'That is soooo cool!' Kyou thought. 'I want to be an invader' he looked over at Ritsu. "This is going to be so much fun!" he whispered to him happily. "I wonder how the teams will be picked"

I don't think there are any music classes, though there could be special classes or soemthing. o_o
like.. stuff you sign up for. Its a pretty big elementry obviously XD Mine was small, though i've been by it recently and they've torn it down and built a new 3 story one o__o like 50 tmies biger than my old one.))
Yuki nodded to the instructions, before suddenlly freezing as a though hit him. 'What if someone bumps into me..what if a GIRL bumps into me?' He gulped, Ash would see him then.
See how "different" he was. How wierd he was.
Then hatori san would erase her memories of him...
He had only just met her but, still he didn't want that to happen. She was allready his friend. He took a deep breath, and tried to calm down.. he'd just make sure no one bumped into him.
Of course, last time it happend they were only playing tag. The girl tripped and.. well the rest was obvious. This time they'll be trying to get a belt off of him.
Yuki concentrated, still half heartedly listning to the instructions. By now only a few kids were asking questions. He tried to think of a way to prevent a transformation happening.. though he wasn't very sucessful. Only things like running away from the girls, and that would look rediculus. He could get out of it, his medical problems were allready on his file. He could easily be excused from PE every day, but he didn't want that.
He wanted to be normal. So he just stood there, trying to think of what to do.

Kyous 'condition' has seemed to slip him mind. He looked around at everyone else and he felt that he was indeed as normal as the rest of them. He felt that he belonged with them. He hadn't felt like he fit in with anyone in a long. long time. In fact he felt he never fit in with anyone before. When he was back at the Sohma house he knew he didnt belong there but now he felt he was just another kid amunsct other kid his own age. He brushed his orange hair out of his eyes happily getting ready to play the game amungst his peers.

It seemed as though many of the children were nervous...but Ash didn't notice that because she was too busy being nervous. It took so much concentration on her behalf to keep 'solid' enough to fit in with the kids without actually looking like a 'spook'...what if she started concentrating too much on the game that she forgot and ended up passing through someone?
With a gulp, she bit down on her lower lip, backing away as if trying to hide behind Yuki from this 'game'. The only games she had played at home were around people who already knew that she was a spirit child...
At times like this, it seemed as if 'normal' was too much to ask for.

((What? I'm ... oh dear... I've been voluntold again. *snerk* ^_^))
Mrs. Dominguez noticed that a lot of the newer children, the ones with the medical conditions from that adoption center seemed to be rather nervous about playing the game. She couldn't figure out why, but she sighed and tried to think of a way to accomadate them, without sucess.
"If no one else has any questions, I'd like you all to form a line, and count off by twos. That will split us up almost evenly, I think. The ones will go get flags, and the twos will be the defenders, for this game." She waited until the kids lined up, jockeying for position to be in the same groups as their friends, and then listened as they counted off.
Ritsu was worrying himself into a frenzy. He looked at Kyou in amazement. "Kyou-san, you're so brave. What if someone knocks into us? What if they get hurt? I don't want to have to keep someone from winning... They deserve to more than me..." Ritsu nibbled on his lip as everyone lined up, and squaked slightly as he was shoved out of the way to make room for a couple of other kids. He almost bumped into a girl to his right, who made a face, and said, "Hey, watch out dummies! Be more careful, you almost took out both me and him!" she paused, and then said. "What's your name, my name's Halley." She didn't even seem to notice Ritsu's nervousness, and smiled at him widely.
"I'm sorry to almost run into you, Halley-san, I'm so clumsy! Uhm.. I'm Ritsu..." She nodded at him with a serious expression on her face, looking like she was committing his name to memory.
Alida was the first one in the line, having darted over there as fast as possible, little batwings flapping delightedly behind her, one hand holding her hat so it didn't fall off. A couple of kids looked at her wings in fascination, and one red-haired freckled boy backed off a few feet, looking alarmed. She paid no attention to him, having dealt with him on the first days she had come to class. Andrew is going to have to get used to us at some point. I wonder where Halley is? She's going to want to be an invader, I bet. Or maybe not... either way, she'll want to win.
She frowned as she saw Ritsu get into line a few places down from her and some kids pushed in between him and Kyou. That's silly. Why would they do that?
Mrs. Dominguez nodded, and pointed at Alida, who smiled and held up one finger, her way of denoting that she was on the invader team. The next couple of kids also counted off, but Alida was already looking towards the flags, eager to play.
((I felt I should introduce a couple of the normal kids back into the RP. They aren't in the set-up post with the others, but they were included earlier. Feel free to RP them, if you want. Halley is accepting, loud, blunt, and worships her father, who is a businessman. "My father says..." is how she starts a lot of her sentences. Andrew is scared of catching something, and since the Kinder ostensibly have medical condtions, he stays as far away from them as possible. He's skinny and tall, and really doesn't like to be touched. "Are you sure that's sanitary?" is something he says a lot, about everything, from playground equipment, to lunch, to playing games.))

