Riordan smiled back to Loa as he gently took the flower, lightly brushing his fingers against hers. "What would I do without you? Well, other than have to run through the hallways to escape the nobles." H finished with a small smirk as he spread his arms, for Loa to pick him up. "

Loa relinquished the flower, blushing lightly when his fingers brushed against hers. She wondered if he had done it deliberately. No, the Prince would never do such a thing... Would he? "Walk a good deal more, I suspect." She said softly, with a slight smile. When bidden, Loa wrapped her arms around him like she always had, and with a few flaps of her wings, they were in the air. She only hoped that if he could feel her heartbeat, he'd attribute the speed to the flight.

((First of all, I apologize for not replying in a while. My computer keeps glitching and it wasn't letting me do anything D: But it's up and running now with the occasional glitch))
Faelynn nodded in agreement to Slaine's statements. She wasn't one to assume other's fighting skills based off of wounds, but she could agree when it came to Lorne. She didn't know him personally, she didn't know any of the patients personally, but she could still testify to Lorne's fighting skill.
Godelieve looked a little panicked when Lorne hurt himself more by laughing. "Maybe we should get you to that clinic faster?" As luck would have it, a few seconds later a girl ran into the horse. Godelieve didn't talk, Lorne was one to do so, and she observed. When she saw the beached whale, she gave the girl a sympathetic look. "Well, if you are coming, hop on. I can make a bit of room for you. If not, I'd run." She kept her emotions out of her voice and simply stated it.

Prince Riordan always loved the feeling of flight. It was true freedom, And he owed it to Loa. He couldn't imagine his life without her. She was always with him. He relished the few moments of freedom before landing int he courtyard, to a crowd of angry nobles. THey all started to speak angrily some even berating Loa for doing something so reckless and foolish. The Prince raised a hand silencing them. "All of you shut up. It was my ideam so I could get something for our newest noble family. Loa shares no blame, and any who try to say otherwise will answer to me personally. Do I make myself clear?" He said before taking Loa, gently by the hand and leading her away from the noble mob, and towards the newest family. They had a lovely young daughter, whom he approached, "Greetings, I am Prince Riordan. It is a pleasure to meet you and welcome you to the castle." He said holding the flower out to her, "And such a fine family. I look forward to getting to know you better." He then looked to his father, "I do hope the nobles didn't do anything foolish during my absence?"

Rose smiled. The king liked her family...as odd as it was, and even humored little Alicia's dream..he really was a great guy. It made her wonder why there were so many people who decided that he was sick because he was older. It was at that thought that the prince arrived, holding out a lower for her. Befoere she could take it, the pink clad tiny girl walked up with huge eyes, "REALLY, you got a flower...just for ME?! You really shouldn't have. I mean, I know it's you gotta fall for a princess, but I'm still so little. But, if you really wanna, I can see about us getting married." Rose laughed at Alicia's persuasion, "Thanks. My family and I were a bit worried we would do so many things wrong, but you anfd your father have made us feel welcome. You might want to give the flower for the little one." Kyle Alexander, having seen a new facehid further behind his mother. Tony and Melody smiled down at the shy boy before Melody stepped foreword, "It is simply a pleasure, Prince Riorden. Allow me to introduce my family to you." My name is Melody, and this is my husband Tony." Tony gave a bow as he was gestured to, "and my children, from oldest to youngest. Our oldest boy, Benjamin, couldn't make the trip today. He had his apprenticeship at the blacksmith. He wants to finish what he started...a bit stuborn, that boy. Next is Rose here." Rose gave a curtsie, "Followed by Kyle Alexander, who is currently hiding behind my legs." Kyle Alexander tried to pretend not to be there, "And I believe you have met my youngest, Alicea, who wants nothing more than to be a princess." Rose added, "And marry a prince." Laughing a bit, wondering how he would react to this.
A faint rustling caught Shade's attention, and her turned his head...nothing was there though...at least not until a fom showed itself with it's life energy touching the ground where he could see it. Having been startled, instinct took over, and his bow was kocked, and pointed at the girl just before she spoke...she seemed innocent enough, but his muscles were still tensed. His ranger training took over, "Honestly, that would depend on weather or not you wish to harm the forest. Oh, and you really should not sneak up on people like that...if I was a less calm of a person, I would have shot you in the knee." he laid slack on the bow, but still had it ready for if theis girl was trying to harm the forest, "Why are you sneaking around, anyway?" he asked, gauging the girl.
"Oh, that's perfect. My mother works for the clinic. She's not there right now. She's actually fast asleep in her bed last I saw, but there are many people who know me, so they might be able to get me home safe. Thanks again for the help." Madison nodded a bit sheepishly. She wasn't quite used to horse back, so the bumpiness of the ride was a bit odd, but she was greaful to get away from Ms. Beached Whale...and she knew that once she got home, her mom and dad would be upset, but they would probally understand. It was just so pretty out. One thing that Madison hated about her gift was that she had so many rules because of it. Don't go out without someone with you, preferably family, tell someone before hand, try not to talk to people, be unnoticable...her father tried these rules to keep her safe. He just wanted to make sure she didn't get hurt. And then her mother just said, "Try to keep yourself safe, but live your own life too. You're too quiet as it is. This thing may be a gift to you yet." Nothing yet so far, mom.

