A very heavy sigh came from Marcus. Still picking on each other. Looking up at one of the trees, he proceded to climb a branch in a bid to try and see anything, sadly- nothing in the distance as far as he could tell. "While it's great to pick out names, I'm a little bugged with out last mission. From the reaction of Julie, trainees were not supposed to be there, so why exactly, had Caelius taken us there? And for a monster that was probably close to death to be there- Does anyone know about just exactly what were were cleaning up aside from the dead?"
He also rolled his eyes. So much drama.

"The monsters leftovers?" Ceres managed to pipe up at the 'what else were we cleaning' question. Hearing the questions from the other —She looked at his coat design briefly— moon hunter was what broke her silence. Up until this point she was content only listening, being wary of approaching people in general. Just a little peeve of hers, she was too used to being alone in all of this crazyness so it would take the huntress time to adjust to being surrounded by so many with a familiar goal. "Maybe it is just his idea of some sick joke." Send the trainee's, get a few killed. Maybe he got his jollies by the rising death count. What did they say? One out of two survived? Around that? Something she at first took as a joke was now slowly becoming more believable.

"Object lesson, maybe," Jordan said, thinking out loud. "Reality slap in the face. It's hard to believe in those things until you see them." He shrugged one shoulder. "We got dumped into a zombie horde to have that point made. Maybe Caelius didn't expect the monster to still be there; the bodies were gruesome enough on their own."

"Hey, Leon," she whispered back, waving. Another older hunter- hurray! He seemed decent enough, even if he was asking weird questions...
"Oh noooo, nothing like that. I'd put the moves on you, though, baby." Her voice was somewhat awkward- as if she was trying a flirty drawl, but it came out more of just deadpan.
"Y...yeah, I'm just never going to get this guy thing working..." She wrung her hands, worriedly. "Maybe I'll pretend I can't talk! I can.. like.. gesture... right? But Jude did say we weren't expected to talk to them... oh yeah!"
"TALK TO THE GUN. How's that sound?"
... It sounded like someone very, very familiar, yelling loudly, actually.
"Ahh-- it was nice to meet you, Leon, but excuse me!" Tugging Jude along with her, she searched for the source of Otto's yell, and found it.
"OTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", she cried, launching herself at a tall male Nguruvilu, wrapping her arms around him in a huge hug. "PUPPY, I missed you- and have you seen Eva????"

Deryk nodded to Candace, though he still wanted to see how he looked. There were no convenient water puddles nearby this time around for him to look into. But he didn't think about it for too long because he caught Jordan's comment towards Otto.
Laughing out at the image of that, he shook his head.
It was slightly tempting. To say in the least.
He then looked over at Marcus, as he asked a few questions regarding the previous big mission. The trainee frowned at the memory of it. He thought about it a bit, but didn't really have any input on the matter.

"I like Miguel!" Cass pipped in after a few suggestions, smiling. Okay, it looked like they were named at the very least, the Chupacabra-golem smiling brightly, though she did give a slightly antsy look around, expecting Caelius to come flying out of nowhere at any time.
He'd show up, looking like the human he always was (she wanted a custom golem too...). Seriously.
"So I think I'll go with that one. Though I'm going to feel kinda dumb if we don't talk to anybody or need these names after the fact." she noted with a sigh.
She looked up towards the familiar voice of Marcus up one of the trees, sighing a bit as she mulled over his question. "To be honest, Caelius seems to be the kind who likes to give the tough-love lessons. Just..based on my experience. Either you get hit by the train and die, or you live and come out better for it.
But...that's all I could really say about it."

Unfortunately playtime was over.
The air literally shook, and then a burst of red: Caelius carrying something humanoid, though it didn't take a far stretch of the imagine to figure out what it was.
And before he could say or utter anything, the others blinked into view, as if they had been there all along. Several of them, monstrosities, tails, claws, fangs, wings, none of them wearing the prescribed red cloaks.
Everything else melted into chaos. YOU ARE BEING ATTACKED ROUND 1 AMITYVILLE STUDENTS:- The entire trap was closer than you thought! You are surrounded by more figures in cloaked red, they look like your kind, but why are they attacking you - in fact why did that person kidnap Shehk in the first place?
- You can choose this turn to either attack a cloaked figure OR save someone from a trap. Please list your option at the bottom of your post in OOC notes so we know (see ref below). Simply quote anyone (Hunter) already existing in this thread to attack them.
- Only one action per round please, unlimited rp reactions
- To attack a cloaked figure QUOTE the person you are attacking and then roll the dice. Note the damage done.
- To save someone from a trap roll a 6-sided dice. If even, you have removed them from the trap.
- If your character has been quoted and trapped by a red cloaked figure, your character is disabled for that turn and all turns afterward until someone frees them from the net.
- If you are quoted and freed and have not used your attack, you may then do so.
- HOWEVER YOUR Fear attacks are disabled for this round thanks to the effects of the barrier

