  Both Blackhawks pulled a few 'G's keepingup with RC's manuever, and this time a single stream of fire barely missed Kai as she felt a slight graze from a couple of feathers. Echo One called back to base, Echo One to Base, I think we have the next Hawkgirl here. We're pulling a few G's keeping up. We're going to flush her into the canyon. Over."Ivana returned the hail, "Echo One, continue as planned. We'll bag her." the dark haired elegant woman switched channels, "Comp One, release the combat drones. And Threshold... since you're done playing with the intruders. Go get Hawkgirl, if you please?"...... Threshold coolly tapped his comm as the Black Talons began to take the pair of unconsicous 'ladies' away, "Always wishing to be helpful. I'll greet our latest guest. Threshold out. As the blond mentalist switched off his comm, Michael turned to the Black Talon in charge, "Take them both to my Interrogation Chamber. Make sure they are properly sedated until my return."Yes Sir!!" With that, Threshold walked out of the building onto the tarmac and extended his arms slightly chuckling. First his cape levitated and then the rest of him did. And with the power of his thought, Threshold flew toward the canyon to greet Red Cardinal....

 Nathalia gritted her teeth. One...two...three she inhaled slowly and exhaled as Rachel insulted her. And then, as stupid as the chick was, she brought up the redheaded step child comment. Her eyes flashed. That touched a nerve. "That's it blondie." she snapped, already moving as Kat was shoved to the floor. Her mixed martial arts background kicked in and she was sending a blow to Rachel's nose, a follow up to her stomach. Nathalia was livid and steaming.

 Rachel barely managed to block Nat's straight forward attack to to her nasal passages, but missed seeing the strike to her abdomen. Slightly doubled over from that blow, Rachel's head was still clearly thinking. First, she grabbed a hold of Nat's wrist that was closest to her stomach, then with a thrust upward attempted a backward headbutt to try to catch Nat's chin.

Her wrist caught, Nathalia could feel Rachel's body making its upward thrust. She leaned back, allowing the force exerted on her wrist from Rachel to hold her in place as she sent a kick to the oncoming head. The result should be enough shock for Rachel to release her wrist, and possibly a nice shiner to the chin. Nat was surprised at how well the woman was thinking at the moment, winded as she was. Grudging respect began to grow for her.

Sarah Rainmaker knew that at certain times, battles should be fought through and not inturrupted but the fact that Caitlin had been shoved back so rudely for trying to break them up really angered her. She looked around, before making an action that might end up having her sent to the barrocks for beating on other girls.
"Sorry Cat, if you want I could try to stop their high school girl bickering for you."
She uncrossed her arms and helped Caitlin up from being shoved over handing her her glasses that had fallen off when she was pushed down.
Roxy just watched, her anger boiling as she was half tempted to punch both girls into shutting up. Especially after what they did to Caity. She cracked her knuckles and glared at the girls before stepping up to them.
"You girls want a fight?"

Kai dropped Dundee off without further due holding him so that he would skid on his feet to a stand if he kept balance. She then flew around back at the copters to draw them away from her friends and the fire up. She felt the bullets grazing the black feathers on her wings. Not good. Her wings were already getting hot in the blaring sun of the desert. The muscles in her wings began to stiffen and ache from the heat coupled with the speed and carrying Dundee but she had to get these copters to stopped. She reached onto her belt for a batarang wielding it as she approached the side of one of the copters pulling quite a bit of speed of course she stayed to the outside but used her intangibility to reach into the copters rear portion just from the landing gear to slice the gas tank with the batarang. Her momentum dropped quite a bit as the tanks friction to her blade took up a lot of her strength. She managed to remove her batarang within a few seconds and shove off of the copter's side in a dive for the ground to once again regain speed.
((Cutting up the gas tanks, the best RC got right now sweatdrop . She's no Superman, Wonder Woman or green lantern... that and she has Dun and Arell to worry about. ))

Henry had been working in the closed secure room for quite a while now. His research on the wreckage from the last encounter was taking him longer than he had anticipated but he finally had some results. He picked up a small working prototype for a new, unmanned suit, and a bracer along with the designs and paperwork on both items.
He walked out of the room to realize that all hell had broken loose while he was in there. "Well crap." He used his radio to contact Ivana. "What's going on? One of my results from the wreckage might just help." He was walking quickly towards her office.