King Kennard laughed softly at Alicia's interpertation of Riordan's offered flower- an offering that did not deceive him. Glancing back at Loa, he wondered if the flower had been her idea. How many times had one of Prince Riordan's methods of getting out of trouble really been Loa's doing? He glanced over at the nobles as they were introduced to his son. Despite the arguements he and his son often had, King Kennard felt a spark of pride seeing how well-behaved he was towards the newcomers.
Loa stood to the back, behind her Prince, watching them with her calm, observant eyes. Spotting the shy boy, she gave him a small, encouraging smile. Glancing back at the parents of the newest noble family, Loa returned her face to it's expressionless mask. During a lull in conversation, Loa contemplated introducing herself, and explaining what she was doing there, and how her bodyguards could provide protection for any of the children- but instead averted her gaze to the other side of the area. Best to not be too forward.

Riordan smiled to Alicia. "I suppose you are a bit young for me. You should meet my little brother. I think you'd like him more than me, but you can still have the flower." He said before handing her the flower and looking to Rose, "For you, however," He said walkign to a window and reaching out plucking a blue rose from a rosebush, "This seems more appropriate." He looked to Melody and Tony, "I hope to one meet both of your sons. Oh, and I shoudl introduce someone very important to me." He said as he reache dovr and gently took Loas hand and pulled her over, "This is my bodyguard, Loa."
Lorne smirked, "Well, then it all works out. I need my shoulder fixed up." he siad as he urged the horse a little faster. Within no time there came up tot he hospital, "Whoa, looks like a little party in there." He said he he leaped of the horse, still holding his wounded shoulder. "I hope its safe." He said, wary of large groups.
Alexandre noted the horse arrive outside and he noted the one passanger who dismounted. "Slaine, is that man, Lorne? He appears to be injured. And he has some companions."

Loa didn't realize he was refering to her until she felt his hand on hers and she was being pulled over. For a split second she froze, so stunned that he'd do that, since it broke many of the rules the king had set down, and he was right next to them. "I-" She executed a graceful bow, odd though it was for a woman to bow rather than curtsy, and managed to speak clearly. "I serve as His Highness' bodyguard, and train the other bodyguards and many regular guards of the castle. If you ever need to seek out someone to protect you, you need only ask, and I will find someone appropriate." Loa glanced at King Kennard out of the corner of her eye, trying to guage his reacion.
Kennard's rage was born of a worry he'd rather not think to heavily on. He did, however, shoot Riordan a 'We'll talk later' look, before smiling charmingly to Tony. "I'm afraid I'm late for a council meeting. I will no doubt see you again today, and until then, farewell." Kennard swung away regally and swept away- careful not to stop until he was out of sight. Damnit! Why must the boy care so strongly for that damn Beastial! An elf-beastial, even!
Slaine glanced over to the windows, smiling softly when he saw it was indeed Lorne. "Yes, that's Lorne. I'm unsure who his companions are." Stepping towards the door, Slaine opened it with a small smile, one that was obviously concerned. "Hurt again, Lorne? Well, come on in then." His gaze flickered. "One of my other patients would like to meet you, actually."
Oralee glanced out the window at the one called Lorne, wondering if he would bolt at the sight of all these people.

"Yeah, Slaine, I got nailed in the left shoulder by some poison barbs. Don't worry about the poison that was taken care of, And the barbs are out. I just have some holes in my shoulder. Oh, and a bite mark." He said with a nervous grin, "And who wants to see me? If I'm in trouble, I'm outta here." He said taking a cautious step back, "I'll leave this girl here, her mom works here." He said pointing to Madison, "Just tell me its not the guards."

Xanatos walked along a dirt path that had slowly formed from his time leaving the sands of his home. The earth here was hard and covered in greenery. He abesntmindedly woundered how many of his kinsmen had come from the south to live here in this middle country of Incolumitas. His sand white robes he wore to protect himself from the blistering sands and hot sun covered him from head to toe. Only his vibrent green eyes peeked through. On his jouney along this path creaturs native to the land popped in and out of sight. The land here on the outside of the path was lush and growing. Animals ran this way and that chaseing mates and cubs. Xanatos couldn't help but lick his lips woundering if the meat here was as good as the hunt back home.
He decided that a rest was necessary and walked off the path a fair bit. He could hear the running of water and this attracted him to the prospect of a drink. His water skin had all but tried up in the last two days of his walk though it fazed him little as he had grown up with shortages of water. He found a bubbling brook and was amazed at the clearity of the exposed and running water. Back home water would need to be cleaned before it was drinkable. He tested it with his clawed hand and it chilled his warm golden scales. He filled his water skin to the brim and drank greedily. He filled it again and then corked it. He sat down and from a large brown bag he pulled a bundle of sweet smoked meats. He let his talons seep into the soft earth and scratch the surface. This land had much, good land, plenty of water, game for the hunt. His tribe would do well if they were to come here and claim it for there own. He layed his staff next to him as he tore into a chunk of the meat. His eyes darted this way and that his warrior training not allowing himself to be caught off guard by anything.
He smiled under the cover of his robes as his little feast reminded him of home. He tapped the blade hanging off his belt with one of his claws, its tang seemed to cut through the silence of the little scene. He packed up again and started walking north again. He decided to escew the path and take his lumbering frame through the woods. He was less then stealthy but in his mind he had nothing to fear here. He used his metal staff to push aside tree branches. His talons cut into the dirt and it felt so strange not having to compensate for the shifting sands. He kept his cloke clutched close around him now more to keep the chill of the northern air at bay.

