Veith was here for another check up. He was sitting and waiting for the results in the laboratory. There were... cages... in the lab. They were covered with blankets, but it as obvious to tell they were cages. Veith could hear things coming from the cages and he didn't like it. Were there experiments of animals going on in here? Or... other species?

That would be bad then! Veith didn't count since he was already an experiment, but ruining the lives of other people was just wrong! Who was he kidding? There was nothing he could do about this? He knew there were other inhabitants in this mansion since it was pointlessly big. He got himself involved with some shady people.

And he found it weird that Cyril was very knowledgeable with human experiments and he also attended Rosentale like a regular student. What was the purpose of being a student? From constant interaction with Cyril and due to his heaviness and unusual strength, he couldn't be human. He didn't feel like one. Gah... that just sounded so wrong.

So what was Cyril? Who were the people here and why do they have a lab down here? What is their purpose? What are their jobs? Veith didn't know very much of the situation here, but he wanted to find out.

Cyril returned with the results. Veith was still slowly losing his health. Apparently his body just wanted to fail and die away already, but Cyril wouldn't allow that to happen. "Well, your stability is much better, but you're still falling apart. It's at a much slower rate than last time. I think you have to just stop stressing yourself out and avoid using your magic and you'll eventually start to recover." Cyril informed once he finished writing down all his notes.

"I'll prepare a solution for you that should be able to help you. Drink it every night." Cyril said as he started to rummage through the supplies to make the solution. "If nothing starts to get better, then I might have to start experimenting on you to see what's wrong. You know, with sharp objects and everything."

He probably shouldn't tell Veith that he was looking forward to it though and that he was hoping that Veith wouldn't get better. He's not sabotaging the boy, but he was hoping that his solution wouldn't work.

Veith was glad to hear that he was stabilizing and was better than before and his heart sank when he heard that if he didn't get better, he would be experimented on. Oh no... he did not want to go back to those days when he would lay on a table and have people cut him up! He'd rather degrade! For now, he'll just hope he'll get better. "Thanks... Hopefully the medicine will help me feel better."

Suzanne entered the lab through shadows. When she dove escaped from her mother, she went straight to Ichirou's house since she wanted to get far away from the school as quickly as possible. She was shaken and when she was out of the shadows, she grasped a table, waiting to stop shaking. Dear shadows. She was almost killed there! Apparently her mother lost her strength, but she still knew how to make pretty much any random object dangerous. Who sold sharp pointy umbrellas anyways?!

Veith was surprised when a purple head just leapt out from the shadows and was busy staring at the table. It took him a while to register that this person was the librarian!? What was she doing here?! He spoke with her hardly. Actually, none at all, but he saw her around. What the heck!? Even the librarian was involved with this shady place!? "Wait a moment! Is Rosentale affiliated with this place?! Cyril? Who is the owner of this mansion?" After all, this was still illegal human experimenting that Cyril was skilled at to an extent it worried Veith. Now the librarian was part of this too!? Rosentale... Was it a cover up for illegal experiments!?

Suzanne glanced at the noise happening behind her. Oh? A student. "Cyril? Bringing friends over? What is the meaning of this? He doesn't know?" Suzanne asked as she walked over to inspect the boy. She had forgotten about her near death experience and was more curious about Cyril's actions. If anything, she might have to silence this boy. He didn't seem to want to comply with what they were doing here.

Cyril glanced at the uninvited guest. Oh right. Suzanne would definitely frequent this place. She liked to do experiments too. Cyril didn't think this through very well, did he? He was pretty sure he could keep Veith from the truth, but seeing teachers from Rosentale was probably going to have Veith questioning some things. Well, he might as well lie to the boy.

"Veith, I will divulge to you a secret." Cyril said to him. "Rosentale is just a cover up. The truth about it is that Rosentale has it's acceptance policy so they could have many species gather in one place. Some students will disappear and the school will say that they dropped out or were sent home or something. Especially if these people don't have family. Most people without a family tend to disappear more easier than others. The truth is that those creatures are taken and used for experiments. That is the true nature of Rosentale. There are a select few who know and some are students spying on the other students to find good experiments."

