 Akiraa smirked as she noticed Ryuusei evading Ami's inquiry. She didn't point it out, though, just to see if the Mercurian had noticed it.
Ami cocked an eyebrow, wondering why he didn't answer her question. "That isn't much of an answer; from what it seems, you are able to manipulate energy to some extent and you're clearly trained in martial arts," she said, remarking idly on her observations from earlier. Ryuusei shrugged, not all that surprised nor really impressed. "Hai, though most would assume it to be only in the forms of attack techniques; I personally am able to do a variety of things with my talents and I am able to manipulate spiritual energy to some extent as well as my natural fire affinity," he said with a slight shrug.

Akiraa saw Ryuusei shift one hand before he tilted it sharply so the palm was up as a small spark of deep bluish white flame ignited.
Ami blinked at the sudden creation of unusual energy, her eyes widening slightly in surprise. Ryuusei condensed the spark into a sphere no larger than a baseball that seemed to rotate slowly and hover a half inch above his palm. It seemed more like a miniature sun in appearance, yet its glow reminded one of moonlight blended with faint arcs of prismatic lightning.

Yes, yes, very impressive. Aerie sounded anything but, however, I do believe you owe us a story. A powerful enemy has entered the field, it would be beneficial to know all we can about him so we are better prepared.

Akiraa cocked her head, noticing that Ryuusei was cautious and wary from his body language.
Ami tilted her head thoughtfully. Ryuusei exhaled slowly. "Kagaen is ranked as a 'B' ranked missing-nin, in essence, a deserter with known skills in swordsmanship as well as lightning and water manipulation; both of those elemental affinities can be combined into what is known as 'Ranton', manifesting as streams of flowing energy that can be directed with enough control. However, it is unknown if he has discovered this and how well he can control it if he has. When I first encountered him we fought to a draw, though his comrade who gave him the opportunity to escape today was the same one I encountered before... he used a technique known as Fūton: Fūtan Onagona though I don't remember much after that," he said quietly. The technique literally translated as 'Wind Release: Shattering Wind Bullet' and had been quite painful though he'd been wearing heavy armor that had been nearly shattered due to taking the full impact of the blow.

Roe pressed her lips together in dismay, "What is it he wants with this planet?" She hoped he wasn't after the bells, even if he didn't know how to use them properly, they could still cause a lot of damage, "Or should I ask, can you think of any reason he'd want something on this planet?"

Akiraa cocked her head as she took a slow breath. "I don't like the sound of that," she thought, unconsciously whispering the thought to Aerie.
Ami was quiet as she was thinking. Ryuusei sighed. "I don't know why he's here, and honestly, I don't know if there's a connection to the world I came from and here," he said quietly.

It didn't need to be said, but that...well, it sucked, as humans were prone to saying. Roe's jaw tightened, "Nothing for it, then. We'll have to be vigilant and work together." She murmured finally and moved to clear the table.((Time jump?))

Ami nodded slightly, helping Roe clear the table. Ryuusei nodded ever so slightly. "I'll tell you more about what some of those from my world were capable of later... if absolutely necessary, I'll teach you some more useful techniques that could be used against them when they show themselves again," he said calmly.
