While Red thinks he's a born leader, his rainbow "brothers" simply think him bossy. He acts rather entitled and thinks he knows the best way to do things.. which, to be frank, is usually correct, but he goes about it in such a way that just makes him seem bratty. Red likes things very organized, in his own way, and schedules things just so for himself and his companions.. for they all must be together, at all times.

Jaffa loves sweets, especially chocolate, and would love to make some babies with dessert-based ponies!
Jaffa is a.. simple fellow. He likes what he likes, and does what he does, and he rarely steps out of those lines. He's very gentle, both in voice and in personality, and is the type of pony that would be perfectly content to spend an entire day watching the clouds float by in the sky. If there could be one thing at the very top of Jaffa's list of favorites, it would be sweets.. he has a massive sweet tooth and will never turn down baked goods, fresh fruit or sugar cubes!

Dandy would make a wonderful mate, and father! ...if perhaps he ends up with a pony that is, ahem, a wee bit smarter than he is.
Dandelion, often called Dandy for short, is a bit dim-witted. He takes things very literal, which means he doesn't understand sarcasm very well, and he has a hard time visualizing things he cannot see with his own two eyes. He's almost always found by Red's side, as he takes everything Red says very seriously, but the only things that will cause him to stray from his rainbow clan are freshly cut oranges (which he cannot resist) and the sight of pretty mares (which he also can't seem to resist).

Pickle is especially drawn to ponies in jewel-tones like himself.
Pickle is such a handsome boy! His markings being solely on his face makes him stand out rather nicely.. despite the fact that his rainbow companions also have isolated markings. He's very charming and clever, and while Red is the unofficial leader of their troupe.. Pickle is definitely the brains of the group. Though he finds it difficult to break away from his ROYGBIV herd too often, he has become rather good friends with Erebus and enjoys spending time with the navy unicorn.

Despite his own coloring, Cobalt loves the colors black, white, and grey.. and thinks he'd be complimentary with ponies in those shades.
Cobalt has a very deep voice! It's gravelly and low, which is sometimes surprising come out of a fluffy, cute pony like he is. Cobalt is very even tempered and hard to get riled up, and as such his role in the rainbow band is that of mediator.. when Red comes on too strongly, Cobalt steps in to tone things down. If Purpur is acting up too much, Cobalt is the one to calm him down. He also can be quite intimidating, with a voice like he has, and will often use it to his advantage in an attempt to keep the peace among his "brothers".

Other purple, violet or lilac ponies.. look out!
Purpur is the epitome of hyperactive. He has a hard time standing still for more than a few seconds, and is always into something he shouldn't be! Ponies outside of the rainbow herd find Purpur to be obnoxious most of the time, with his fast speech and never-ending whirlwind of movement, but in general he's not a bad pony.. he just has difficulties keeping himself calm. He's prone to babbling outbursts and incessant fidgeting, which gets on Red's nerves more often than not, and depends on Cobalt to keep things steady between them.