Cyril walked over to Veith and was seriously lying through his teeth. "Veith. I sort of like you... as a person and occasionally I think of you as a friend." Cyril told him as he gave Veith a pat on the shoulder. "If it was found out that you know and you're not a trusted student, you'll be killed. The headmistress is merciless. You mustn't say a word of it because the people you tell will also be killed. You have lives on your hands and if you breathe a word of this, you'll be killing those lives."

"It's corrupt and there is nothing to be done. It's better if you stay silent about this."

What is he doing!? Cyril is lying to the boy just to keep silent!? If anything, lie to him to make him join them! Suzanne shoved Cyril aside and grabbed Veith's shoulder shaking him a little. "Boy! You don't understand how crazy the headmistress is on the inside. She's nice and dandy on the outside, but really nuts if you get to know her, but you'll never get to know her since she picks people by ability and you're just... not good enough! I know you're not! So you would never be able to get on her good side! If it's ever found out that you know about us, it's all over for you. You're dead and you know, the headmistress is cruel. Even if you didn't tell your friends, she'll kill your friends with you anyways because she'll think you said something to them. So whether you said something to them or not, you're still dead! Dead, I tell you! Listen up, if you want to protect your friends, you have to earn your place amoungst us! That means, you have to fight with us."

Veith was very conflicted with the news he was being given. He didn't know what to do. Then when the librarian grabbed his shoulder and started yelling at him, Veith was even more conflicted. He had to work with these shady people now!? He was trying to organize his thoughts and trying to figure otu what was going on. He shoved the librarian's hands off him and put some distance between him and her. "Wait. Slow down! So you're saying that the headmistress is crazy and if she finds out that I know about you guys, she'll kill me and my friends? What do you mean by fight with you?" Veith snapped.

Suzanne got him now. He was confused. Time to swoop in and confirm his alliance. "We're secretly against the headmistress. Our goal is to destroy the school so no more people will get hurt. We already got the first lab destroyed under the school, but there are still other labs, but we can't find them since most of the people who are part of our little rebellion are lower ranked people in the trust spectrum. The people who are very trusted are all rotten people and are very good at acting like they care and being kind. The nicer the person is, the more you can't trust them. Hey, kid. Maybe you can help us destroy the school and stop the evil happening."

((I'll let Cyril add more to the bull Suzanne is saying before Veith agrees. >8D ))

Cyril was lost for words for a bit. Suzanne did have a brain! If Cyril was human, it would bring joy to him, but it didn't and he just added it to his databanks and made a smiley face beside the information because it was good information. Yes. Cyril was a walking computer with a sense of humor.

"Yeah. That's the whole truth of it all. I seriously don't want to get you involved, but I know that once you're recovered, you'll be helpful. To destroy the school, we need to bring down the reputation. Exposing the secret is too hard, so we have to attack the very core of why people come here. The acceptance policy. We need to get species to start hating each other again and start distrusting the school. That's the only way. Some people might get hurt in the process, but it's for the sake of everyone so no one else will get killed." Cyril added.

It looked like Veith was buying into this. It's not like he had a reason not to. He never met the headmistress and this boy was so pessimistic, he could definitely believe in such a lie. If not, Cyril will just try to do some research in memory destruction.

Or... just kill off his valuable specimen. Hopefully not.

Ichirou finally returned home from his journey. He brought some souvenirs, but he didn't want to give them to anyone really. He figured the lab was done by now. When he entered his home, it was beautifully silent. Now, to go see this lab and lock the pests in there.

Not really. He wasn't going to do that. He needed them to destroy Rosentale which they probably were currently slacking off on. Ichirou dropped his things on a couch and walked to the lab where he heard talking. He entered and found an unfamiliar boy in the laboratory being bombarded by Cyril and Suzanne. Of course these two were here.

