Oh, well of course there weren't unit numbers. Stupid, tricky spiky man... Her stomach felt like it had suddenly become weightless as it was revealed that their cover was blown. Nyx's kick to the man was appreciated with a lip twitch but the smirk died before it could form. Galactic wanted to rewrite the world, they had to stop them and now they had the obstacle of combat to get through before they could even try to leave... Yes. Yes, this classified as dire and desperate. One pokeball; Lasi. Second pokeball; Palu... She hesitated over the third, but then released the little Spinarak. "Lasi, supersonic everybody you can get near on the right of us... Palu, sand-attack on the opposite side..." That would be no real problem, now to see if letting Neph out was the good idea she'd hoped. "Neph, string shot- we need them restrained, but," the spider seemed to look suspicious for a moment "don't go easy. For once I will not mind if you use your other attacks as nastily as you want." For the first time since getting her, Tambrey was sure she saw the angry little bug pokemon look happy. It was a creepy sight, but she was pleased to see that, at least, the first attacks coming from Neph were, indeed, the string shot that she'd asked for. These were directed straight ahead for the Galactics that had been inspecting the Dunsparce too.

((Whole lot of backdating - from page 9. Sorry guys.))
The 23-year-old laughed as 1337 panicked, now curious if his reaction meant the agent was homophobic and if he might possibly be able to use such a fear against him in the future. Of course, he himself was pansexual and thus cared nothing about their close proximity, so that was his advantage. It seemed 1337 was rather more childish and short-attention-spanned than he had expected.
Nevertheless, his new fascination with this unusual fact caused him to turn to Faleen with barely-contained amusement. "...'Fishy-cakes'?" he repeated as he hopped off the agent that was so eager to be rid of him. "What the hell kind of nickname is that? How'd you get it?" It seemed world destruction, doom, and gloom was the last thing on Nakura's mind after all. His little dislay of panic had all been an act - perhaps to manifest the feeling he felt should have consumed them all.
"From what I've heard of Deimos, I doubt there'll be sex involved in the new world creation, 'Leet-chan'," Izaya called at the retreating man's back. "Apart from the whole 'building incredible robot devices and technology' thing, he sounds like he has the mentality of a 6-year-old." Not that he thought the agent would hear, much less reply. With a sigh, he turned back to his partner, who had paused to reassure him in a quiet voice.
"If you're referring to a pokemon Team Rocket has obtained, wouldn't that just make it all the more easy?" he asked, suddenly serious once more. "After all, from what that fine scarred fellow said earlier, it sounds like they already stole one pokemon from us. What's to keep them from stealing another?"
Sure, they might have taken extra precautions since then, but so might have Team Galactic. "It's only a matter of time before they know what we know what they know," he answered quickly. "If you ask me, I think the Legendaries still out there in the wild are the safest ones, seeing as they have yet to be caught by anyone."
It was hard to say just how many free legendaries there still were, though. Izaya certainly had no clue; his focus was on humans. Besides, Team Rocket hadn't been able to pull all that legendary clone DNA from out of thin air, had they? There had to be very few left indeed. It was important not to feel so self-assured so soon. Still, he appreciated Faleen's genuine attempt to comfort him.
He cast her a wan smile. "I'm not really worried, though. I know what this team can do, and if we want to destroy something, I've no doubt we're capable." After all, it was probably going to be a heck of a lot easier to destroy 'The Machine' than it had been for Deimos and his team to build it in the first place. He hurried with his partner to catch up to their group, which was swiftly reuniting with the second group in the brig.

When they arrived, the first scene Nakura was treated to witness was the unfamiliar agent from earlier and Nyx sharing a heart-warming kiss - in the midst of a room that looked as if had survived a mini war. As if to add to the atmosphere, Inigo's pink Whimsicott was still latched to a Galactic's head, seeming determined to pull out all his hair. The Rocket Nakura picked his way across the Galactic grunt covered in goo by the door, careful not to get his shoes ruined. Just what was that stuff, anyway? It smelled faintly of grapes.