Dundee skidded and dove into a forward roll before stopping. Getting to his feet, he started to get the hell out of dodge as fast as he could. s**t. I gotta improvise this one! he thought as he dove behind a rock, a snake hissed at him, but he threw it over the rock with a growl of "Beat it, Snake!"
Meanwhile, Arell had his own method of dealing with the ground troops. Smiling and sitting on the bed of his truck (fortunately the missile missed both by about three or four feet) he lit the fuse to what looked like a few of the sticks of TNT bundled together with tape. Heaving it at the ground troops, he waited the few scant seconds before . . .
BOOM!!!!!

Slowly, Caitlin turned her blurred gaze at Sarah. Even though her eyes wouldn't focus properly on the Apache girl, the mousy redhead could feel the gauntlets holding her, "Sarah... Somethin' not right... Why is the room spinning...?" As Sarah was holding Caitlin, she'd easily feel that the back of Kat's head was hot and wet....
Rachel felt Nat's foot connecting to her own jaw, as the blow spun her around. At the last possible second, the tall blondemoved just enough with the blow to lessen the effect and went with the momentum. As Rachel let go of Nat's wrist, she spun on one heel almost like a ballerina and launched a high circle kick toward the tall redhead's face... And if that didn't connect, Rachel would use her current momentum to pivot around again. On the real attack, the blonde martial artist bent her pivoting knee to activate a low leg sweep attempting to take her opponent off her feet.....

Echo One saw what happened to his wingman, after 'Hawkgirl's attack. Echo Two's hydrolic system went out, and he quickly and expertly made an emergency landing, sliding to a halt. Unfortunately, Arell's TNT lands too close to to Echo Two's craft....
BOOM!!!!!!
Echo One's anger immediately flared as he heard his wingman's brief but firey death over his comm link. The veteran pilot glared at the ground where Arell stood switching on his loud speakers, "You just bought the farm, Jackhole!!!!"
Quickly manuevering his Blackhawk around while keeping a wary eye on Kai, Echo One fired a full stream of 20 mm fire on Arell's location and launched two missles at the Cajun.

Threshold took to the skies to get a high view of the unfolding action. Mentally reaching out to passively pick up surface thought, the I.O. mentalist slightly chuckled at the resulting explosion, Well..... That's inventive... Let see how our girl plays with the combat drones...
No sooner had that thought went through Michael's head, six silvery headless robots, each 15 feet in height, flew inbound toward Red Cardinal. Two of the robots flying in on 'boot' jets, break off from the main formation on the right and the left to hover in place. The hovering pair aimed weapons in right arm and each fired a sonic cannon. At the supporting fire is commensed, the other four robots continued to close the distance to the aerial heroine.

Ivana turned toward Dr. Willowfield and quickly nodded toward the scientist, "Henry, go ahead an dazzle me with your brilliance, if you would." The raven haired beauty flashed an evil smile at her associate.

The first attack connected. Nat's vision swam black for a moment as Rachel's foot whacked her in the jawbone. She stumbled back a step, nearly losing her balance. She needed to get some distance in, in order to stop the world from spinning. Nathalia allowed herself to drop, feet flying into the air and thereby disengaging Rachel's follow up. She flipped, using a back handspring from eigth grade gymnastics to carry her a good five feet from the blonde. Her gaze flicked to Roxy, and then to Kat. Breathing hard, two things clicked. One, she shouldn't be fighting here even though it was a great release. Two, Kat was looking really out of it. "Okay, stop." she raised her hands into the air. The fight could wait. "Caitlin does not look too good." she nodded to the girl.