Cyril lived here and Suzanne... well... she was a funny case of crazy that he regretted acquainting himself with. "I've returned. Now what is this all about?" Ichirou asked.

Suzanne heard a familiar voice and she turned and saw Ichirou. He was back! She gave a big grin and left Veith to Cyril. She hoped by now that Cyril understood what she was trying to do anyways. She walked up to Ichirou and took his hands and shook them. "You're back! Welcome back, Ichirou. Alright, so back to business. I'll show you around. Cyril did some stuff with the lab, but I've already got some places memorized but I'm sure you probably want to see what Ian and I made. Their reproduction system is very odd and they breed at a fast pace. I suggest we let loose a few in Rosentale Academy and it will be infested with them." Suzanne explained to Ichirou as she released his hands and flicked her hand to indicate for him to follow her. "They're weak creatures essentially, but they can tire out our opponents since they reproduce quickly. The security guards will be busy trying to get rid of the pest and Rosentale may try to retaliate with adding more security guards, but it'll bring down the reputation and the safety of the place if it is infested with questionable creatures."

Veith was letting everything sink in a little. It kind of made sense, but he's never met the headmistress before so he wasn't sure if they were telling the truth or not. But acting was easy for some people. It was hard to know who to trust. He could see a smile and in the inside is dangerous intent. Veith didn't know what to do.

He thought of his... his... f-f-f-f-friends.............. Although most of them had family and they might not be ones that he had to worry about, but there was Kasie who was already dead. Except, he wasn't sure if he should get her involved. After all, there were exorcists that could easily be hired and Veith felt like exorcism would be a terrible way for a ghost to die because they are being forced to go away before they finished whatever business they had left. What was the bind that bounded Kasie to this world anyways? Well... to be frank, he kind of didn't want to find out since... she'd go away once it was rid of right?

Well, it's not Veith that would be sad, but Kamil would cry for sure. That's it.

But he did not like the idea of monsters. The catsnake monster was definitely their doing. Suzanne's talk about monsters seemed to confirm it in Veith's mind. However, he didn't like the thought of using monsters because it hurt other people, but they did it because they wanted to stop the unnecessary deaths that were happening in Rosentale Academy. Veith sat in silence as he tried to contemplate what he should do. He glanced at Cyril since the librarian had already gone to talk to this Ichirou person. "Alright. I'll help out... I guess." Veith said.

Ichirou was back! Cyril gave Suzanne a brief glare for completely stealing his welcome back line. As Ichirou's best friend, that was Cyril's job! Darn that woman! She just dropped Veith on him, didn't she? Cyril sighed. "Welcome back from your trip, Ichirou." Cyril said, putting Veith on hold since he is less important than Ichirou. "Do you want something to eat before getting straight to work ?"

Cyril then turned to Veith. "Glad to hear you'll help. I'll be the one in charge of you then since you kind of got into this by accident. Some of the people in our group may seem shady. Pay no mind to them. They're just unused to other people is all." Cyril said. "You'll be taking orders from me so don't listen to Suzanne."

There. Revenge. That way Suzanne will regret dumping the brat on Cyril.

Ichirou was not expecting the warm welcome, although, he liked it. Mainly because he learned that the simpletons were doing work for once and the boy in the room that Ichirou did not recognize seemed to have been a new recruit which he will have to ask Cyril about later. For now, he will say nothing and ignore his existence. However, Ichirou did not like the touch of Suzanne's hands. This lower being dared to touch him? He will have to wash his hands thoroughly later when she was gone or before he ate or touched any of his things.

"I will in a bit, Cyril. First I want to hear a little more from Suzanne." Ichirou said which was a line he thought he would never have to say at all. He was proved wrong apparently. He turned his attention back to Suzanne as he began to follow her, letting her show him around the lab.