Ah...right. Probably best to stay clear of that, then. Maybe Nyx's Newton had thrown up at some previous kiss he'd missed. He'd have to find out what the agent's name was later, along with the one who was so buddy-buddy with Hayes. Damn, this raid was getting to be more informative about his own teammates than any Galactics themselves. He playfully stuck his tounge out at Luxury as he noticed Tambery helping her up from a slip, winking at the two girls.
Soon enough, when they had all collected themselves and accounted for everyone, Nyx confirmed the scarred man's statement and addressed their need to go to Johto. Really? Now? Not that Izaya didn't mind a bit of travelling, but this all seemed a bit more than he'd bargined for. It was a lot for just one mission. Oh, well. He considered calling it quits, but there was no turning back now - especially not with his recruiter and his partner on this raid. He'd already let them down enough times, and he hated being indebted to people.
In the meantime, while Nakura had been contemplating his options, the others were discussing ways to get to Johto. The scarred agent seemed to have a decent idea. The grunt kept an ear out for the conversation. He himself was not particularly trusting of pokemon, especially as a means of transportation, and from the look on Faleen's face, it seemed she wasn't either. She seemed to have the same idea as Hayes' buddy with the bo staff. It was a good plan; plus it was far less likely that the Galactics would shoot one of their own vehicles out of the sky from their base in Johto - even if its appearance was unexpected.
Nyx's boyfriend wanted to have a roadtrip. Izaya wasn't fond of the idea, but he was a good little grunt, so he kept his mouth shut against the word of an agent. Nyx's agent, at that. Yes, he knew they were all asked for their opinions, but when his mouth opened, it tended to elaborate on a lot more than was desired. They didn't have time for that and he was still new to this whole raid thing - particularly one of such high importance.
The tracking signal was a good point brought up on the agent's part, but Izaya doubted they would be able to do anything about it by the time the realized the vehicle was stolen. Unless there was auto-pilot. What if it had been sent to get an emergency message to Deimos, who, as Nakura understood it, was in Johto himself at this time? Plus, it was only a matter of hours - maybe even minutes - before they were discovered as imposters aboard the flying base now that the brig had been infiltrated. They had to get out, and soon.

Faleen quickly addressed their worries by bringing up the point that the Rocket hackers could probably take care of any tracking devices and any other technical obstacles that came their way. Kunai seemed to agree, and so the plan was made. Once again, the scarred man was the first to leap into action. He seemed to be having quite a good time of it, too. Pumped up and full of energy. Izaya smiled as he watched while following obediantly after his partner. At least someone in this group seemed to know how to have fun. Without making everyone else suffer, of course.
Nakura's partner was pretty full of adrenaline herself. He did not ignore her ready stride as the continued further on and grinned as she blinked at Hayes' partner. "Oh, come on. You know you want to do that too," he giggled at her. "I've heard it said that you feel the most alive right before you die." He paused. "Not that we're going to. I also hear close calls work just as well."
Then he heard Aila hinting at the scarred agent with his staff that he was probably better off not shouting. What a party pooper. As usual. What was it with these Rocket girls and their strict sense of mature seriousness that seemed to bar them from any sort of fun? If only they were more like Agent Nyx!
Just then, another grunt spoke up. Another face Izaya was unfamiliar with; this one female with bright blue eyes. He'd remembered them before they'd started dressing in disguises. Mental note to self - obtain a manifest list of all the names of Rockets on this raid once they got back to base. What was she talking about now? Ah, yes. Nyx. Aila offered a solution to the issue. Luxury offered her wig. And 1337 offered to drive. No, thank you. He probably just wanted to see who he could make lose their lunch, besides Newton.
Nyx suggested to Aila to keep the ghosts out and invisible. He wasn't sure if she had just been speaking to Aila, but the grunt thought it was a good idea nevertheless. Nakura retrieved the dusk ball hidden on him and released Celty. "Ever tried going invisible?" he asked her with a smile, at which the Spiritomb looked at him curiously before proceeding to disappear.
