Claire tilted her head but only sighed. "Just... don't tell Vince, alright?..." she asked as she glanced around at the new location. "Woah... So... 1sts come here a lot?... Does that mean Genesis and Angeal, Vince and Nina come here too?... Why's this place so special?..."

"Because this is where we used to "cause trouble." Vince and Genesis, used to babble on all the time about the meaning of LOVELESS. Your brother might not have said anything, but he and Genesis were really close because of that. I wouldn't be surprised if Vince would talk to you about it either." Sephiroth chuckled.

"Onii-chan? Talk about LOVELESS?..." Claire asked, keeping her head tilted with a confused and somewhat surprised look. She took out the book again and ran her fingers over the cover in thought. Only a small smile came to her lips. "Well I guess I'll talk about that later with him."

Claire nodded slightly and gave Sephiroth a quick but tight hug. "Alright. Bye bye Sephy~" she said brightly before skipping off. When she got back to her home, she saw Nina and Vince still asleep on the couch. She only giggled softly, grabbing a blanket from Vince's bed and laying it over them before going to her own bed. She read LOVELESS for a bit before falling asleep.

~Time Skip: 7 Days~
An explosion ripped through the Shin-Ra building, shaking it's very foundation. The Shin-Ra infantry were locked in heated combat with forces dressed in crimson, resembling Genesis's own jacket. Vince, being in his house with Claire and Nina, grabbed Tsurugi immediately, and dashed out of the house. Sephiroth met Vince, who nodded, looking back into the house at Nina. "Take care of Claire!" he called, running off after Sephiroth.

Nina gritted her teeth and drew her blade Shugotenshi. She needed to go out there and help with the fight, but Claire needed her too. Claire bit her lip and grabbed something from her room, returning to Nina's side with what looked like a short sword on her back, her rabbit Mr. Fluffy-Feet tucked in the strap and the book LOVELESS in her pocket. Nina didn't take notice of the sword while she was keeping an eye out in the halls for the enemy forces.

Gunfire came from out in the halls. Shin-Ra troops were advancing backwards, facing down the hall. As the last of the troops were about to pass the door, he got hit, falling into the room. The Genesis troops just ran past the room, chasing the other Shin-Ra troops.

Nina tightened her grip on the sword, only to see that the person who fell in from the halls was a Shin-Ra troop. The second the Genesis troops ran passed the room, Nina stepped out into the hall and fired a powerful Thundaga attack from behind. Claire blinked twice, and even with the mask on, she seemed to recognize the Shin-Ra troop and knelt by him. "Cloud?" she asked, tilting her head.

Cloud blinked, looking up before taking the mask off with his uninjured arm. "Claire? Nina? What are you two doing in here?"

"I live here," Claire said, keeping her head tilted. "Families of those in SOLDIER have special homes set aside in the building for them." She paused when she saw Cloud's injured arm. Biting her lip, she used Cure on him to heal his injury. "And Vince is being thick-headed again, running off with Sephiroth. He knows that I should be out there in the fight too," Nina said with a small grumble, standing by the doorway and keeping an eye out for any more Genesis troops running by.

Cloud nodded a thanks to Claire before looking at Nina. "It's no surprise, Vince being who he is, and what you are to him." he said before shifting, grabbing the rifle facing the doorway.

"He needs to remember that I'm a 1st Class just like he is. I need to be out there in the fight..." Nina said, gritting her teeth. "Then don't just stand her and look out after me. I can take care of myself. Besides, Cloud is here too. We'll be alright," Claire pipped in with a nod. Nina blinked twice before turning back at Claire. "But I can't just leave you..."