"When will we be able to send them out to Rosentale? I've heard of family week and I'm afraid the perfect time to do it has already passed but you can still salvage some of the time and send them out today. I'm sure if parents see these abominations with their own eyes, they will surely want to get their children out of Rosentale."

Sadly, most of them were all out somewhere at this point, enjoying the city, but they could still do some little damage by sending them out now.

Wait? Why wasn't Suzanne one to give orders to Veith? Just Cyril? Who did this boy robot thing think he is? Because he doesn't even seem like he could amount to much. But then again he was a robot. Argh. What the heck is this robot thinking? Suzanne wanted another slave! She wanted another one! Because Silveril won't stay her slave forever!

Suzanne will just ignore this and will just hog Ichirou's attention. Not that she could keep his attention for very long since Cyril seemed to already have him at food and Suzanne would lose his attention after she showed him the monsters. "I didn't release them because they're all in critical condition. All the monsters are like that after being made. I have to nurse them to health for a bit and the half of the offsprings always end up dead at some point. I need to work on the genes a bit more and make it so that they can live persistently like cockroaches." Suzanne was frustrated with this setback and it was ruining everything and it sure was taking a lot of time, but it would be fruitful work once perfected.

"I'll be here to work when I can, but I have work at the library too. I have a slave there that has been pestering me and might get suspicious if I don't work."

Veith decided that this was enough for the day. He was feeling tired. Since he spent most of the day being an experiment, he just wanted to get some rest. He got up from where he was sitting. He will have to ask about this random stranger that just got back from a trip later. "I'll just head to bed already. I'll stay over here for the night and then head to Rosentale with Cyril in the morning." Veith said. And he will ask for more explanations when he was thinking properly.

Veith left the laboratory and went to a spare room to go get some sleep.

((Getting rid of Veith so I won't be so swamped. D8<))

When was this woman done talking? Cyril waited and waited and he didn't even notice Veith leave to go get some sleep since he wanted to and make food for Ichirou and then be praised for a job well done because that's how things usually work around here and as for Veith's coming into the alliance, it was mostly Cyril since he found the boy to begin with anyways!

So Suzanne was just hogging Ichirou's attention. Finally, Cyril felt like it was a good time to take Ichirou back. "Well, I think that is enough work for today." Cyril said as he gave Ichirou's sleeve a good tug. "There's nothing else she can do now since she said she still has to work on the monsters. How about some pound cake and some tea?"

"Or would you prefer some rice pastry and green tea?"

Ah well, at least she was making some progress. "I see. Good work........... Suzanne." Ichirou said to her. "I hope to see these monsters up and infesting Rosentale as soon as possible." Praise. He figured if he praised the woman, it'd help motivate her just a little. He wasn't sure if it would work on Suzanne, but it was worth a shot. Words were just words, but depending on the person receiving the words, they were powerful tools occasionally.

He glanced at Cyril and then turned away from Suzanne so he could head out of the laboratory. "I've been too long in the east. I would like some pound cake and tea." Ichirou said to Cyril. He was glad to be home so he could just relax for a while.

What is this? What is this? She felt the fires of competition! What does Suzanne do? Nothing really. She wasn't very much a competitive person; however, she did have nothing else to do and she was lonely and she was afraid of running into her mother. She didn't want to be alone. So if Ichirou did value her membership in this alliance, he would protect her from her mother right? Ichirou did seem strong. Cyril... eh... not so much strong at all.

And she heard there were some events happening for family week. "Oh! I heard there was something going on in the beach! I suggest we go!" Suzanne said as she followed Ichirou and Cyril. "After we eat, of course. Because you know, we all need some happy time to play!" And because Suzanne wondered if there could be any stupid people watching that she could do. Or if there was a perfect chance to shove someone into the bonfire and see what happens. Suzanne always wanted to do that. Of course, she'll have to be sneaky about it. Not that being sneaky was at all hard when it was dark for Suzanne.
