d**k gave Roy that look. "You do realize that as soon as she learns Damian was my.. or is my Robin she'll be even more headstrong about being your speedy?" He smiled and leaned into Roy. "I guess what I'm saying, and going to ask Damian is.. I'm not so retired." He winked. 'Besides, as Nightwing I can do a lot more that the cops souldn't and as batman.." He smiled wide. "I know I said I wasn't going to become him but... It's really nice to slip on the cowel from time to time. Just don't tell Bruce I enjoy it."

Roy looked at d**k and said," oh god, she can't be my speedy, she can't learn about you and Damian it she'll be begging me to be my sidekick...she's already trained but...I don't want her getting hurt." he said, knowing he wasn't being fair: 10 that was the age most sidekicks joined with their mentors. He had about 4 years before Lian started demanding she be allowed to join. "damn it, why does she have to be so heroie." he said with a laugh as they walked into the dress shop. "oh yea...cause she's my kid."

d**k nudged Roy with his elbow. "Well just think. If they ever get asked into the Titans, you know Damian will watch out for her like crazy. We turned out pretty good all things considering." He smiled. "I don't think you'll have to worrey about her if shes as strong and bulheaded as you. Hell even with some of Cheshire in her, she's got that determination. With her new mommy's influence.. Because i'm asumeing I'm the mom in all this." He rolled his eyes. "She will be very likeable and great with dealing with others." He smiled.

Roy kissed d**k's cheek and said, "with you and me raisig her, and Damian watching hr back whenever she does begin hero work she'll be good and safe." Roy smile and said, "I'm starting to like Damian, at least his crush means he'll watch her back." Roy walked over to a red and yellow dress and picked it up, "thi is so cute, it's like the girly dress version if the speedy suit." he Sao with a laugh. "I'm getting this, I think Lian has enough stuff now andnit's about time to pick her up so let's go." Roy said heading for the check out.

d**k followed Roy to the chek out. "Well we can swoop in and get her take her to the mannor and have lunch while her and Damian play." He got excited. "Damian playing, thats a sight. That kid needs to losen up big time." He shook his head.
((ok so Talia didn't even meet Damian face to face in the comics until he was 8. Thats nuts. And the way she treats him in the books i just wonna punch her. She lets Slade controle his body through the implan in his spine and tries to kill d**k))

"loan will get him to lighten up." Roy said with a smile. "that sounds nice, let's go." he said leading back to the car.
When they both showed up at lian's school Liam perked up and pointed, Roy could here her telling her friends those are my daddyies!" her friends looked at them curiously and waved shyly.
Roy smiled and waved back, "she called us hr daddies." Roy said with a laugh before kissing d**k's cheek.
"daddy! Papa! You're both here!" she said as she ran up and hugged both of them.
"hey Lian, wanna go see Damian?"
Lian's eyes lit up and she nodded excitedly. "yes!"
Roy smiled and said, "okay then let's go." he sai leading the way back to the car.

d**k had read her lips and thought how cute it was she was talking about them.
Damian answered the door when they got there. he looked overly excited and even more so when Lian was there. "I have somthing to show you!" Damian took Lian's hand and bolted toward the library.
d**k walked in laughing. "He must of really wanted to see her."
Alfred walked over to greet them properly.
"master Damian has been a flutter all day. Ever since the kittens arived."
"Kittens?" d**k looked at Roy. "Ahh. Damian's a proud grandparent of kittens." He laughed.
"May I get lunch ready?" Alfred asked.
"If you don't mind." d**k smiled.
"Never sir. It's my pleasure."
d**k took Roy's hand and followed after the kids.
Damian had Lian next to a box where one of his cats was resting with a litter of 5 kittens.
"Isn't this amazing?" He smiled wide. "I will name them all. Father sais I must find homes for them. I want you to have one if your father will allow it." He smiled at her and blushed a bit.