Slaine glanced over at Alexandre and Oralee, before shaking his head. Nope, they were about as far from guards as could be. "Nope. More like prospective employers." Slaine motioned him inside, even as he walked up and examined his wound. "A simple enough job, either way." Slaine glanced into Lorne's eyes and tilted his head. "Would you like the healing," Which while quicker would most likely burn with mild pain as the flesh fused itself back together, "Or would you like either me or my sister to stitch you up the regular old way?"

((Still following along.)) ❀Sophia Pendragon☠
Sophie laid on her back and watched the sunlight filter through the tree branches above her. The steady rock of the carriage was a bit soothing but she remained alert. She lay spread out across the top of the vehicle's roof unknown to both the driver and the passengers. Sure she could move a bit faster on foot but this exerted less energy and well it was relaxing. turning her head a bit she wanted to get a better listen on the conversation inside the cart. Something along the lines of what were some of the latest fashion trends or could they believe what some other noble did. Her eyes rolled at how petty these people lives were. The bumps soon became less common as the carriage exited the sparse forest and settled into the well worn paths of a trade route. Ah well, she'd get there eventually. [

Xanatos walked through the woods feeling his way along in the woods his talons on his feet finding themselves deep in soft earth. He listened to the nature around him and found himself almost at ease here. He pushed aside the last tree blocking him in this little refuge. He looked and saw flat lands. He had heard tell that the lands north of his beloved Auster-Stri didn't have the same moutain like dunes but this was almos to much. He dusted himself off and started heading towards what he thought was a city far off in the distance.
Little did he know his little stint through the forest had adusted his cource. He had adjusted himself to far off to be heading for Incolumitas insted he headed for Exortensis. Though not having a map or knoledge of the areas outside of his desert he knew no better. Without breaking stride he still walked onward. His white robes now covered with traces of dirt and of the trees.
He found a road again though this one was far more well maintained. He tapped his talons agenst the hard earth and decided it would be best now to just follow the road where it led. His mind wandered as he walked and looked at the open world before him. He thought his mission was very straight forward bt upon seeing what this side of the sand had to offer he thought maybe an exploration might be in order. Even with his mind somewhere his senses were alert as he heard the click click click of wheels and hooves. He gripped his staff and felt his muscles tense.

Lorne smirked to Slaine, "Good buddy, getting me jobs now are you?" He winced slightly as the wound was examined. "And while I normally wouldn't mind yours sisters nimble hands tending to my latest injury," He then looked towards Oralee and the others, "Judging by the looks of them, I'll probably be doing alot of physical activity, and I'd rather not pull stitches loose, so I'll have to go for a healing. Not like I haven't felt it before."
Alexandre raised an eyebrow at Lornes words and actions. "Or....Nye....Are you sure he will be an asset and not a hindrance? He seems......rash." He looked Lorne over, "And he doesn't look like a skilled fighter. He doesn't appear a fighter at all. He looks like a dilo." Alexandre said, dropping another word of his native tongue,

Slaine gave a shrug. "They asked my opinion, and I gave it." Slaine didn't really react to Lorne's very slight flirting with his sister- or flirting... about her? He just trusted his sister to do the right thing. He nodded and gave a slight smirk. "Yeah, from what I've picked up about that group, healing is probably the better idea." Slaine regretted that his gift caused pain to heal, but it was sometimes- often- the best course of action. It was as he healed the wound that Alexandre spoke.
Oralee didn't react to the hesitation as Alexandre was calling her by the adopted name. She simply walked- painfully- towards Lorne and stared him in the eye. "I'm rash. Sometimes what is rash is simply following instincts." Her gaze flickered to his ears and tail. "And I've learned to trust a Beastials instincts." She inclined her head. "Would you rather I not use the term Beastial? Each person has their preference." She lifted her chin. "I have something I need to do, and this one," She gestured to Alexandre. "Insists I am too injured to go alone. I will heal, but the travel there will be nearly as difficult as the job once I get there." Her gaze flickered back to him, something of recognition flaring in their depths. "I have a challenge. In an attempt to save their life, I need aid in stealing... someone, rather than something."
