Nolan noted that Servine and Aron were already back from their mini-adventure, looking very well-fed. And they brought him two things - a Leaf Stone and another Dawn Stone. Excellent, but as he pocketed them, not sure what to do with the food that came back with him too, Nolan looked over at Chael. "Hey, no reason you can't borrow my Return and Bulldoze. We can do a few swaps around so I can teach them, and then you can save your stuff for a bigger and better TM." Valor didn't quite give up on Blue, and now forgetting that Tsuki had been playing with him, the Spark cat followed the electric wolf around. He even went so far to 'help' deliver that note, not that Valor cared that they came across Gage. Tail still lashing, he just had too much energy, just like Tsuki the Eevee. He came running back, and nearly bowled Nolan over as he rubbed up against his human's leg. "I guess there really is a good reason to travel with other people, so we can help each other out." An Eevee ... here? Gage narrowed his eyes at Tsuki. He had already read the note and known exactly where it had come from, crumpling it up and tossing it on the ground for Houndour to burn with his fire. Gage could see AND hear the jingling bell around the Eevee's neck, but ... well, just because a pokemon already was owned by another trainer never stopped Gage before. He thought briefly on the warning he had just gotten from the Admin, but who could pass up a chance to finally capture an Eevee. "Alright, 'Dour, use your Fire Fang on that Eevee. Don't let it escape." The Houndour growled, teeth being set alight with flames, and he charged at Tsuki. Post 263 Tsuki: 14 Ok, this wouldn't do. It was starting to get dark and his Eevee was nowhere to be seen. He tossed the shovel aside as he put his backpack back on. He was just a kid and was bound to find a trainer to play with. But some trainers were ignorant and tried stealing other's Pokemon. And Eevee's were top notch rare. Fear jumped on his shoulder. (( Tsuki must be high on that Soothe Bell, to take a Fire Fang and just think they're playing, LOL! )) Nolan didn't have an answer for Chael, shrugging and unable to even keep track of his own pokemon. Gage, however, had a response for the way-too-happy Eevee, and still trying to keep his voice below a shout, gave Houndour his next move. Quick Attack didn't seem to do very much, or at least the Dark Pokemon didn't want to show that a little brown puff ball of fur had hurt him. "You think that was fun, eh?" Gage chuckled. "Now, 'Dour, use your Beat Up move and show what real fun is." Houdour was ready for this, howling a summon. Then all at once, all of Gage's pokemon leaped out of their pokeballs, the light energy blinding for a second. Then there was six pokemon all surrounding Tsuki, glaring under Houndour's power. The Beat Up started, each one getting their punch in, and as they did they each vanished back into their pokeballs one by one. ((Yeah, that's a self made effect. It suites it though. xD. I'm just double posting so I can quicken him to evolve.)) Post 264 Tsuki: 15 The effect wouldn't be what they expected. The Eevee entered a fit of giggles. It hurt, but it felt funny. (Stop it! That tickles!) The Eevee would shout, still giggling. Whoa, that Houndour was really nice! First he plays games and now he tickled him. But something got in his fur. Shaking it, he let out an accidental Sand Attack. He gave Gage a wide grin. Man, this guy was fun! He wondered why Argos and Fear hated him. Well he don't wonder about Argos. The gator didn't really like people. Now there certainly was something wrong with this Eevee. The Houndour had to stop to itch his nose and eyes, trying to get the sand out, and sneezing explosively. His lips pressed into a thin grim line, Gage had on a look of apprehension, wondering what kind of god this Eevee was. Most pokemon went down after an attack or two from Houndour. This one was trainer-owned, making it stronger, but Tsuki was acting like nothing hurt at all. He had to have this Eevee. "Use another Fire Fang!" Houndour shook his head, so irritated by the sand granules that he refused to attack. But a little more time and he'd have it out of his eyes. Gage didn't wait around, desperately searching for something he could help capture the Eevee. He wasn't prepared at all to be poaching pokemon, and he started reaching for another pokeball to make it two-on-one. And he wasn't ready to start throwing pokeballs either. Finally Houndour was ready, and jumped forward, flames cloaked his teeth again, ready to chomp down on Tsuki. Gage tossed the pokeball for Pikachu and the electric rodent hesitated, not thinking these odds were fair at all. Post 266 Tsuki: 17 While the Houndour was scratching his nose, Tsuki rammed into him again, using Tackle. Only to give a friendly (Gotcha!). He would walk around as the Houndour bite him with fire. Ok that was starting to hurt! Deciding to respond Tsuki would ram into him again, using Quick Attack! And his ability helped. It was Adaptability. Any moves he got STAB from would get more power behind him. Now Nolan was seriously starting to share in with Chael's concern. It was one thing when his pokemon paired off and went exploring, but it was another when a young Eevee wandered off on his own in the dark. Where did the day go? They must have spent much more time than he thought walking to the Ruins and searching for items. At this rate the moonlight was going to make a certain Eevee very loony. Even Valor was starting to pick up on the issue, his normally ecstatic mood sobering into one of concern like the human trainers. Brow furrowing, the Spark cat shook his head, not knowing where Tsuki could be. But he was going to help look! Narrowing his yellow eyes and focusing hard to see as far as possible, Valor started to scan the area for any brown fuzzballs. He still wasn't done playing tag! Panting and wincing, Houndour was starting to take his own beating, and sore from the repeated Tackles and Quick Attacks, his energy was flagging. Just in time, Pikachu stood up to the plate, taking the Dark Pokemon's place. Focusing and FINALLY getting to use up some of that wonderfully charged electricity, Pikachu formed an electric orb between her paws. Then rushing forward like a fighter from a video game, Pikachu threw her paws outwards, shooting off the Electro Ball at the crazy Eevee. Filled with kindness, valorous intentions, thousands of volts of deadly electricity, and warm fuzzies, the Luxio knew it was up to him to find Tsuki. The Eevee's safety could very well depend on it! Ears perking, he heard something in the distance, hidden from view, but extraordinary hearing was not what Luxio were known for. The Luxio could not pin-point exactly where the Eevee cry had come from, not with the sound bouncing and echoing off so many rocks. It just wasn't enough! But Valor knew he was enough! He could do this, the sky was the limit. Taking a stance, stomping his paw down, Valor held his head high and shook out his mane. A bit of energy and light was flicked off with the movement, and then it happened - Valor began to evolve. Nolan stopped everything he was doing, starting to call for Tsuki, and his eyes grew wide as the light enveloped his Spark cat. He had no idea that Luxio evolved once more. Electricity crackled, sparks flew, and Valor grew in size once more, his mane becoming long and luxurious, the black fur spreading to cover most of his body as another band of yellow was added to his forelegs. But his eyes, they had changed the most. Now Valor, the new Luxray, knew exactly where to go, and he roared, leading the charge exactly towards the lost Eevee. "Watch out!" Gage warned his Pikachu just in time, and she leaped backwards out of the stream of sand from the attack. But it still did take costly time. She didn't know how to approach now, least she take a Sand-Attack to the face like Houndour. Electricity sparked from her rosy cheeks. "No, wait, Peeks. Don't attack again. It's starting to get tired, or you might knock it out." But Houndour would not be defeated by some fox. Giving out a long, eerie Howl, he readied himself, pumping himself up, ready to attack. "HOLD IT." But there was no stopping him this time with just words. Gage leaped, and had to grab onto Houndour, hugging the wolf around his huge chest. Gage had to use every ounce of his strength to keep the Dark Pokemon at bay, least he charge in and savagely tear up the Eevee. "Stop it, 'Dour."
