Tambrey wasn't sure what happened to leave her with, maybe, minor scratches.
All she knew was that one moment she was standing there, looking back as her pink bat had unexpectedly returned to assist Pygi and then the next there was an explosion.
She stood there, stunned, as debris rained all around. It was /pure luck/ that nothing substantial had hit her, but for a moment, the grunt was convinced she'd glimpse her body laying on the ground any second.
Once it became clear she wasn't dead, she tended to her two flying types, after they received a bit of a batter from the rubble.

Pygi found herself showered with a small fall of debris that knocked her to the ground with an alarmed squawk, but as she struggled back upright, it was at least clear that she wasn't badly hurt.

Lasi was still close to the Lucario, and managed avoid the worst of the falling debris too at first, except for when Pygi appeared to be felled. The lump that had come down had actually been bigger than had hit the bird. Lasi launched himself, taking a bit of a hard bump to the head, but at least Pygi, who he still thought of as a Pidgey, wasn't hit so much. He tottered, dazed, for a few moments, but gave a grin at Tambrey- he would be fine, he tried to promise.

Both flying types flapping their wings.
"You both okay?" It was good to see that... well, they seemed to be. "Thank Arceus... Come on..." She didn't really want to fight anyone now, but suspected she'd have to as she tried to make her way toward where Ella had been sent. If she could get to that door, she would be where the others of the team would likely aim to go. She hoped.

Neph had been able to tuck herself away as the debris began to fall. That pokemon; he was not the enemy she had been looking for, but... an explosion. It was a /coward/'s way to fight! It was a strong attack, certainly, but she was enraged by the way it worked. At least the metal enemy actually spat the objects that did the damage; this was a despicable tactic.
The spider aimed a String Shot with the intention of getting further up and, hopefully, closer to the grass hedgehog.

Chew, chew, chew. This was a hard door!
But that didn't mean she should be careless; no, no, Ella had to be neat, had to damage it in a 'nice' way so that it could be repaired.
And then there was the explosion.
As debris rained down around her, Ella's little mind raced in a panic, torn between running back to her trainer, helping team mates or continuing to chew the door...
Unless she could chew through the debris, then she would not be help there... Though perhaps she could charge it and break it to help anyone trapped.
The little Aron hesitated and looked around; if anyone was trapped, it would be polite to go and try to help, otherwise she had a duty to finish eating the door...

Asch glared as he was called an idiot... twice. "Shut up! Give me that plate!" Whether he was being completely serious or delusional, wasn't entirely clear. Either was possible really. "I don't need any damn first aid!"

There was a job to do and Asch couldn't just lay there, thus he tried to get up despite being told to sit still. Although he paused and stared at Alba. Was that super glue? "What the hell are you doing?!"

Another glare was shot at Shadow. "Give me the plate and I'll hold still!" ... For a little bit at least.

Rocket Agent Jerome

PostPosted: Sun Jan 29, 2012 2:35 pm

Jerome stopped close by to where Shawn, Alba and Asch were, seemed one of the younger in the group had gotten seriously injured from falling glass.
Slumping slightly once he had stepped up next to Shawn, he glanced over at his pokemon.
"G'off me Boss, M'good, do what Teach needs," He said, hearing that the older man trying to help the red head needed help keeping the aria clear.

Jerome was starting to sweat, looking like he was in a lot of pain himself, but he drew no attention to it. glancing over at Shawn instead, and at the sky plate he was holding.
"We need a ********' way out of here."
Only problem was, he wasn't seeing any options anytime soon, the Galactics caught them by surprise.

"No, you shut up! I'm not the one who got hit in the head and is bleeding all over the place!" Shadow shot back at Asch. He didn't care what rank he was at the moment. "You could have been killed. And the fact that you don't think you need help just makes me more sure you do. Forget the plate for now."

"Look, if you don't calm down, I'm going to call over that Spiritomb and have her put you to sleep, whether you want to or not. Got it?" he threatened, serious about their mission. "I know you want to help, but you'd only be putting the mission in jeopardy right now, not to mention yourself. Call back your pokemon; I think it's had enough." He nodded over to where he saw Saber hit a pillar.

"...Super glue?" he asked Alba, raising a brow.

"Keeping you from bleeding all over this nice floor," was the curt response to Asch. Starting at one end, Alba pinched the skin back together while applying the clear adhesive. Given the circumstances, he'd have to do spots of this instead of one steady line.

He thanked Boss for holding the fabric out of the way as he worked, and glanced up to thank Jerome in turn. His mouth formed a grim line. "You need to sit down, too," he observed, then went back to work.

"It acts as a temporary second skin," he said in answer to Shadow's question on the glue.

He had to be alive; things were more peaceful when you were dead. Hayes shifted, coughing on ceiling dust and vision blurred; one eye didn't want to open and he could feel a headache coming on. "Dammit-" He struggled to his feet, shedding chips of concrete and marble.

There was a mission on, and he was supposed to be leading it.