"That's a good girl," he complimented her. Until he noticed her Odd Keystone. It continued to hover in mid-air. "...Maybe I should hold that for you. Just for now." And at least he knew she couldn't wander off too far with her stone in hand. He took the keystone and attempted to discreetly hold it behind his back.
Oh, Kunai's orders were to - well, Izaya's hands were full now, but he was sure Nyx had more than enough other Rockets to 'restrain' her. It would be amusing to watch this little act play out. He couldn't say he'd been surprised that Scarface was the first to volunteer, though. He seemed to share Shizuo's impatience, lack of sensibility, and desire to use brawn to get things done, but his use of the acronym 'FUBAR' caused Izaya to giggle. At least stupid Shizuo wouldn't have been clever enough to use that, or even know what it meant.
Nyx's boyfriend was second to volunteer. Izaya felt he should have seen that one coming too. Not just because the man was obviously involved with the short scientist, but because he also seemed to have a pretty good set of muscles himself. Another ghost-type was dismissed into intangibility, making Izaya only slightly more wary. He didn't like the mischief makers where he couldn't see them, but he supposed if they were well-behaved enough to be trusted by the agents, that would have to do.
The glint of Kunai's blade caught Izaya's eye and he grinned. His own switchblade was still on his person, though he'd had no need to bring it out yet. Still, it was nice knowing it was there and that he wasn't the only one experienced with sharp weapons in the group. He wondered, maybe, if she liked 1337. The two seemed to get along like a married couple. Scratch that. More like mother and prepubescent teenager.

Soon enough, they were back in the hangar. Galactics galore were hurrying about, surounding the Dunsparce where'd they'd left it. This did not bode well for their team. One Galactic in particular stood out among the others - or rather, his voice did. It was very distinct and did not at all sound like the voice of a pleasant man. Deimos...? No, it couldn't be. He was in Johto, wasn't he? But then who was this fellow? Some underling, evidently, from the way the other Galactic woman was talking about a commander playing racquetball with his face. ...A very tall and injured underling. One could only imagine what his commander looked like.
Though the Galactic man may have been a glutton for punishment from his apperances, Izaya could tell immediately that this fellow was not stupid. The way his red eyes narrowed at Nyx...ahhh, they were in trouble now. Worse yet Nyx was replying to him. Was a prisoner supposed to reply to an enemy question about her own imprisonment? Oh, they were doomed. Their cover was so blown.
Nakura did not at all like the anger that burned in the man's eyes. He looked like a guy who had taken one too many beatings and not had enough of a chance to take out his own rage on anything - or anyone - else. Definately dangerous; more dangerous than his appearance suggested, and with a determined purpose. He almost reminded Izaya of himself, and this man was not about to be fooled by their little show. It took a deciever to know a deciever to know when he was being decieved...in this case, by a bunch of Rockets in Galactic uniforms. Still, Izaya had to play along with the rest of the Rockets for as long as they felt they should hold their ground. Maybe one of the Elites had an idea.
Faleen replied to the question about the unit numbers, partly using 1337's name. Nakura was beginning to suspect that Galactic's didn't have unit numbers. He'd seen this trap far too many times; it was one of the oldest in the books. The whole team seemed to be holding their breath while waiting for the lanky, injured man's response. Now would have probably been a good time to have one of their invisible ghosts hypnotize him. Maybe then they could pretend he had collapsed out of fatigue of his wounds or something, and -
Well, so much for that idea. Thanks for the official declaration, Elite Agent Kunai. I needed that.
Tossing the keystone he had been previously holding into the air so that it levitated by itself, Izaya used his newly-freed hands to whip out his every-handy switchblade.

Izaya wasn't the sort of man to say 'I told you so'...well, actually, he was. But as he had been a good grunt for once, leaving the question to the higher-ups to deal with, he hadn't said anything. Now he was starting to wish he had; at the very least to have seen the look on the lanky man's face when he had beat him at his own game.