- Roll a 6-sided dice and target a player. If the attack is odd you successfully trap them, if even you miss. You are shooting a handgun that shoots out a trapping net
- You CANNOT attack in a golem, and you also cannot 'abort' the golem unless it is destroyed in which case you forcefully wake up from the pod. If that has happened to your trainee ie your golem "dies", simply post back here when you have a chance until the others arrive back. Your golem will simply crumble to dirt upon being defeated, it is mostly painless.
- If you are targeting a horsemen (Eris, Cymbelline, Aisa, or Invictus), roll a 12-sided dice. If 2 or lower, your roll succeeds in capturing them, otherwise it misses
- You can only target and attempt to trap ONE CHARACTER PER ROUND, please make sure to quote your target and mention if it is a success or failure!

Eva staggered backwards as someone flung themselves at her, a hand flying up to steady the...the...she wasn't really sure what they were supposed to be, but it didn't matter. A grin lit up her face. She knew that voice.
There was a pause as she processed the name that Reine had yelled, along with her question. If possible, her grin grew even wider and then she cleared her throat. "I'm right here, Reine--I got stuck in a guy's body too! As for Otto..." She drew back, biting her lip in an attempt to keep back her laughter. "He's...he's right over there."
Slowly, she lifted a hand and pointed to the busty succubus.
And then, curiously, Eva realized that they were no longer alone. Caelius was back, and it looked like he had brought company with him. A lot of company, and it didn't take a genius to see that unlike the golems, these things were the real deal.

"EVA------------oh snap!" Clinging to her friend, Reine stumbled backwards when Caelius reappeared, falling onto what seemed like a cushion and pulling Eva down with her.
Why were there cushions around..? Maybe someone had left something on the forest floor... But there was no time for that. The boss had given his orders, and Reine noted with glee that she'd been there this time to catch everything he'd said. Capture them! Fine by her!
Standing up, she saluted him, then turned back to see she'd fallen onto an extremely unhappy-looking female, with a remarkable chest.
That explained the cushions... and then Eva's words made sense.
Looking incredulously at the small female, Reine's jaw dropped. "Otto?!"

Otto was on the ground with a large and stupid hunter in his breasts. With a groan, he sat up, then got to his feet. "YEAH IT'S ME WHAT OF IT?!"
The young man turned his eyes to the approaching students, snarling and pulling out his trap gun. "I'll kill you later. Time to trap some freaks."

Jove was hot on the heels of the red figure, when suddenly everything shifted. And he was no longer where he thought he was... It had been a trap after all! The little pup snarled at the surrounding figures, and lost no time going after the perceived threat. Tiny and fluffy could easily be overlooked as he bared his needle-like fangs, and leaped towards the nearest red-cloaked human. He snapped his teeth at them but caught only red fabric. (( Total HP value: 40/40 Total damage done: 0 Your target: Kaiyumi Jove is trying to attack! XD Attacking!

Suddenly his worst nightmares were relived. He knew it was a trap. He knew it. But he came here anyway. He felt heavy, useless and drained. It was not just his mood. His Fear was weakened near the hooded one. And there were dozens more. Not students. They were hunters in disguise, like the Horsemen said. "s**t.." Eva yelped when she was pulled down, but fortunately, something distinctly squishy managed to break their fall. And that thing was...oh. "Well, that's one thing they're good for," She managed as she scrambled back to her feet. The trapping device was already in her hands, and she turned to flash a grin--was that a slightly nervous look in her eyes all of a sudden?--at Reine. "He looks good, doesn't he?"
But now...now definitely wasn't the time to be dwelling on that. Caelius had lured the monsters here, and their task had become clear. Now, the question was...
Who to go for first?

The instant that the forest surrounded him, the phone was instantly forgotten. Herryk frantically looked for the three that he wanted most to try and protect -- Freya, Jove and Mort. Okay, really Herryk felt the overwhelming urge to watch over Jove, at least until Mort or Freya needed his help. Herryk moved to stand next to the fluffpup, stumbling over his feet. He gave a sheepish look to Jove. Well, maybe he could be moral support, at least? (( Total HP value: 30/30 Total damage done: None. Your target: Eva CURRENT STATUS: ATTACKING))