Aulus swore, coughed, and swore some more. "You-" he coughed "-you okay Hayes?" Heaving himself upright he turned to his partner, and then he swore again. "********, you're bleeding!" Quite a lot. Aulus grabbed his partner's face between his hands and studied the cut on his brow intently. Didn't look that big, but it bleeding like hell and it was a head injury and that was bad.

"You feel okay?" he asked, now meeting Hayes' eyes. "We can't hang around here, just stay upright, I won't leave you behind."

"Wh- geez!" Hayes hadn't expected the sudden close scrutiny and his reaction was less than graceful. "It's not bad, it's fine," he protested and pulled away, swiping a hand across his eye. For a minute his vision cleared before his eye closed again, protecting itself from the blood that also painted his hand bright crimson. The elite turned away from Aulus, holding his forehead as he looked around for the rest of the - his - team.

"We need to regroup."

"Right," Aulus nodded, feeling kind of stupid and awkward for a moment before he remembered that he had more pressing things to worry about. "Over there!" he exclaimed after scanning for a moment, pointing towards Asch and the people around him. "Let's get over to them," he said, grasping Hayes by the elbow and starting to move.

Asch glared daggers at Shawn. Did he just say no? He was their superior! How dare he say no! The fact that they were both rather stubborn didn't help matters.

Since Shadow wasn't going to give him the plate, Asch made a grab for it and yanked it away from Shawn. Why it was so important for him to hold onto the plate, he wasn't sure. It was just a matter of principle really. He didn't need or want help. He was FINE.

Although Alba did bring up a good point. Grunting, he lifted Saber's Pokeball and returned him.

Havoc meanwhile, looked at Hirss with wide eyes and took off running after a swipe from her claws. The Ponyta bolting back to where Asch was.

When Xander got to his feet he say everyone moving to regroup so he started over to Asch and them as well, Zack beside him like a big guard dog. Looking over the Arcanines shoulder he recalled Angel and Eclipse rather then just call them over.

Conrad ignored the human teammates for the most part other then enough to know they were relatively fine, his attention was still on the enemy though he was grateful the plate had been taken so he had his paws free.

"Wha - HEY!" the street kid yelled as the Sky Plate was stolen once again by the one who had originally stolen it. It wasn't that he wanted the responsibility of holding on to the plate all that much, but he really didn't like the idea of Asch struggling with it when he was so wounded. Especially since he recognized his fellow teen as the sort to not know when he needed help.

Before he could say anything more or try to take back the plate, though, Mairu was tugging on Shawn's coat sleeve. A piece of cement had fallen on Kururi and she hadn't been able to get away in time due to her burned leg. With a heavy sigh and a face full of concern, he quickly hurried over to get her out and return the two felines.

Red's daring assault on Andre was cut short when the nearby Phillip threw himself at the approaching Pidgeot with a Giga Impact, intent on knocking her off course.

The houndoom Angel aimed her assist at was hit by Kururi and Mairu at the same time, and was promptly knocked unconscious.

As Andre hopped up on the railing, Tortie's jaws closed down on nothing - knowing what was coming, Tethys had recalled her Starmie.

Deimos watched the maddness below. Andre's attack effectively froze the battle. All across the room Rockets were stabbed and pinned, slowing their movement and forcing them to regroup. He held a ball up to recall Phillip. "Now, Tethys."

"Fire the hooks."

Somewhere inside the gaping maw spread across the belly of the hovering Dusknoir something gave a loud BANG and a dozen metal cables fired from inside the machine. They spread out across the room like reaching arms, most aimed directly at Rockets. Each cable ended in a tangle of twisting metal cords.

c***k c***k c***k c***k the noises rattled all across the room as the cables collided with their marks and the twisting cords clamped around their targets with the sound of clinking metal. The cords tightened around the first thing they hit, constricting with surprising force, like snakes. Most encountered the arms or legs of their Rocket targets. Some flew pointlessly into display cases, shattering their contents. The cord aimed at Alba narrowly missed its mark, instead hitting an unconscious Houndoom. The one aimed at Asch came up short when Tyke saw it coming and jumped in the way. He wouldn't fail to protect his master again.

Lore was knocked flat by the bizarre sort of grappling hook and winced as it tightened around his leg. Grunting, he rolled over and lifted his head to look around the room. Deimos' device had managed to grab almost every single Rocket there... except the one with the sky plate. He managed a laugh. It was a weak laugh, made ragged by the shard of glass digging into his shoulder. "I hate to criticize, but your aim is lousy!" He shouted up at the machine.

Deimos strolled forward to lean on the edge of the Dusknoir's eye. A strange grin pulled at the corners of his mouth. "Actually.. I'd say it was spot on. What did you think I was aiming for?"

Lore's grin faded. He paled several shades, looking like a man who'd just had a terrible realization.

"Let's go." At Deimos' order, the dozen cables reeled back into the mecha with surprising speed, yanking any Rockets, pokémon or debris on the other end with them. In two seconds seven members of the nine Rocket team disappeared inside the Dusknoir's mouth. It clamped shut behind them, leaving only darkness.