Too late for that now, though. All hell had broken loose around them and all the Rockets were releasing their pokemon. Mentally, Izaya was amazed at the numbers of pokemon his fellow teammates were commanding at one time. He was glad he only just had three to deal with at the moment, though even those were a nusicance. He hoped they would behave now, when he actually needed them to.
"Celty, use Ominous Wind on all the Galactics in sight," he instructed as he reached for his remaining pokeballs - both of them Repeat Balls. "Don't worry, they'll be fine," he groaned when she gave him a concerned look. Just what he needed. A Spiritomb with concern for others, including enemies. "Just get them!"
While the inexperienced, distracted grunt had been busy trying to reassure his pokemon, a Galactic came across his side and raked him with something that looked suspiciously like a crobar. It couldn't have been something so unsophisticated, though; not in the Galactic's hangar. Everything was so high tech here, and he'd been attacked with that? It was almost insulting.
"Really?" Izaya snapped as his parkour skills and quick reflexes came into play. The tool grazed his uniform, ripping the cloth and cutting the skin beneath. Crimson streaks began to stain the area. "You couldn't have picked something better? Honestly, you people rely way too much on your pokemon."
Speaking of which...when he'd been grazed, Grunt Nakura had dropped his pair of repeat balls, releasing the twin Purrloin inside. The girls, realizing their team was under attack, quickly sprang into action. Ignoring Izaya (because they could have cared less about their individual trainer), the twin sisters darted over to the blonde lady that had been in charge of the Dunsparce repair. She looked important. Both girls, upon exchanging a glance, decided to use Pursuit. If the woman ran from them, all the better to chase her. Finally, a chance to wreck as much havoc as possible! Their first real job as Rocket pokemon! It was the stuff of dreams.
While Izaya fought back against his own attacker, leaping onto whatever closest foot and handholds he could grab, Celty quickly realized that now was not the time to hold back. She concentrated on an Ominous Wind, making sure this time to try to aim away from Izaya and their fellow Rocket members. At the same time, Izaya did a front flip off of a nearby vehicle after having gained a height advantage. He had his switchblade out and ready, aiming to stab the Galactic that had caught him in the side. He knew the injury would slow him, but he wasn't about to let the other grunt get away with it without returning the favor. Time to cut things.

Galactics don't have unit numbers.
Oh. s**t.
Sure enough, in the next seconds the person who got in their way had a swift kick in the shin and Kunai was shouting what the kick had made known. Cover blown, they were all screwed.
Well, about as screwed as a group of kick a** Rockets could be. As if the previous battle wasn't any indication, they were all quite capable of taking these guys. Granted, they were now in a garage filled with all sorts of machinery and a lot more Galactics, but this time the gang was all together and ready to rock. Luxury almost grinned. She was proud to be a part of this, proud to fight by her fellow men and women, proud to have the pokemon that she released from their balls.
"Confuse Ray!" Was ordered to Nova, and with a nod at Agent Panther's Shadow she set her aim to the left.
"Chora, Assist!" With a cute little squeak the Purrloin darted into the fray, picking up on Nova's Faint Attack and looking for shinies to steal in the process.
"Nioshii..." The grunt ginned at the large dog. "Fight." With a grin back, Nioshii let out a massive Roar, and lept out into the midst of it all with his Flamethrower attack.
One more thing...
"Trae, keep close to Nova, Ember when you can, but keep fire attacks off of her." The Flareon nodded and stuck right on Nova's heels. Trae may not be a good fighter yet, but with Nova still injured from the battle earlier and the bite from obtaining Nioshii she needed some back up.

As much as everyone seemed to be enjoying leaping headfirst into a fight with the rival team, Hayes had other priorities. "Nyx!" he shouted, trying to get the fluffy-haired Rocket's attention in the chaos of the battle. "Which jet is fastest?"

