Calder took his pillow and slowly scooted across the floor till he was before Shehk's hammock, watching her intense gaze on her phone and her tail wagging. She'd been on her phone almost all this time, and whoever was texting was being prompt with texting back. "Who ya texting?"

Shehk seemed to snap out of a daze when Calder pipped up, looking up from her phone and over to the Kelpie instead, as though suddenly seeming to recall she wasn't the only person in the room. Not to say the stupid grin on her face didn't stay there.
"I've just been exchanging texts with Jericho." she answered, "Kind of feel bad he couldn't be here himself."