The Galactics on the floor took hold of the cables they'd repelled down on as the mech angled upward. With a blast from the afterburner affixed to its rear, the mech shot from the destroyed museum's ceiling, leaving Asch, Alba, the sky plate and any pokemon that hadn't been recalled.

Espresso and Cappuccino stared, wide eyed, at the spot Lore had occupied a moment ago.

- - -

[And with that, our raid concludes. Feel free to make posts for people and pokémon on the ground. Those inside the Dusknoir will be dealt with in another thread soon. As far as this raid is concerned, they're gone.]

Both Conrad and Zack stared in shock at where their friend had been just a moment ago. How had this gone so wrong? Zack promptly stared pacing and howled at the broken roof, spitting a few embers up where the mech had been for good measure while Conrad ran in circles around Asch and Alba while crying out.

Suddenly things went from bad to worse. Grappling hooks shot forth and grabbed almost all the Rockets. Asch stared in complete disbelief, especially as his own Zorua jumped in the way and was grabbed instead of him.

"Tyke!" he shouted, only able to watch helplessly as the Zorua was pulled, howling, into the mech along with all of his teammates aside from Alba.

What was left was a mess... a bunch of Pokemon, and two Rockets.

Tortie watched the snake-like thing reach out and grab her master. Leaping to her paws she tried to sprint after it, but quickly stumbled and slumped to the ground panting heavily. Gone. Her eyes slid closed, and she slipped out of consciousness.

Tortie was not the only one in an unfortunate state; though Red was awake one wing hung limply by her side, and she swayed on her feet; that Giga Impact had almost fainted her. Not quite though, and that was good because she had just seen something she needed to do. Hopping awkwardly forward she grasped her severed crest in her beak. Now what?

Much as he wanted to give chase Char knew he had no chance of catching that jet, but he stared after it as though he could draw it back by sheer effort of will. In looking up however he too saw something important; a small purple Spinarak drifting towards the ground by means of a web parachute, four pokeballs stuck onto it at intervals. When the bug alighted, trembling like a leaf, Char bent down to pat it gently and gave a reassuring rumble. Taking the pokeballs off the web the Charizard returned its companions and then stumped over to the remaining Rockets.

"Charrr?" [Now what?] He assumed they would go back to base and from there... from there, there would be a plan. They would go after the people who had taken their people, who had taken his master, and they would rescue them.

What? s**t! "No! Tri- AH!" Alba made to stand for whatever reason as the cables retracted, but went right back to his hands and knees on the ground. Of course. He'd been completely zeroed in on the injuries of others around him. He hadn't even felt the glass shard that had rained down and pierced his left calf earlier. "Dammit..." This wasn't happening. His very first mission- This wasn't. effing. happening. "Arceus, DAMMIT!"

"Ch-Ching?" Spook sadly toddled over and carefully touched her human's arm.

"H-How do we..." If he remembered right, Asch outranked him. "Sir? What should we do?"

Rocket Agent Jerome

"Sittin' down is the last thing I need to be doin'."
they were in a battle, they had enemy team members hovering overhead, practically holding all the cards. Jerome was thankful he had more Pokemon now, his thoughts, and vision were starting to get a little fuzzy the longer he stood there.

And while he had every intention of staying standing, his legs were giving in, and he involuntary sank down to a knee. Bowing forward and holding his limp ******** was the least of Jerome's worries though. He wasn't even looking when something hit him, and seemed to coil its way around his body, shooting further pain across his arms.
Letting out a sudden grunt of pain, jerking his head up to see what the hell just happened. wide blacked eyes finding a metal cable, leading from where it was gripping around his body, up to the the Galactic ship.

Despite his handy cap, Jerome jerked himself to his feet, trying to pull himself away from the bindings.

"Gangar?" Bro glanced over his shoulders, glowing eyes wide in shock to see Jerome had been snagged in one of the cables.
The Ghost turned, flying as fast as he could to his friend, but all the Rockets had been pulled up into the machine before Bro could get there.
"GAR GAR!" The Ghost had every intention of going after it, sounding alarmed and panicked, calling out to Jerome.
But the after burners kicked in, and the force was enough to knock Bro' backwards, slamming, and bouncing him through the rubble before he came to rest by the far wall.

"NITE NITE PIGNITE!" Boss was yelling. [********! Bro'! Get up there you fat lard!] whatever he had been doing for the older Rocket, Boss had completely abandoned, seeing most of the team being snatched away before their eyes, Jerome included.

Bro pushed himself free from the rubble eye twitching [SHUT THE ******** UP!] He yelled back to Boss, trying to get into the air again, but the tub of mechanics that had taken the rockets was already jetting out of there, There was no way Bro could even hope to catch up.
The half glowing Gangar got up to level with the huge hole in the ceiling before he stopped, his mouth dropping open in shock, hanging in air with his limbs tense, and his eyes bright and wide.

What... Just happened....