"I don't know!" Nyx responded to Hayes and Aulus, "Probably not one of the helicopters. The only thing I've been in crashed when Star and Tethys tried to kill me!" The cat was out of the bag, not that the bag was tied tightly. Anyone who could overhear would.

OOC: There are 20 Galactics participating in this battle. They will be identified with numbers 1-19 (Star's special and gets a name instead of a number) and split up evenly between staff members. Tinn is 1-5, Sao is 6-10, Lizzy is 11-15 and Dante is 16-20.
Galactic 1 is the blond woman who was standing beside the Dunsparce. Galactics 16-19 are the crew that were working on the Dunsparce. All the other Galactics are randomly scattered around the room.
Please designate which Galactic you're targeting in bold with each post. Each time I post I will include a list of remaining Galactics at the end of my post. Good luck!
- - -
Star's eyes widened at the abrupt volley of attacks launched his way. He grave a high-pitched yelp and scrambled backward, narrowly dodging any ill effects from Uta's very loud advance. His escape was delayed slightly as Paul's stringshot snagged part of his coat. He managed to pull free, but not before Revenant snatched the pokeball from his hand with telekenisis. He gave a sharp gasp and closed his hand into a fist. "Scream!!"
The pokemon inside the ball seemed to hear the shout because the ball burst open in a blaze of red light. A white, gray and red pidgeot exploded out, wings fanning wide. Without hesitation, he snatched his ball back from Revenant. This was an instant before Celeste's wing attack was launched. Scream received the full force of the attack. His red eyes narrowed and his feathers slicked back as he fixed his gaze on the other pidgeot. "PIIIIIDGEOT!!" He shrieked before launching after her and retaliating with a powerful air slash.
Star used Scream's arrival as cover to scramble away from the Rockets. He had no interest in being right in the middle of the fray. As he scurried out of range he saw a passing Galactic pulling out his communicator, "No!" He shouted. Other nearby Galactics glanced at him. "We'll take them ourselves! We're not sharing the glory of this victory with anyone else."
The Galactics looked uncertain, but holstered their communicators.
Galactic 16 put his back to the Dunsprace just in time to catch Shadow's Confuse Ray in the face. This led him to drop the large wrench in his hand on his foot with a loud cry.
Galactic 17 was a little faster on the uptake than his friend and was already pulling a pokeball out when the commotion started. He summoned a servine just as Shade launched his attack. The grass type took the Dark Pulse for his master. It was tossed back into the hull of the Dunsparce, but recovered quickly and retaliated with a leaf tornado.
Galactic 18 was at the front of the Dunsparce and, unfortunately, was the first to get a faceful of Char's smokescreen, which soon overtook the entire front of the vehicle in a thick dark cloud. A red flash from somewhere in the cloud suggested he'd summoned a pokemon, though it wasn't visible yet.
Galactic 19 was having none of this. He was an engineer, not a fighter. Without a word he turned and ran inside the Dunsparce.
- - -
"What-" The blonde Galactic who'd been yelling at Star found herself accosted by a pair of twin Purrloin, and she ran - until she came up against a work bench. She grabbed a long-handled wrench off it and swung it at the dark cats. "Get away!" "Weavi-" Galactic 1's command was lost in a fit of couching from Layla's Sand Attack. "*cough* *cough* *cough* Scree-*cough* *cough* *cough*" Their Pokemon stared at them for a minute, then let out a piercing Screech at Sierra's Eevee on the basis that some action was better than no action. "Weaaaavile!"
Galactic 3 was quick on his feet. "Blitzle!" he shouted, releasing a black and white striped Pokemon bearing a vague resemblance to a horse. "Thunder Wave!" The Blitzle let out a whinny and reared up, absorbing Nuu's Thunder Wave with its Lightningrod ability, then fired the attack back at the Flying type. As long as it was on the field, the electrified Pokemon would render all electric attacks null.