Yuki took a deep breath, reaching back to give a squeaze to Ash's hand when he noticed her fear.
He didn't know why she seemed as scared as she was.. maybe she was cursed like him? He wouldn't ask though. No reason to.
He moved to get into line, "Make sure theres one kid between us, so we'll be on the same team." he muttered to her, getting in line and watching a random kid come up in line next to him.
Somehow when ritsu had almost run into halley some other kids backed up, making sure not to run into eachother. A girl tripped, her hair was put in pigtails, round thick glasses on her freckled face fell off as she fell, and she was falling towards yuki.
Yuki paniced in that split second, he coul dhave caught her.. most people would have but instead he jumped out of the way in fear his heart pounding into his ears.
The girl landed with a loud thud, and soon was biting her lip and giving a like squeaking noise while trying not to cry. Yuki stared wide-eyed like death would have come if he had touched her. and it very well could have..
Mrs Domiguez had ran over, handing the girl her glasses and helping her up and to a seat nearby, making sure she was okay.
Yuki blinked, slowly moving back into line while some of the other kids that had noticed his fear of touching her were staring. a few girls muttering about him. He gulped and looked down, feeling guilty about her being hurt..
((Yea tis a good idea ^_^ thankee. *Makes er own* o__o I'm planning on having Yuki poof around ash sometime, but when there are less kids around *nod* << *plot**cackle*))

As Yuki spoke she nodded, giving his hand a little squeeze as well to show that she had understood as well as to offer a bit of reassurance. For some reason, her touch seemed colder. Funny...didn't most people's hands get hot or sweaty when they were nervous?
A girl had fallen. Was she hurt? Goodness...what would happen if she fell? Mother would hear about this school business...she wasn't really sure if she wanted to be here now...
Still biting on her lip she stepped away from Yuki, letting his hand go so that she could put a person between the two of them so they'd be on the same team. At least that would make things better. Then she could look to him for some sort of guidance should she need it. He seemed to know so much already...
All of those children muttering and whispering. Didn't they have anything else to do? Of course not...children talked. At least, most children did. She wished that she could talk...
((Plotting is fun. ^^ *has done some plotting of her own* Mwuahahaha ))

((I'm thinking a conversation between Alida and Ash would be fun. ^_^ Two mutes scribbling in a notebook. *chuckle* Should I just decide which teams we're on? Alida is an invader, I know that. Ritsu is on the opposite team of whatever Kyou is, and Yuki and Ash are on the same team. Halley is on the same team as Kyou. But other than that, I don't know. Someone pick a number durnit! ^_^))

So Yuki and Ash will be Defenders X3
Though i allways saw kyou as more agressive to Yuki even when he was a child. Poor yuki, haru and kyo both hate him o_o and then the others don't really care for him, kagura probably doesn't like him cuz she'd side with kyou o__O *babble*))

