"Well then let's find out together, we are partners after all." He said looking at the front doors. "Tell you what last one in buys lunch." He started to run towards the door.

Misa knew full and well what he meant, but she still let a loud laugh escape her lips. She threw her weapon up one more time, using most of her force. The weapon went high in the sky, the sun glimmered off the blade, then it came soaring down again. When it came down, she easily caught it again. "Didn't I tell you already?" Misa asked, her eyebrows raised in a confused look. She sighed, one hand on her hip. "I thought you had been listening. You need to have your ears open this time." Her confused look disappeared, and was replaced with a determined smile. Her eyes flashed, and the breeze pushed her hair back. "I'm going to become the greatest Meister in the world."

Aug stayed silent for a bit. The katar began to glow bright green again and Aug returned to his human form. He landed perfectly next to Misa and sighed. "I meant...." He was about to say before thinking about it. She probably got what he said but still continued to show her ego. "Oh never mind." Aug began stretching out his arms and legs. They felt kinda stiff and he wasn't fond of it. He didn't spend a lot of time in weapon form and that could been to cause of it. Over time he figured his body would adjust to the constant change. "Anyways I figure that I could use some food of sorts. You could join me if you are up to it." He said while walking off to the two big doors. A small yellow object started rolling towards him and Aug recognized it right away. Crouching he picked it up and smiled. Not only did he get a partner he also got back the yo-yo he found. Quickly putting it in his pocket he then quickly ventured into the hallways.

((Exits to hallways))

Kya grunted as she was beaten into the building. She almost giggled as she charged in the doors after her partner, she didn't like being beaten but at least he was fast.

((onward to the halls))

"Today's the day..." she said aloud to herself as she walked up the many stairs leading to the courtyard and entrance of the academy. The stairs were many and tiring, but she really didn't feel it; the excitement and nervousness she felt kept it at bay.

Ever since she had come to learn of her weapon ability she had wanted to come to the academy. Her father and brother all for it were proud and happy for her. Death City had given them a new start and like the academy, would give her a future to help people and do some good in the world. Having never stepped this close to the academy for weapons and meisters, always from a distance, the sheer size was very impressive. Ash knew she was going to get lost at some point.

Nearing the courtyard though she adjusted her weapon tag a bit and rummaged out her camera that she had in her shoulder bag; never went somewhere without it. Brushing her blond bangs out of the way she took the last step and stared up at the beauty of the academy, a grin on her lips. The warm breeze on her pale skin ruffled her hair and the black fur on her jacket, raising her camera she took the image into focus and snapped a picture.

"Amazing..." she murmured. "...if the outside is this impressive, I bet the inside is way better..."

Messing with her camera some more, she snapped some more pictures of the candles and the skull faces. Ash continued this for a bit and was about to step around and get closer for better angles when suddenly there was a tap on her shoulder. Lowing her camera she looked over her shoulder with a sweep of her golden hair and found a guy there.

He seemed friendly enough with his smile and his words made her smile in reply.

"Yea...I am new, is it that obvious," Ashlee asked as she turned to face him, her black Nikon camera now resting in her hands. Looking at him, she took in his honey blond hair and hazel eyes. And the Meister tag on his chest. "Oh...you're a Meister, you new too then?"

"My name is Ashlee, my friends call me Ash," she said introducing herself before continuing the conversation. It was polite to offering your name after all, her father was always about having good manners, though they were lost on her brother.

"So you're new to Death City, guess a welcome should be said then, so welcome to Death City," Ash said with a smile and chuckle, though inwardly she felt kind of stupid and awkward. To her, her words sounded off and awkward, Ash wasn't socially inept just...didn't talk much. "...yea if you need directions or something, feel free to ask; it can be complicated getting around."

Ruffling her short hair, Ash stumbled for words but remember he mentioned her being a weapon. A topic she could talk about a lot more easily. "Yea...I'm a weapon, a scythe in fact," she said giving a proud grin.