"Gaaug-mpph!" Galactic 2 was the unfortunate recipient of a Whimsicott to the face, and Bonnie just seemed to keep on giving, and giving and giving. As the grunt clawed at the furious little grass-type, she staggered into Galactic 4, who yelped as they hit the ground. The upside was that Khalon's Confuse Ray shot over his head and missed.
"Urrgh.. Granbull, Kricketune!" the grunt shouted from somewhere on the floor, releasing the named Pokemon. "Thunder Fang and X-Scissor that Umbreon, go!" The pair high-fived and came at Khalon from both sides in a practiced flanking maneuver.
- - -
Galactic 6 Aila's aggron was met in battle by a large nidorino, who paled in size to the steel type, but not in moxie. The purple pokemon was knocked back, while his grunt dove out of the way of the oncoming charge. The poison type got back to its feet and reared back on its front legs with a double kick attack.
Galactic 7 Unfortunetely for the galactic who found himself face to face with rows of sharp nasty teeth, the only pokemon he had was a fire type, and while he was able to send it out, the time it took to call the pokemon out costed the man a nice bite out of his leg. Without the instruction of its trainer, the puppy pokemon coughed up a smog at the Sharpedo.
Galactic 8 Lasi's supersonic met with a rather dopey looking wooper, and it was hard to tell if the pokemon was confused by the attack or just generally confused. While the golbat was attacking, the grunt sent out a second pokemon, a cacnea, and ordered it to use pin missile at the golbat.
Galactic 9 When the sandy haze from Palu's sand attack cleared, there was a rather large white shaggy Abomasnow standing next to a cowering galactic grunt. The pokemon reared back its fist, which was glistening with frost from an icy punch, and aimed it at the pidgeotto.
Galactic 10 For the moment, Celty's ominous wind left one of the grunts reeling, trying to overcome the horrible stench of the attack. It wasn't working so well, and it at least seemed to keep the man from sending out a pokemon.
- - -
Galactic 11
He definitely was not prepared for there to be intruders! Rashly he had grabbed for something, anything nearby, and soon enough found a suitable weapon at hand. Which the Galactic then promptly swung at the closest intruder. Of course, the guy's (Izaya) response seemed to remind him that there was another option. "You want a Pokemon? Okay, here's a Pokemon!" With that, he chucked out a pokeball, releasing what seemed like a relatively harmless Bidoof. Of course, it didn't really help any when all of a sudden the intruder rushed him and proceeded to slice into his side. With a groan, the Galactic let out one word. "Owwww..."
Galactic 12
This Galactic girl did not seem to have a very formidable opponent for the strange green diamond-marked Umbreon (Luxury's Nova). She also had a Bidoof, which wriggled its nose in annoyance at the very sudden attack. However, soon enough it was no longer annoyed. In fact, Bidoof seemed quite content with trying to move forward. Instead, it just began to move in a circle. The Galactic shouted at her Pokemon "HEY, STOP THAT AND USE HYPER FANG!" The Bidoof wriggled its nose again and then lashed out with its buck teeth.
Galactic 13
Okay, what was with the Bidoofs? Seriously?! The Purrloin that had borrowed a move from a fellow teammate (Luxury's Chora) found itself hitting a rather rolly polly plump mouse Pokemon, who literally rolled backwards a few times and found itself hit up against one of the machines in the hangar. The Galactic that owned this Bidoof called out "ROLL OUT!" The Pokemon seemed rather sturdy, popping back to its feet before it began to roll itself towards its opponent.
Galactic 14
A green and white Arcanine (Luxury's Nioshii) had made its presence well known. The Pokemon the Galactic selected (yet another Bidoof) let out a little yelp of sorts before suddenly popping back into its Pokeball. The Galactic wasn't so pleased. "Think you're so clever? Fine, I have more than one Pokemon!" With that he threw another Pokeball out to reveal a Bibarel. At least it wasn't a Bidoof...
Galactic 15
It was not his lucky day at all. First lunch had been god awful and then his girlfriend had left him. And now one of the intruders (Sierra) was kicking him down below the beltline. In a bit of a wheeze, he whined out "I hate my life..." As casually as a man who had just been kicked in the groin could manage, he attempted to shove the intruder off of him.

