Karuta bit her lip as the Queen of Hearts was revealed. "Alright alright so you got the first line solved. 'When the Queen of Hearts and Jack of Spades are together...'" She sighed and brushed a stray hair into place. "'The King of Clubs is away with the Ace of Diamonds'... Your second second hint for the second line..."

Ryou looked between the cards labeled six and eight, and opted to flip over the card labeled eight, not taking his time.

Card nine was the Jack of Hearts. Karuta remained silent as she watched Ryou make his next move. Still, she remained expressionless, watching each movement carefully.

"The Queen of Spades... Correct..." Karuta seemed to brush a stray hair behind her ear again, but there was no stray hair in the first place. "One line to go... still on only strike one... 'The Ace of Clubs and the King of Diamonds are closer than expected'..."

Ryou looked at the cards before looking at Karuta. "One question before I proceed...you seem to be having a nervous habit...almost like a tell. Why do you keep brushing stray hair that isn't there."

Karuta kept her eyes on the cards before looking up at Ryou. "No reason..." she said, the same look on her face as before. Whether it was just to annoy him or for some unknown reason, she "brushed her hair back" again.

Ryou shrugged, reaching out to put his hand on the card labeled fourteen. "Remember that if you cheat, or have rigged the game in anyway, you lose."