Lian shifted her head curiously as Damian dragged her along but when she saw the kitten she instantly became excited. “Kittens!” She exclaimed, hurring over to the box and looking down at them. “Oh my goodness…they’re so cute!” She looked absolutely ecstatic when Damian said she could have one. “Really?!” She wrapped her arms around Damian’s neck and kissed his cheek, “Thank you Damian! Daddy!” She turned around and instantly latched onto Roy’s leg when he came in. “Daddy, Damian said I could have one of his kitty’s kittens, can I?”
Roy looked down at her, saw those bright green eyes staring back into his and couldn’t say no. “Of course.” He said, smiling when Lian jumped up in excitement then ran back to Damian with the kittens.
“Great, a kitten. I think we were just upstaged by a kid.” Roy said, looking at d**k. “All those toys in the world couldn’t be better in her eyes then a kitten.” Roy said with a laugh.

d**k took Roy's hand and laughed. "The kittens won't be able to leav their mother for anoth 6-7 weeks, sooo.. We have time to out do Damian." He smirked.
Damian's face was bright red from Lian kssing him. He touched his cheek where she had kissed him.
d**k giggled.
Damian quickly shook off his dreamy look and began to look at the kittens too.
"i like the gray one." He pointed at the little gray lump that moveing around. "And theres a black one, a orange tiger striped one,and a white and a orange and white."

"I like the gray one too, it's really cute." She said, leaning down to get a closer look, "I also like the black one though." She smiled and looked at Damian, "Whichever one I get I wanna name it Dami, after you." She said, smiling brightly. "I really like you Damian, you're fun." She said before looking at her dad. "I heard something about toys?"
Roy looked up when Lian turned to him and frowned before looking at d**k, "You can blame her mom for the freaking bat-hearing." Roy then turned back to Lian, "We got you some toys yes, do you and Damian want to play with them?"
"In a little bit, I want to sit here and look at the kittens a little longer." Lian said, resting her head on Damian's shoulder and looking at the kittens adoringly.
"It kills me how cute they look." Roy said, not wanting to give his little girl up and glad she was only 6. "Let's eat, then we'll bring the toys in." Roy said, kissing d**k's temple affectionately.

d**k leaned in. "Food sounds good. There are days I threaten to kidnap Alfred, sadly I taught him how to get out of cuffs easily so I can't do that." He laughed.
Damian was blushing again thanks to Lian. The mention of nameing a kitten after him had his heart fluttering.
He glanced at d**k and Roy at the mention of Toys and gave a curious look.
"We got you both somthing," d**k said.
"TT... Toys?" He rolled his eyes but looked at Lian and decided she must like toys. He shrugged. "I sapose I will give them a try."
Alfred entered and announced luch was ready.

Lian smiled and said, "You like toys right? Don't worry, my dad's good at picking toys, Papa Grayson probably is too. We'll have lots of fun." Lian got up at the mention of food, she was hungry too. "Come on Damian, let's go eat then we can play." She said, tugging on his hand and pulling him after Roy and d**k.
Roy placed his hand at the small of d**k's back and let the boy after Alfred who led the way to the dining room. When he smelled the food he hummed and said, "Alfred, I forgot how good a cook you are. What's on the menu?" He said, sitting down and tugging d**k down next to him. Lian hopped onto the seat next to him and pulled Damian next to her--both Harper's were a bit pushy.

Damian allowed Lian to drag him along. "I don't play with toys." He said simply. "Never had toys to play with." He looked at her. "Mother wouldn't allow it."
d**k took his seat without complaint.
"We have chicken casadeias with rice. Master d**k's favorite.' He smiled.
d**k smiled wide. "I love his casadias. "

"Oh, I'm sorry. Mama never got me toys either, she always said: Why should I buy you toys when I have perfectly good weapons that you could play with." Lian said, mimicking her mom's voice.
Roy felt his eye twitch, he really wanted to hunt Cheshire down but the woman had vanished, "And what did Daddy tell you?" Roy asked, looking down at her.
"That weapons should be respected, and that they're not toys." She recited, beaming up at him.
"Good girl." Roy turned to the quesdias and perked. "Awesome, so do I." Roy said to d**k, grinning at the man.
"Me too!" Lian chimed in.

(((hmmm yeah, we got all domestic on this one lol))
Damian sniffed at his food before eating it. "Well... Weapons are to be respected." He replied. He was going in for another bite when Ace growling at the door caught his attention.
d**k was alert as well and poised for action.
"Alfred.." d**k alerted the butlor.
Alfred understood and took to the servailaince room.
"Damian get Lian to the cave." d**k ordered as he got up. He pushed back a painting revealing a few weapons and tossed Roy a small crossbow with 6 bolts. d**k grabbed the knuckle dusters and slid them on.
Damian got up and took Lian's hand. "We can grab the mother cat and kittens on the way." He sugested. He wanted to be sure that if holy hell broke lose his cats were safe.
A year ago he would of argued with d**k and wanted to stay and fight, but he was better at taking orders from the older male now.