Seeing the lanky man start scrambling away made Mau's eyes narrow, and he took after the man. "Leaving so soon?" He sneered, making a grab for the man. He really needed to vent some frustration. This man happened to be the unfortunate soul that called the Rockets' bluff, and that made him a better candidate than anyone. Mau also wasn't fond of the tone he'd taken with Nyx.
Star cast a glance over his shoulder as Mau pursued, looking harassed. "Out of my way!" He shoved a Galctic aside and knocked a chair over behind him, attempting to slow Mau down. Unfortunately Star wasn't as fast on foot as he was in the air. On top of that, he was injured.
Mau didn't heed the attempted obstructions and barreled through with his shoulder before catching the tail of Star's coat. He gave it a hard yank back, attempting to pull the man off balance before swinging his other arm in an attempt to catch him in the temple.
"Ah!" Star yelped as he was yanked backward. He barely managed to keep his footing and narrowly ducked the fist coming at his head. A sharp elbow flew at Mau's gut as he attempted to wrench his coat free.
The elbow hardly phased Mau as there was a cracking sound. Star's elbow met with the Rocket Dex that had been tucked into the inside pocket. As such, Mau's grip didn't falter, and instead just warranted another strike. This time, Mau aimed for Star's nose, which looked swollen and tender. He did, however, release Star's coat when he connected to the man's face.
Star cringed as his boney appendage connected with a solid object instead of skin. A look of surprise flashed across his face an instant before a fist connected with his already-broken nose. The force of the blow sent him stumbling back onto a tool cart. He groaned and doubled over the cart, using it for support. A moment passed before he turned his head to look at Mau over his shoulder, wearing an unexpected smirk. The spindly Galactic whirled around suddenly, yanking a nail gun from a hook on the side of the cart with his good arm. The device rattled off a loud TAK TAK TAK TAK as it fired four large nails at Mau's bicep.
Mau wasn't expecting him to smirk like that. Arceus did he want to just smash his- The sound of the nail gun registered before the sight of it had. "GAH!" He cried out as he felt something first graze his arm, the a searing sharp pain. "Groudon's balls! Ebn el sharmoota!" He slipped into his native tongue before attempting to dislodge the gun from Star with his other hand.
Mau's grab managed to ensnare the gun's cord. This act probably saved his life, as Star looked to be taking better aim. When the device jerked downward the tall Galactic gave an annoyed "tsh", lobbed the gun at Mau's face and took off.
Mau staggered back a step as the gun had been thrust at his face. It connected, but it was a weak thrust. As Star took off, Mau raised the nail gun and fired one shot after the man before dropping it. Star wasn't important any more. Getting out was.
The nail shot after Star and punched a small hole in his billowing coat rather than the Galactic himself.

Well, that was about as much help as a chocolate kettle. Hayes had been in the back of the group, being unobtrusive as he did best; he lagged there now, scanning the hangar for what looked the most aerodynamic. Drifblim, no, Gyarados, no.. "Hey." Aulus got an urgent elbow to the side. "We need to get the doors clear."
"The hanger doors?" Aulus asked as his pokemon began to launch their attacks. "Right! Let's go then!" So saying he turned towards the doors and took off at a run, letting Red out of her pokeball too and holding his staff ready to attack. "Alright you lot, all out! Clear the path!"
"You make an opening; I'll get inside." Hayes hesitated for a moment, then selected three Pokeballs. "Nem, Dar! Help him out!" Out came his Glaceon and Pidgeot, the latter with a boisterous scream to rattle the rafters and announce his presence. The third was a green-eyed Pikachu, who looked around at the chaos, then bounded up Hayes' leg to perch on his shoulder. "Heh, yeah," the programmer grinned at Switch as he followed after Aulus. "You stay with me." "Pika."