((I dunno. I think I'm going to mellow Kyou a bit over time. He is a very caring person by nature but he wasnt cared for as a child ((Thats everyones sap story)) but because hes leaving the Sohma house as a young child I think that if he had in the manga or anime he would have liked the rest of them better. Its going to be very graudual but I feel at the end of the anime Kyou does sort of care about Yuki enough to not hurt his when he is sick or feeling down. Anyway I'm finished my with my analisis and now to write my RP before I have to go to school for my Science, English and CSPE exam))
"Yes!" Kyou hissed rasing his fists in the air happily as the teacher told him he was an invader. Unfortinatly Ritsu was not on the same team as him which made him worry a bit. Not that he would show any worry. Looking worried showed weekness and he couldn't show weekness around hes peers especially Yuki. He wanted to be an invader though. He was less likely to chance that way. Or so he thought. It seemed that the rest of them were all defenders . Maybe he was wrong of course but once again it would show weekness to just go up and ask Yuki if it was safer to be on one or the other. He hated Yuki or so he said anyway. Inside if it came down to it all he didnt really hate him. He was confused and angered by him. Yuki was a people person unlike him. Kyou was alone in the line other then Ritsu who didnt really count because he wasnt a normal person. Yuki already had a best friend and this make Kyou dislike the boy but he swallowed this and ran over to the invader team grumpliy waiting to start playing the game. He hoped that he would fit in aswell as Yuki did. Maybe it wasn't hatred...maybe it was just jelously.

((I was thinking the same thing about Ritsu... since he isn't growing up in a house where everyone is ashamed of how he is, he'd probably eventually grow out of that extreme form of apolgizing. For the most part anyway.))
Alida trotted happily over to the bag of flags, and, being the concientious person she was, she started to hand out flags to people as they came over. She handed one to the orange-haired boy, Kyou, she reminded herself, and smiled brightly at him, because he was nice to her new brother Ritsu. She handed one to Halley, who grinned at her and went to work putting it on. She was reaching in for another flag when the whole bag was pulled out of her hands roughly.
She looked up, and saw the bully from the last class, sneering at her. "Stupid mute. Gimme that!" She blinked in surprise, but let it go. Everyone else had a flag anyway. She was unhappy he was in the invaders team, she didn't know what he might do to Ritsu...
Ritsu himself was standing worriedly inside the boundaries of the cones with the other children. "What am I supposed to do..." I'm not worthy to keep the other kids from taking them... I'm clumsy, weak... He stood there biting his lip, with no one to take his cue from.
Mrs. Dominguez was busily putting down the items inside the cones from another mesh bag. She dropped them randomly, and when the bag was emptied, she retreived two large hula hoops and set them down outside the boundaries. These were the locations the taken items would be put. Finally, she stood back and nodded her satisfaction. Looking around, she saw the that the flags had been given out, and got ready to start the game.

She heard the words "stupid mute" and her eyes went wide...almost furiously so...shifting from a pale blue color to a fierce, sapphire blue. It was at that moment that a darker side of Ash came to the surface of her mind...and she began plotting what she could do to that bully to keep him from bullying people. Perhaps turning him into a girl wasn't enough...maybe he should lose his voice as well...
And then, she saw the other children gathering on their sides of the gym...her look softening once more into the childish innocence that she usually held so dearly to. Still not quite sure that she understood the point of this game, she stayed close to Yuki, figuring that he'd know what was going on more than she did.

rimedragona Alida shrugged at his question, and followed him up to the teacher's desk. She noticed his uncomfortableness, and gently touched one of his hands with her own, offering to let him hold it if he wanted. Looks like a romance novel.... hm... She doesn't look like the same teacher that was here the first day... And in fact, this particular teacher was a substitute, as Mrs. Forch had come down with the flu, and was sick in bed. ((woo! Go Deus ex Machina! domokun )) (Im so sorry I was gone, my computer seems riddled with virus' and spy ware. *cries*) "Romance Novel?" He tilted his head to the side in confusion and leaned close looking at the people kissing on the cover. He sighed a bit and placed the hamster on the desk. "'s.. scuse me..." His words dried up though the moment that the teacher looked at him, and he forgot what he wanted to ask. He seemed to have forgot everything in that moment, nearly bringing tears to his pale eyes.

Kyou jumped up and down excitedly. He looked over to Ri. "If that bully tries anything on you I'm going to kill him" Kyou said confidently raising his fists in the air talking to Ritsu. Though he seemed like an uncaring person Kyou was very caring to his friends. He would never let anything happen to any of them. Even if it was someone he hated like Yuki. He wouldn't let anything ever happen to him. Only he was allowed to fight Yuki and if anyone triend to change that Kyou would have something to say about it.
((Oh go Arafel! I saw that you're going for the Yuki zodical cosplay. I hope you win. If I wasnt completely broke I would go for the Kyou one. *looks at her seal slippers and thinks* I can never give them away!))
