"Should we try to feed it doctor? It's looks a bit...flaccid."
"Well, if you check Cael's make-up bag, I'm sure you'll find some little blue pills..."

"Not something I want to find out," Harrison admitted. He hoped this wasn't the equivalent of bothering baby bears.
He edged near the tank.
"These guys are from a Mario game too, right?"

THE INTRUDERS:"They are green thank you very mu-"
- The tent suddenly fluttered open: there was no mistaking the rare chaos outside, Hunters flying left and right from a strange glowing-blue force. "S-Sirs, there are intruders outside. They broke the barrier!"
Caelius was suddenly one-hundred and twenty percent serious mode again. His eyes snapped to the trainees simply meandering about. "We shall continue later. Trainees, follow me, it looks like we have a very special guest. This is a good time to put all your training to exercise."
OOC - Follow Caelius back outside HERE again. - Read THE GAUNTLET gm post, the Hunter instructions following, and attack accordingly! Good luck!

Davey was quite interested by what the Scottish creature knew - or, more accurately, by what it didn't know. Nothing remembered before the house. It could be important.
He shot a look over his shoulder to their supposed mentors, Caelius and the Doctor. "Would a lack of memories indicate anything? Incompatibility, or something more along the lines of the ghosts there?"
What had the Doctor and Clarice been discussing? That they were 'summoned' ghosts? 'As opposed to what, real ones?' he thought, then snorted.
A brief jangle from the sword-imprinted tag on his neck had Davey reconsidering. Monsters and demons, check. It's quite possible that there were real ghosts out there, as opposed to the cutsey little things he'd captured. If there was a difference between two types of ghosts, maybe there were different types of the humanoid supernatural creatures, as well. Some of them 'normal' (whatever that meant in regards to the supernatural) and some of them not quite as 'real'.
"Maybe we need to try this process on someone who has memories pre-house. The newer ones... you said they were students?" Students meant a school, which meant somewhere other than the haunted house. Using one of the new captives was sounding better all the time.
Someone ran into the tent and Davey took his time looking up, guessing it was just another returning trainee. He was wrong. His eyes narrowed as intruders were reported. When Caelius spoke up, Davey was the first to fall in line, summoning Azrael's sword form back to his hand. It seemed that he'd finally get a proper fight after all.

Gale heard it before it was announced - something was going on outside.
<< Time to go? >> said Jinhai, sounding strangely eager, and Gale smirked, lowering the rifle to his hands.
"Time to go."

Bix jumped a bit as the flap flew open all of a sudden. As always Caelius and H looked completely unphased. The young hunter simply shut his trap and gulped.
They needed to follow their 'leader' into battle. He clutched his bow tightly and followed.

The doctor's soft growl of irritation at the interruption is quickly replaced with curiosity at the prospect of actually capturing Caelius's little vanity project. The Life Hunter briskly exited the tent, his assistant scurrying after. Unfortunately, another technician bumped into the boo-tank as they out to see what was happening, in just the right place to loosen it's seals. [H is exiting to the Gauntlet to snipe people's s**t like a total a*****e] The OOC The two boos are now able to escape their tank! They can either stay in the tent, or join the gauntlet battle! As boos they are free to attack either side.

Jerry's trembling turned into a wobble as Candace stepped in, his expression slacking, "I... er... Sorry-" He managed weakly, lowering Roar, finally, although begrudgingly. He shook his head, turning to concentrate on her face and that ridiculous stuck-on mustache instead of the creatures in the cages, breathing slow and deep. The more he staired, the more a tight, anxious laugh bubbled up in his chest. Just calm down. The nervous hum had just reached his throat when something seemed to erupt outside, and the bazooka was up again in a heartbeat, "S-something's-"
It seemed they were on the call again, hunters already rushing out the door and into the fray. This.. this was it! He almost immediately followed instinct to step towards the tent flap once more, but stopped himself as he stared down at his feet and pantaloons.
"Candace- Er... if... if you wouldn't mind? Maybe we could uh. Trade?" If he was going out into battle... he would prefer not doing so in pink. No matter how much Harrison seemed to like the color.

(( HI I'M A PROXY FOR HUNI <33 ))
Before instinctively clutched his weapon closer to his chest and let out a startled squeak, all sense of petty revenge and attempts at intimidation going out the window upon Caelius' order. "C-clean up time? U-uh, u-uh..." 8I "'K..." he gulped and followed after his teammates.

The sounds outside and the shaking of the tent had Candace clinging instinctively to Jerry, eyes wide and looking all around. Intruders?! What? Caelius was calling it a special guest...how special is special? She wanted, no, she needed to see. She was even about to leave when Jerry stopped her. Huh? Trade? Trade...what? Ohhhh! Okay! Candace nodded. "Yeah, sure. Works for me." She'd rather be in the corset and tights than the overalls and stupid hat. And this mustache! Ugh! She tugged Jerry closer to the back of the tent as far from everyone else as possible. They'd have to make this quick.
One costume change later, Candace was walking toward the exit of the tent in what had been Jerry's corset, pantaloons, tights, gloves and tiara. Much better. But the mustache had proved bothersome. She'd taken it off but another one had suddenly grown out from underneath it. Goddamnit. You look ridiculous. Atropos chuckled.
"Whatever. You ready, Jerr-bear?" Candace asked him, linking arms with the man and leading him out of the tent.

Lizzy had remained silent for a long time; seeing the hooded figure delete that other halloweener was... Well, she had seen others die before, but not like this. There was always room for struggle, room to fight... This time? There was nothing - just a push of a button and the poor thing was gone.
Just like that. Poof.
"Lattice, Vieve, Edel," She whispered, her voice low in case any of their captors were paying attention, "I think... I think our schoolmates are here." Did she dare to hope?

There was a voice. It was familiar, friendly. It was a voice that snapped her head up though her eyes were useless she still stared straight ahead for the moment listening to what the voice had to say. Lizzy's voice. The voice of a friend. It carried hope and it was slowly tethering her back to the reality even though she loathed it the situation so much. She didn't want to be here but here is where Lizzy was. Lizzy, Edel, Vieve.
She nodded slowly and uttered a soft, "Yes. Let us hope," Though the last part came out as a quiet croak.
The minute she could get free she would fight, fight to be with her Sister and everyone else too.

Harrison touched the flashdrive, and B0nez materialized in his hands.
How you doing?
Okay B0nez said, less quiet now that they were on the horizon of an all-out brawl. I can take a few hits. Don't do anything stupid.
Can't make any promises.
Guess he was going to find out about that messing with baby bears thing, whether he liked it or not. Outside was just plain chaos. This wasn't exactly his first battle, but he was determined to stay out of trouble if he could, and take a few monsters out if he couldn't.

With nobody watching them like animals, she felt a little more at ease, inching towards the side of the cage as she canted her head, "We will be fine. I believe in them..." Besides, that hooded figure reacted in such a way that it looked like he was actually worried about what was going on... And didn't that other one said something about the intruders breaking into the barrier or something?

Jerry practically floated out of the back of the tent, his face almost the color of the overalls he had managed to snag.
It had been very quick indeed. Too quick.
Roar snorted in the back of his head, get your a** out there, this 'aint the time for pumpkin patches.
At least he was feeling himself again, a trail of excited whistling following him as he swept after past the cages and into the fray.
