away? Why was it hard to just let her sink into the dark? This made no flippin' sense. But there he was. Practically babying the broad. Aiden would step in front of her once more, making sure she would stop. "I'm not makin' fun o' ya or anything. I just want ta know, okay? ... What happened?" he asked, getting eye to eye level with her, but far enough where she wouldn't full on hit 'em in the face.

Fume! FUME! Who was he to talk of letting go! Tch! He barely knew her! He was nothing more than.. than a bumpkin! Stupid, stupid bumpkin! Oho? What happened eh? Well. It was a good thing her eyes were covered by that little waterfall of ebony tresses, for the glare she directed to him was a powerful one. "...The house burned down. Mama and Papa. Sister too. Sister died in her sleep. Poof! Flesh and bones become smoke and ashes." A large grin slipped onto her face, something followed by a maniac's laugh, switching tones and uneven at best. "Ten years in the Asylum, wasted everyones time. I'm past a cure. One day, it'll consume me, I can already feel it clawing into me... and you know something, Aiden?" She took every advantage on edging forward when his head was at the same level as her own, a delicate hand raised up to push her fringe back. And there they were, her eyes. Absymal and depthless, her pupil, iris, sclera, all of it, consumed in complete black. I suppose that's why she let her hair grow over them. "Do you see the Madness...?"

Aiden gently bumped the top of her head with the bottom of his fist. He would chuckle lightly, but had an annoyed smile, "I see a strange little lass that needs a desperate tune up, that's what I'm a' seein'. I'm not gonna sit here and fuss at ya again, but I am gonna do this..." Before she could fight back, Aiden would duck down and cup her legs with his arm. In one motion he would softly hoist her up until her stomach rested on his shoulder, her legs tucked beneath his right arm. Aiden would let out a laugh as he stood up to his full height, "Alrighty then, off we go! I could use a stiff swig after talkin' ta you, and me thinks you need one too. Now don't go and start tearing up me jacket, else I'll fling you 'round a bit, got it lass?" He couldn't help the goofy, triumphant grin plastered on his face. He had no idea what he was even doing anymore. He just kinda went with it.

OBJECTION! How dare he! This.. this sheer simpleton! RAWR! RAGE! "A... SWIG!?" What did that mean!? It simply didn't compute in her posh little dictionary mind! Think, Alice! Think... what could it mean-- wait. He was Irish. That.. that explained everything! "You bloody idiot!" Ohh! Ohh! She swore! It was only natural she screamed and hit against him, and who cared about the damn jacket!? Anything that belonged to Aiden was VOID! That included his head! "Hmph..." Well, he had won... in a way. She refused to let his victory be an easy one, there was still something she could do, something that usually worked. Fling her around, huh? Well just try it, boy! Once more the red light shone, and what would have materialised, balanced around Aiden shoulder and under his arm would be that very blade that tried to get him earlier. Her plan was simple... barely anyone was compatible with her, right? In her theory, she should have been too heavy for Aiden to carry! HAHA! She wins... right? I mean... he couldn't possibly have... a compatible soul... right?

Damn. Probably shouldn't have said anything about the jacket, now it was probably going to get ruined. Great, just what he needed. Wait... wait just a pickin' minute here. He might not be an expert but girls didn't just suddenly lose like 20 pounds... did they? Aiden looked over, she gone and transformed yeah, but she wasn't doing anything... just... sittin' there. He would slide the ring down his arm and into his hand, being careful not to find the blade in it. He would look at it for a minute, kind of shaking it, "Oi! What kind o' game ya pullin' here? Hm?" Aiden wouldn't wait for an answer, she went and made it much more fun. Slowly at first, he would spin the dull inner part of the Ring around his left index finger, building up speed before he had it twirling like a mach-5 hula hoop. He didn't think he had ever laughed as much as he was now. This was too funny. "Haha! This is MUCH easier than carrying ya. I should've picked ya up earlier!" -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- "We may have bad weather in Ireland, but the sun shines in the hearts of the people and that keeps us all warm." -Marianne WilliamsonThe Rocky Road To Dublin(( Quick note: Aiden's pretty dumb when it comes to wavelength, so he wouldn't understand compatibility if you hit him in the head with it. Um.. Yes, yes they did just.. lose 20 pounds. Randomly. I wish. "...Drop me." Infact, why WASN'T he dropping her!? The.. the.. idiot. He was ment to be damn well crippled! Struggling under her mere AWESOMENESS, but no.. he.. he was making her go like a merry-go-round. One with race cars and rocket ships instead of little baby horses. Bleh.. she doesn't feel so good now... Mind you, who couldn't be impressed? It wasn't like she was a baby Hula-Hoop. To hold her with both hands, she'd be 4ft across, and a good few inches sharp... who in the world came up with such an unorthadox weapon? "Stop it! I'll slice your throat!" Careful there, she might just mean it, too. Around and around we go! She couldn't take it though... engage light-transformation sequence! You'd think she'd go flying up into space or tumble visciously into the ground, but no. Her hands found the ground and the noir-headed freakshow simply cartwheeled back until she found her footing. Oh yes, she has a bone to pick with you, literally! "Stupid! You wern't ment to be able to pick me up! How in GOD'S name did you do that!?" Answers! NOW!
(( ...Then I shall get the shovel of learning to hit him on the head with it! >=D Aww, thankies! Aiden reminds me of.. like, everyone from Father Ted. xD I APPROVE! ))