Kai was allowed the sonic waive to catch her wings and fling her back. There if she had stiffened her wings to try and not get blasted they would have been damaged in the process, no point to picking black feathers off the desert floor. When she flung back she tumbled to the ground, grabbing a few rocks and sliding to a hault on the ground, scratching up her hands. She dived into the ground, using her intangibility to give her an advantage in stealth. The ground amplified sound as it moved around her, her intangibly flying through the ground. She found Arell, Reaching through the ground grabbing his legs and pulling him intangibly deep into the ground, out of sight and away. Her breath, growing weak had to pull in another direction. The canyon, had many places to fly intangibly through, and the crafts could not follow. She ended up re-emerging very soon, about 30 seconds, 80 feet away toward Dundee.
"Anyone up for getting magical Super powers so you can help me out here?!"
She said in distress as she let go of Arell. "Hopeless, u-no, Batman, would not allow these thoughts. WE /WILL/ Make it out, need quick thinking, strategy. Something, there's always something right?" She thought, quickly trying to keep them moving.

Henry shivered at the smile and held out the bracer. "It's a power nullifier. Click it on the powered individual and it stops their powers completely. I still have to test what the strongest powers are that it currently can deactivate."
He then points to the bracer with an added note. "Also with a small alteration I can turn it into a power booster." He grinned.
Henry then placed the small robot prototype on her desk. "This is just and idea, the final version would be made out of the material called adamantium, mixed with another compound called vibranium. But that will take some extreme measures and time to obtain."

((Skuld, truck of explosives + alcohol + missiles = GOTCHA!! twisted ))
Arell dove out of the way just in time, only to be pulled into the ground with another crude bomb held together with tape. However, the effects of being shot, sparked the TNT left in the truck, plus the two missiles Echo one launched at him . . . which instantaneously VAPORIZED the truck in the oncoming explosion that would have made Michael Bay jealous.
BOOM!!!!!!!

"Remin' me t' ask you how de ******** you did dat, che'. Dat was awesome." he said, shaking the dirt off him. Meanwhile, Dundee was already on it, whipping up what looked like a magic spell.
"Kai? I'm a voodoo practitioner. No Superpowers needed." he said with a chuckle.
Arell looked at Dundee with a confused look. "I ain't gonna ask, but if you can make 'em ******** off I'll take back EV'RYTHING I said 'bout you." Arell growled, getting ready to light the TNT.
Dundee rolled his eyes. "Just put the explosive away, listen to Kai and actually GET ALONG!" he growled as he paused . . . then took the explosive from Arell and rubbed the potion over it.
"Di'nt you JUST tell me not t' use dat?" Arell growled as Dundee smirked.
"I know what I'm doing." he said and winked at Kai. "If I throw this, you two RUN. Savvy?" he asked.

As the truck evaporated from existance, Echo One kept flying in circles keeping a wary eye. He should have hit, but he saw 'Hawkgirl' swoop in just before the missile hits, and he saw that the combat drones seemed to be moving around in confusion, "Echo One to Base, no sign of survivors... But I don't think they're dead. Hawkgirl swooped in at the last moment. They're hiding somewhere close."
Threshold heard the chatter over his comm, but the blond mentalist already knew that the heroes survived -- he was mentally keeping tabs on them. He also already knew that this wasn't Hawkgirl.. but someone that the Summers were looking for. Bonus. He could use his powers to knock them out now, but that would kill them instantly as they would have become unphased under ground. No. Michael would simply wait until they resurfaced, then he would render them unconscious. I.O. needed information....

Arell looked up at the chopper from their hiding spot. "DAMN! I thought de truck woulda got 'em!" he growled as Dundee sighed.
"C.J.'s gonna KILL us if he finds out we're down a ride home." Dundee said as he looked at the chopper. Arell looked at Dundee, then back up at the chopper.
"Wrath of de crazy man is de LEAST of our worries right now." he growled, clearly upset that this was going on . . . and tempted to try to take down the helicopter.

Ivana continued to smile at Henry and draped an slender arm around the scientist's shoulder, "Henry, you always manage to amaze. How soon can we make a full production of these?"

While the heroes focused too much on Echo One, Threshold had waited long enough. The blond mentalist floated closer once he was sure that they were actually over ground and hit all three of them with a psionic attack to attempt to knock them out by overloading their brains with synapses with elctrical impulses.