"You got it!" Aulus called as they neared the first patch of resistance. Tortie unleashed a bite (18 ) on the closest foe to her while Char let loose a flame burst. Paul, although cowering, tried a Constrict (12) on a Galactic's legs and overhead and further on Red started to whip up a Whirlwind (9) in an attempt to drive some of the foes back. For his part, Aulus just swung his staff at anything that got to close and tried to keep moving. s**t. He didn't want to die today. He wanted to get back to base and see Claire and tell her... and tell her? Really? Ha! Just the mad bravery of a fight, he'd never have the balls once he got safely back to base.
Darwin added to the Whirlwind with a Steel Wing of his own, and Nemerle huffed, darted ahead of the group and shot an Ice Beam at the nearest Galactic. With any luck it wouldn't hit any of Aulus' three.
A sensation of utmost cold ripped past his right shoulder, but the attack just barely skimmed past him. Aulus presumed it hit its intended target, he was a bit too busy attempting to crack a Galactic (8 ) who hadn't backed off quick enough over the head, and still striving to make progress towards the hanger doors to notice.

Nyx watched Mau take off after Star. She watched the two exchange a few blows, and was shocked when that b*****d shot Mau's arm full of nails. "Mau!" Nyx ran up to her--Mau. "Are you alrigh- Eugh..." That didn't look pretty. The elite narrowed her eyes at the retreating a**, and pulled one of her pokeballs of of her belt. "Maxwell. Get Star." She released the large steel type, who went slinking after the lanky man on all fours.

Bonnie never really was the giving sort - though the one thing she enjoyed giving was punishment, and she could give a lot of it. With an angry "whimsiii!" she aimed a rather hefty smack to the face of Galactic Two as Clyde waddled over with his arms flailing. He peered up at Galactics Two and four before he whipped up a Gust attack at them both.
Inigo pointed Leilani towards the Galactics. "Alright, mi amiga, have at it!"
The Meganium grinned widely before releasing a powerful Solarbeam at the blond Galactic. She was waving a metal thing at two little Purrloin! That wasn't nice at all.

(Galactic 7)
Water spewed through the air following the path the Sharpedo was taking as he seemed to have found a way to practically swim when there were not large bodies of water around. "PEEEDO!" He had found a target, and his thirst was only increased when the taste of blood filled his mouth. the sharks red eyes seemed to dilate, in hunger and drive.
He had zipped by the human though, and unlike being in a body of water, turning as sharply and swimming back for a second bite took a lot more time then usual. Not to say he wouldn't do it, streaking himself in a long circle, mouth open wide for another attack. But before he could level out a path to the human, the aria he was in was suddenly surrounded by a thick smoke, and Sharpedo's vision was reduced dramatically. "SHAR SHAR!" He roared, annoyed and furious.
He needed more WATER! Why were they always on land! This land was stupid and inconvenient. So, time to make more water. Sharpedo left his mouth open, though this time, the amount of water gushing forth formed a Surf attack (7).
(Hayes, and Nyx) Crouching down next to Absol, who watched carefully for any attacks, unknown pokemon and Galactics to come by. The green haired Agent looked over at Hayes stepped closer to get Nyx's attention, frowning softly at the conversation. Hayes was right about getting the dunsparse out of the way. At this she looked at her Charizard. "Charizard. go help." She knew he would have trouble himself, but she hoped this would prompt other pokemon to help.
Charizard snarled darkly at her, but with a Growl he opened his wings, taking off heavily, getting high enough up before he could dive down and crash himself into the Dunsparce machine
Faleen stood herself back up when Nyx called after Mau, only not just noticing that the other Agent had run after the man who had given them away. The pointy Galactic p***k, that Nyx was helping to take care of "Hayes," She said, Hurrying to catch up with him after a glance over to her Partner who was actually fighting a Galactic. huh. drawing up behind Hayes to get his attention as well, "I'll help you." This was the Galactic HQ, even if they could beat this team, there were way more where that came from. Hayes had the right idea. And they were good enough with the machines to pick the most promising... she was confident anyway.
